I have a 45ft American Eagle Motorcoach and my 12.5kw Onan generator was making a banging sound that got load then would go quiet for a few minutes and start up again. I brought it here for servicing on the way to FL. I found their technicians and management to be top notch. It took time to get to the root problem as they had to take the generator out of the coach, they worked with their support teams to confirm a manf defect in the power generation side (vs engine side) on an internal component. They kept me in the loop through the whole process. Getting the part shipped and installed took several days and they hosted me with 50A power in their lot while I waited. They even let me empty my tanks and fill with fresh water. I felt very well taken care of. The part was covered by warranty but the labor was not. Their management stood behind the Cummins brand name and came back with a very reasonable invoice amount. I would HIGHLY recommend them for engine and generator work!!

We rolled into Cummins at 3pm with a generator issue. Joe and mike diagnosed the problem immediately and then worked with Jeff to have the part sent overnight. They let us camp in the lot (which even had 30amp power outlets) and when the part arrived at 0900 the next morning they had us out the door by 10. Incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable.

I would not recommend bringing your truck to this place had them put new motor in they told me they would turn it up and not vid the warranty I paid them the estimate price in full when got there when truck was done they didn't turn motor up they lied saying they they would have to put bigger pistons in all stuff but they could have with computer then I paid 48 thousand up front bill was 46 no money back made up reason why so do not have them work on your stuff

My wife and I were on a 3000 mile vacation in our class C motor home and our generator wouldn t start.We made an appointment for a Friday morning and we were promptly seen. Staff was awesome. We were back on the road with minimal delay and a running generator. Thank you everyone at Cummins of Cloverdale Va.

We were just passing through town and had planned to stay the night nearby. When we went to start the generator, it wouldn't stay on. After trying to troubleshoot it ourselves we thre in the towel after two hours.We own a 2021 Thor Coleman 26CM. We barely have 10,000 miles on the engine.Cummins was able to get us right in and performed some diagnostic tests and determined the the fuel pump was the problem. Luckily they had this part in stock and were able to change it out immediately.We were so delighted to be back on the road in less than two hours. All those that we interacted with were polite, professional, and explained things thoroughly.We left very satisfied. Thank you Cummins!

Great service! Quality work done and fairly knowledgeable staff. Techs keep the inside clean and do great work. Wouldn't go any other place to have work done on a Cummins!

We barely limped in and they worked us in. They had to order parts, they let us stay until our coach was fixed (fuel sending unit and fuel filter assembly). Very professional. Excellent service.Thank you!

Had a loud squealing noise on acceleration on our class A diesel pusher RV. Very professional and clean, great service! Quickly diagnosed the problem and had our diesel engine repaired same day. Thank you Cummins!

What I though was great service for 15 years turned out to be not be service at all. For almost 10 yrs I asked them to fix my gen. as the starter was draging on our Allergo Bus. They would tighten up this or that , charged me and never fixed the problem. On my last service trip I ordered a new starter and had it replaced. Now the gen starts like it should.But this is only the minor part. They failed for 10 yrs. to grease the u-joint on my fan drive shaft. In the spring while on a camping trip I parked beside a simular Allegro Bus. Looking around we noticed alot of rust on the u-joints. After checking the shaft was about ready to fall. Not only were ALL the bearings gone, all that was left was 1/2 of the post on the u-joint. Had tyhat shaft broke lose who much damage would it have done?

I have a 2002 Country Coach Motorhome and have been using Cummings shops across the country for annual service and to fix problems when they show up. They have always been great with their service, if they can't find or get the part they find a way to get one made and the problem is fixed. The Roanoke shop was an excellent example of what I've come to expect when I pull up in front and turn my coach over to them for service.

Drove RV in for recall and found this place beyond our expectations. The place was very clean and had very professional staff greet us. They were also very respectful of our RV. We would definitely return to this location if need be! A++ service!!!

07/4/18. Stranded on the road. Sevice truck came charging three times normal rate. Said the problem is in the fuel filter. I showed him where it was just changed, he then he said that they didnt change the primary fuel filter. I told him the tech. said there was only one fuel filter, he checked. He showed me where the other one was and replaced it. Expect extra charges and more than what you asked for. Wanted fuel filter changed only. After diagnostic fee and inspection, 535.00. Found a bad sensor which was good, bought it, had it installed, joined a club for discounts and asked for a card and they said there was none and they would register me, dont worry about it. Well, im wottied about itbecause they have my address wrong and i will never get the card. Cummins dealer in richmond va had no proof on the computer and I had no temp card to prove it. Thank God, Wayne believed me, input the data to make me current on the system and give me an ID number and then gave me the discount, Without Proof. This is a business I would continue to deal with in Richmond. Stay away from Roanoke in Cloverdale, idots and ripoffs.

We stop for service at this Cummins Service Center every year because we feel that they know what they are doing and we don t feel like they rip us off by adding additional work that isn t required.

Horrible customer service and warranty service. Would rather work harder to exclude warranty items then solve a customer problem. The only solutions anyone would offer were excuses and poor attempts to pass the buck. Just another example of a fine American company sliding down the hill of zero accountability for their products and services just to chase the almighty dollar.
