Always great service! These guys and girls are always so courteous and helpful. They don t make you feel dumb and they keep you in the loop the entire time they are taking care of your car. They are also super quick and you can get it all done without leaving your car! Thanks to all of you for making getting an oil change easy and fast!

I ve gone to this Valvoline location for the last three oil changes. The staff are always polite, respectful and honest! They try to find you the best deal, don t offer products or services you don t need, and encourage you to shop around to find the best price for any you do need. Oil changes take maybe 20 minutes once you re in the bay. They walk and talk you through the entire process. It s nice to know I go, get my car serviced and not have to question everything they say or suggest!

I was in and out in 30 minutes! They checked all of the fluids, did the tires, called-out the lid for each system as they closed them and even showed me the oil level at the end. I used an online coupon and the price was good on a full synthetic change. Great service and everyone was very polite! That was the best oil change experience I've had in 38 years of owning cars! (besides doing it myself)

Mack and the crew are awesome. Very professional but they also seem to enjoy their job. They re fast and absolutely reasonably priced and don t pressure you to get more than you need. Will always come here for oil changes and maintenance.

This place is top notch!!!! I was out of town and needed an oil change. Feeling a little skeptical being away from home I did a google search for places close to me. I was beyond impressed with the service!! This crew of people had great communication with me and their fellow employees. They did not try to find issues to up charge. I entered and left feeling complete satisfaction from start to finish. Thank you guys!!!

Went here today and Zachary and Michael (I think that was his name) were great as well as the other men that I didn t catch their names! I got an oil change and they were so fast and I don t feel like they are scammy which is a problem with a lot of car shops and has happened to me many times before. The website also has coupons btw so I used those. Everything was quick and easy and I will be going again!

This is the best service I've ever received from any car service place including the dealership, they were extremely fast, explained all services very clearly and kept an extreme professional attitude the whole time, the entire team here deserves an award. I % will be returning to this chain to receive all future services as it has bested my expectations 10 fold!

I recently stopped at this Valvoline location after my 2013 BMW gave me a low oil warning on my drive on I81 from VT to FL. My car was brought in on a tow truck and I could tell the staff was a little confused, at first. I explained that the car was still running and drove, I just didn t want to take any chances since I had so far to drive. Andre is was SO awesome! He serviced the car quickly, explained that the vehicle still had plenty of oil and no visible damage, topped off all my fluids and really took concern with making sure I could finish my trip safely. As a woman traveling alone, it is so important to find someone who cares and is trustworthy. He even left a note on my receipt wishing me a fun and safe trip. Thank you, Andre & Zachary! I made it to Florida safely and I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and professionalism that day! I hope to never have a need like this again, but if I do, I ve made note of this location and would stop back!Service: Oil change

Got my oil changed here three or four times! The cool thing is they show you your oil level after the oil change! Never had any oil leak/ level issues after change. Staff is decent. I would recommend for oil change!

The best customer service I have ever received. Polite staff, fast work and great communication of your car needs without pressuring you into buying things. I left feeling happy to have spent the money which never happens with car maintenance. My experience at this Valvoline is exactly why I change my own oil and filter. I took my car in to change the oil and filter before I drove to Virginia Beach (about 5hr) for the weekend because I m a college student and don t have the space to do it myself. I drive a Volkswagen GTI, and these cars are finicky and each one is slightly different, which the techs even said themselves. I informed them that I work on my own car and I only want the oil and filter changed, and brought my own oil and filter for them to use.Not only did they disconnect the air filter box from the hooks that hold it down on the engine, but my air intake (stock, so it s plastic bolted onto the car and connects to the air filter box with a clamp) was ripped off the bolt AND disconnected from the air filter box.In addition, my car can only take either pink or purple coolant. I personally use purple. It does not take a genius to figure out that you should not use the wrong color of coolant in your car, nor should you mix coolant colors. There is a scientific/technical explanation for this I will not be getting into. When I checked my coolant tank, the coolant was an orangish-brown, and far above the maximum fill line.I understand that most people are not as knowledgeable about their cars, but when someone insists several times that they do know how their car works and how to take care of it, believe them.I drove to and from Virginia Beach before any problems became audible while I was on the highway. Because I told the techs several times that I do, in fact, work on my own car and can easily perform the services they were offering myself, I did not think to double check after these people that are supposed to be trained professionals. Imagine my extreme surprise when I discover that not only was my air intake completely disconnected from the car AND the air filter box, but the coolant in my car was both mixed with another color AND the wrong color.If you care about your engine s health, either be extremely specific and adamant about what you want here, or do not go here at all. Change your oil yourself or take it to a shop that specializes in your car. This was a waste of my money and my time.Service: Oil change

They were fairly fast, but the price is way too high. This was for a fleet vehicle. I will do my own vehicles myself for more than 1/2 the cost.

