Joe is the owner of the shop and he was amazing! I went into due to my car overheating and he diagnosed the problem and fixed it at a reasonable price! I really appreciated that and he s quick too! I was in and out in no time.

I went to Tuffy to fix my over heating car. The owner said he will take care of the car and i don t have to worry about it and he will give a student discount. So, i left my car there a couple hours later he called and said he have to change the radiator and the tubes because they were busted. The next morning i went there to pick up my car; as soon as i walk in he carged me $800 and took me to the garage to show me that the car is still in the same condition and still doesn t work. And he also charged me another $100 to put a stopleak and oil, just so i can drive it to home and get the engine cheak light on again. He Didnt change the tubes he just stick them back together i will include pictures.

The person there tried to finesse my woman out of $1500 for a issue he made up and tried to sell me a car illegally through his credit representatives. Do not go here AT ALL they do not do good business. Better off going to Midas 1 min away.

I went to this trash shop to get several work done on my car back on March. They replaced my alternator and when I drove back home my car broke down. Come to find out they gave me a bad alternator. This made me miss two days of work. The manager said he would give me some money back for my inconvenience. They never did. Don t go to this shop, go next door instead. They are horrible. Save yourself the time and money. Don t go here.Service: Electrical repair

Came here for an inspection and found out some things about my truck that no one told me before but it was work that needed to be done and the work was done at a reasonable price and now I bring my wife and daughters car here for service!!!!

I needed a car and Joe really came thru for me. He even came to where I live with the car I bought from him. Very kind and friendly. He went above and beyond for me. The car is beautiful and drives excellent and the price was super great. I will be doing future transactions with him. He also is a mechanic so I will be taking my car to him. Great service and I would recommend 100 percent. Thank You Joe for everything.

Took a vehicle here that I had purchased from his partner at Amir Auto Sales because the radiator was busted a day after purchase and he replaced the radiator BUT we noticed that the coolant was still leaking so we took it back a few days later only to be told everything was fine and in working order, "nothing wrong with this vehicle" were his exact words. Several days later it started running hot so we took it to another shop, BETTER shop, only to be told it would cost us $330 to replace the thermostat which they said he would have known was bad at the time he replaced the radiator. So either he swindled us or he is an incompetent mechanic either way, I suggest you look elsewhere for any vehicle repairs you need or it may cost you extra later when you have to go to a real and honest mechanic....In response to the owners reply: it is too late now as we are going to have to repair the head gasket ($3,000 job) after you put STOP LEAK in a radiator that you knew was bad causing it to overheat after all the coolant drained out on the first day this vehicle was purchased. BUT tried to sell it as perfectly fine when it was brought back after the radiator repair and told you it was still having issues. Fortunately we found a competent mechanic who explained all of this to us. So no point in bringing it back you as you were given your chance to make this right and you sent us down the road by telling us this vehicle was in GREAT shape.Service: Auto water leak repair

This place gave me legit and honest assessments of my vehicle. They fixed mistakes from other shops and even discounted me a few dollars for their services. This will be my go to for any vehicle issues. I highly recommend Tuffys for your vehicle needs! Amazing job me and my boyfriend went. After they did a great job with his car I had to go and take my car. They work quick and the work is 100%. Plus they are very friendly especially the owner. I will be returning for the work and for making us feel important.

This place has the best prices in town, I was waiting for my brakes to be changed and they finished in exactly an hour just as they said and Ali and Joe did such a great job !

Excellent customer service!!! I found this wonderful shop last year because I waiting until the last minute to get an inspection. They completed my inspection and gave me a great deal on my tires. This year I did the same thing(waited until the last minute to get my inspection) and I called Tuffys. They advised it was first come first served but they made sure to get me in. Excellent service and I highly recommend!!!!Services: Tires, Brakes

I have confidence in Tuffy Colonial Heights for any issue I have and for regular maintenance. Joe has been my mechanic for about five years now. Any problem I come with he solves quickly. Service that ll cost a grand or more at a dealership, he ll do for a fraction and ONLY the necessary. No appointment necessary, he can see you same day and maybe even fix it if you get there early. 5/5 would recommendServices: General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

Quick, great service. Took my car in on the spot. Told me I had to get my front lights cleaned to pass inspection...which I did. Charged me $50 on top of the inspection which felt pricey and the headlights had spots on them after the cleaning. Other than that, recommend.

Sat there two hours for oil change & inspection just for them to reject me over a headlight that they claimed was not workingWent around the street & got my inspection done with no issue. They are all about money here, say you need to fix things you ve never even heard of, also the white lady in the office gave me the wrong paper for my car, told me the balance was going to be $800, when my car was nine. Had me looking over other peoples information because she s to busy to keep up with customers names. Do not waist your time with this business. Mom went a few days ago & experienced some of the same issues.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are great! I came in with no appointment for a State Inspection. They finished up in 45 minutes, failed for windshield wipers and helped me with the cost because I was short on cash! I'll definitely will be coming back they're a godsend, thank you Tuffys in Colonial Heights!

Tuffy Auto Center is The Best in the Tri City area. Joe took care of all of my automobile needs. I needed a windshield and it was done to satisfactory. The prices are reasonable. I m moving from Virginia to Florida, so I have a lot of my belongings and my 4 pets with me. Yosef and his son (?) got us in IMMEDIATELY, picked up the part their self (radiator hose) and installed. I was there for under 2 hours. They said to call if we needed help, 40 miles later we had an issue. We called asking for advice. The following day they called us just to check up on us and making sure we were doing well and back on the road. HIGHLY recommend them, they re extremely caring and nice. Tony, the owner I assume, was also a great conversation.

I love this place! everyone in there is so nice and friendly and the prices are reasonable! Tuffy has been a life saver! I come here all the time to get my car fixed. They will work with you and they get the job done! They take care of me all the time. No real wait time. If you need inspection or and oil change this is the place to go.

I've always had great service with this Auto Services Center. They have always done a great job and it for some reason I felt something was not right, they always took the time to check out my concern. My family members and I, always try to take our vehicles to Tuffy on the boulevard in Colonial Heights and we all consider the owner Joe to be honest and reasonable.

I am so thankful that Tuffy's does inspections. Everyone there is so friendly, they even gave me fresh brewed coffee. Anthony did the inspection, only took a few minutes and I didn't even have an appointment. I've never been to Tuffy's before but I definitely will go back.
