Amazing hidden gem! The hosts were kind and welcoming of my family and my dog. It was such a pleasant experience staying at the lodge. The whole place is beautifully decorated and picturesque. I liked that it s pet-friendly & breakfast is included. Our room was clean and had everything we needed for the stay- beds were comfy and plenty of towels were provided.Overall, I loved my stay here and will be returning one day.

Owner was extremely nice and accommodating. We were a last minute reservation & check-in. Pet friendly. Free wi-fi. Extremely wheelchair friendly. Ramps everywhere and doorways wide enough. Property flat and beautiful views. Decor, bedding outdated. Complimentary bath soap but it's a small bar. Highly recommend you bring your own toiletries. Breakfast is very basic. Oatmeal, juice, milk, individual box of cereal, Lil Debbie cakes, bagels/English muffins. Owner says getting out of the business so that's why breakfast is more continental. We were blessed to have a place to stay.Noteworthy details: Very remote so bring your own food or eat before you go there.

A gentle mountain breeze and lush green forest, beautiful views, rustic, casual and welcoming are some of the first things I think of. There are deer visiting outside the fenced paddocks, which retain the beautiful and friendly horses. Old fashioned and friendly hospitality. Large and spacious rooms. Comfortable couches, welcoming swing and the peaceful allure of the mountain. Plenty of room to sit on benches, a big grill outside, a huge kitchen inside. We enjoyed our stay and the stories and conversation with Jessie, a knowledgeable and refined gentleman, who owns the place.Rooms: Large and comfortable.Nearby activities: Just off Blue Ridge Parkway, where you can drive, bike and take in the beautiful mountain views.

Well, the place is in a beautiful location and the grounds are very nice. We had a comedy of errors regarding our check in. The owners we not there. The only other couple there let us in and chatted with us. It was late and we had been on the road for 13 hours, so we checked ourselves in. We left messages so the owners would not be surprised. In the morning they were apologetic and we got everything squared away. The owners were great to chat with and we enjoyed our morning

Loved our short time here! A fellow guest had a pound bag of carrots and let us have some to share with the three horses on the property. Gorgeous views of the mountains. Honestly a very pleasant experience.

Tired of the same hotel rooms, My family and I opted for a stay here instead, our only qualm is it wasn't a long enough stay! The house, the grounds, the views, everything was absolutely gorgeous we are already looking for an open weekend so we can come back and stay again. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and the house just oozes with comfort and love. Our hosts were amazing, everyone, guest and all were so friendly, how could we not be the house incites all the warmth and welcome you could ever imagine. Take your family here!

Awesome location, amenities, cleanliness, and hosts. We spent three nights in the Blue Ridge Parkway; this was the best place we stayed, far and away. Oh, the the bed was awesome too.

We spent one night there as we drove all the way up Blue Ridge Parkway. Lovely place, very friendly and helpful owner who runs the Bed and Breakfast, and of course it s location is awesome! Nice view, wonderful and taken care of property, and convenient location for all travelers on the BRP. Breakfast was adequate, the rooms were all nice and clean, we could use the fridge and there also is a possibility to do some laundry if needed. I definitely recommend this place!

This property is amazing! We just booked a one night stay while en route from Texas to Pennsylvania.. .we so wish we could stay longer. We are already thinking how we could plan a family reunion here for next year!! The house , the rooms, the views, the amenities, and the owners are fabulous! First class B&B and cabins. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful area, clean rooms, strong coffee. The issue for us, is that the bed was just so terribly uncomfortable. A more comfortable bed would have been found at a cheap hotel- at the price we paid for our room (160 after tax), I would have expected a more comfortable hotel bed and pillow experience but we were sorely disappointed. Also I do agree with a previous reviewer that if you are advertising as a bed and breakfast, then a hot breakfast would be ideal. At the very least, have hot water provided for guests who prefer tea to coffee, or want to make instant oatmeal.Bottom line is- if you are looking for quaint lodgings that are clean and rustic and don t care for bed comfort or a hot breakfast then sure, try out Bent Mountain Lodge- otherwise save yourself the added $60 and get a cheap hotel in town- you ll likely sleep and eat better!

We stayed in this wonderful place last September. Quiet, Serene, Homey accommodations. My only regret was that we were not there two weeks later for the fall colors. I have never seen a better view of the Blue Ridge area. Probably 100 miles in each direction. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed it very much.

We had 5 couples from our group to use this for our family reunion. All rooms were clean and well maintained...the view is super as you are up on top of the mountain. For those that like the big cooked breakfast at a bed and breakfast....this isn't it. Cereal, bananas, breakfast bars etc. I'm not a big breakfast guy so it was perfect for me. The common area that you can watch football games was super...had all ESPN channels. Super big and nice area.....a bunch of decks that we didn't get to use because of winter type weather. I think coming when it is warmer would be the ticket....watching sunsets on the decks... while drinking a cold one....we will be back to try.I think this is a great little gem that really fits the bill.....VaTech fans need to check this one....it's close to Blacks burg.... doesn't get booked and is very different than a motel stay.

I and my father stayed there a couple of weeks ago for two nights. The couple who runs the lodge are both very friendly. The cats and dogs that are on the property are all friendly. There are also beautiful horses that roam the property. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed, accompanied by my three children, at Bent Mountain Lodge in December of 2023. Every single thing about our stay exceeded my expectations. The Lodge has new owners, David and Ginger, since early November of 23 and they are friendly and accommodating and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. The mattresses were high quality and comfortable and we all slept so well. The bedding was impeccably clean and the bathroom was comfortable and very spacious. I loved how the bathroom in Guest Room 2 was in the foyer of the room, meaning you could turn on the bathroom light without disturbing someone still sleeping in the main part of the room. The breakfast was AH-MAZING (again, ignore earlier reviews about the quality of the breakfast that are prior to 11/1/23 when there was a different ownership). There was plenty of fresh fruit, coffees, teas, muffins, toast, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, English Muffins, and even more. I left the very best part for last the views are spectacular, from many angles. They re so beautiful you will want to spend as much time as you can outdoors, going for a nice hike, exploring the property, or eating and chatting at one of the dozens of outdoor seating options. This charming, beautiful, picturesque location would be amazing for girls weekends, church retreats, book club outings, weddings, family reunions, and so much more. We cannot wait to go back!

Bonnie and Jesse were wonderful hosts as always. This is a beautiful lodge with beautiful scenery. Anytime we visit Roanoke, this is our home away from home.