Breaking Up is Hard to Do Before today, I was a highly enthusiastic fan of Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Christiansburg.I have five Toyotas that VIOC has done regular oil changes and other services on. Two of our Toyotas have over 300,000 miles on them; a third is approaching 300k. I used to do most of my own automotive work, and I am familiar with my cars individual needs. VIOC has been a trusted, valued partner in keeping my cars healthy and running well.Today I went in to have the oil changed in my 2011 Camry, a V6. I told the fellow that I wanted a conventional oil change with a 5,000 mile interval on the window sticker. He said that for 5.000 miles, I would need to go up to the next grade of oil, which is more costly. He said the manufacturer specifies the 3000 mile interval. I refused the more expensive oil and the shorter interval. He called over his supervisor over (not sure, he didn t introduce himself). The next guy advised that the 3000 interval is what the manufacturer specifies. He also said that most cars start to burn oil at about 3500 miles into a 5000 mile interval, especially when driven on the highway a lot. He was quite adamant about this. At this same time, the tech was checking the oil level I arrived with. I asked the tech what the level was, and he said, Full and showed it to us.I have had numerous pleasant and positive experiences getting service done at VIOC. I liked that they followed industry standards for doing oil changes, and used a torque wrench to tighten my lug nuts. They seemed on-the -ball and professional. Most of the weekday staff recognize me because maintaining five Toyotas keeps me in there pretty regularly. But none of my familiar people were working. So I got mansplained to and lied to.If a valued repeat customer can t trust VIOC to not swindle me out of more money, then who can trust them? Why should I have to know someone in order to get honest and thorough maintenance?I won t be going back.Services: Tires, Oil change

Best oil change experience I've ever had! They were thorough and professional, friendly and I didn't feel any high pressure sales pitches. They were thorough and showed me a cabin filter I have never had replaced because I didn't even know it existed (car is 2014) until now. it. was. grosss!! The guys here are great. Very knowledgeable, friendly, honest and professional. They answered all our questions and checked our vehicle thoroughly. Fast and attentive, but didn't check the air in all of my tires when asked. They only filled one tire and it wasn't the tire that was low. Good job on the oil change though.

Much better than someone of the other quick service oil change places. Super fast service. You drive into the bay and you stay in your car while they work. They have a computer screen showing all the options and up sells they offer and they have a timer set showing how long you have been in there. They have cameras set up so you can watch them as they change your oil. Employees were very friendly and polite and didn t try to shove expensive up sells down your throat. Will return.

Did an ok job on oil/filter change .. however I think it's suspicious they no longer allow you to watch the screen of the work being performed underneath the vehicle.Also advised me during the same oil change that my battery was in need of immediate replacement and offered their prices . I declined and had my battery tested at two different locations same day on way home and it test fine at both locations.Be careful on their up selling on items such a as wipers ( They don't tell you that the price that they give you is per wiper blade and not per set ) , batteries, and air filters

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They are so nice and helpful here. The technicians are very good at transparently communicating with you, so you always know what s going on. The service was very quick and thorough. The assistant manager, Josh worked on my car, and he was the absolute best! He was both knowledgeable and kind as he explained what he was doing and what services my car may need in the upcoming months. I was initially excited when I saw this place was open, but I left completely disappointed after wasting ~3 hours of my Saturday dealing with problems they created.I came here for an oil change on my wife's car. The brake light was out so I asked them to change it. Instead of changing out the brake light bulb, the manager changed out the turn signal light bulb (which was working fine). Before I left, I asked the gentleman helping me if my brake lights were good because the brake light bulb notification was still on, and he told me that both lights were working. When I got home, I saw a loose bulb sitting in my tail light housing. The bulb must have popped into the housing when they were replacing it, and they didn't tell me. They just installed another one, and left that one sitting in the housing. They either think it's completely acceptable to drive around with a bulb bouncing around in the housing or they don't care enough to inform the customer. Mistakes happen, but you should at least be honest about it.I went to remove the installed bulb so I could fish out the loose bulb, but the bulb they installed popped right into the housing as soon as I twisted open the socket. I then spent an hour fishing out both bulbs from a quarter sized hole in the housing. It was obvious looking at the bulbs that they were not the correct ones because the notches on the bulb did not line up with the grooves in the socket. I drove back to Valvoline a second time to ask them for the correct bulb. They said they didn't have them which is why they installed the incorrect bulb. They said they thought it would fit. I asked for my old light bulb back (which was still good), but they had already thrown it out! I asked for a refund on the $6 bulb install, but the manager had left and they couldn't get a hold of him to sign off on the refund. The manager on shift later called me in the day to let me know he had approval, so I went back a third time to Valvoline to get my refund.To sum it all up, my brake light is still out, and now my turn signal light is also out. I went to the auto parts store to get a bulb, but it'll be a few days before they get one so now my wife has to drive without a functioning turn signal light.

Went in for an oil change and because my car was smelling like something was burning. They took a look at everything, explained the different oil types, and made honest recommendations on what should be changed. Overall a great experience and I would definitely take my vehicle here again.

Not happy got incorrectly charged for wiper blades in a previous visit. At that time, I was given a *literal* post-it note stating to give me $25 off my next visit, signed by a manager. Today, the staff honored the post-it note (with much discussion) but wouldn t stack it with my other $10 coupon. So I can t actually recoup my inaccurate charge along with a regular coupon. Will probably look elsewhere for oil changes with people willing to make right by a mistake on their part.Edit: Valvoline's corporate support fully took care of this issue in a quick and professional manner. All is good now!

The staff here is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I love how efficient they are and I don't have to blow my whole day waiting but quality is not compromised. I do find the prices a bit on the expensive side but it's worth it for me not to have to worry about my car. The couple of times I've had work done here, I noticed the difference instantly in my car's operation.

Normally easy and quick oil change service. They usually will recommend other maintenance issues that you can get worked on there. I got new wipers on a sale, and replaces air filters for a discount. The cabin air filter was really dirty and hard to get to do it was nice to have them take care of it for me.

Highly Recommend.... Amazing technicians and communicate with you through the whole oil change... Wipers were replaced but the next day one of them came off and they replaced it with a new one with no charge and fixed the issue. Will definitely be going to them for every oil change
