This had to be one of the most honest experiences I've had at a mechanic shop. Had a transmission rebuilt and when it was acting up again he made sure everything was right and isolated another problem and made the whole experience enjoyable. He stands by his work.

Arriving with concerns about the transmission on my pickup, Butch asked to leave it and said he would drive it to see what is wrong. The next day I received a call saying that after about 30 miles of driving it and because of the age of the vehicle his recommendation was to not do anything at all to the vehicle. He could have said this or that was wrong and proceeded with costly repairs that were unnecessary. Instead I received and honest and fair assessment. It's hard to ask for anymore than that.

beware... while my mother's car was there being worked on, it was driven 100s of miles away and got a ticket for not paying a toll and when she contacted the owner, he yelled at her and told her that the photo of her car taken at the toll doesn't show a face so she couldn't prove it.....the car was in his garage for service for a couple of weeks and the ticket photo was dated during the time they had her car.
