The service was ok the little guy doing was great until he git back ti tge office. He asked me whose name was in the card I was using and demanded I show my license. I will never use them again he does not nlknow anything about customer service started telling me about that the company was worth millions and my little trucking business don't mean much for them

We were recently on our way home when our vehicle suddenly broke down in Christiansburg, VA, an area we had never been in before.Total Car Care & Towing sent out a truck to tow our vehicle. The tow operator, Link, was the most personable and professional driver I have ever met. (I was a police officer for 30 years, so I have met many!)He helped to put my family's concerns at ease, imparted his knowledge/experience with the repair facility we had chosen, helped us to choose a close hotel, and even offered (even in rona-times) to transport us to the hotel (we wouldn't all fit, so we found other means). He was very careful in loading our vehicle, safely delivered it to the repair facility, and secured it properly. He was also very patient while waiting for us to go through our belonging and take out what we would be needing for the next several days.Total Car Care & Towing, and especially Link, couldn't have done a better job in my eyes. I highly recommend them if you find yourself in the area and in need of assistance.Service: Car towing

Alternator went out on a Sunday night on I-81. Called AAA and Total Car Care had us towed within an hour and took us to a hotel. Repaired alternator for a very reasonable price by noon the next day! Also picked us up at the hotel in the morning and took us to our car. Could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Came to the house to pick up a vehicle with a fuel pump issue assigned from AAA. Driver was courteous and quick to load and move HIS vehicle out of the way as he had to block traffic on our street. Drop off went well.

We were involved in a multi vehicle accident on 81 near Roanoke. Total handled the scene, and it was a lot of vehicles, with ease. They took care of the transport of vehicles, those involved in the accident and were exceptionally helpful in assisting us to control and maintain some delicate cargo. If I ever need a tow in Virginia Total will be the people I call. His crew reflect the owners dedication to service... great group of young men that made a difficult situation manageable. I can't thank them enough.

We just bought a car and had to get an alignment and try he first place we went too ripped us off for 35 bucks and lied about a broken part to manipulate me into getting work done. That shop was modern auto and total car care had my car aligned and out the door for 20$ cheeper than them and was transparent during the whole process thanks guys.

I broke down on 81 and called AAA. A very nice young man in a well maintain flatbed got me to the shop. Chris, the manager, got my car right in to the garage so we could assess the problem. It was a strut and tire. It was fixable but would take several days to get parts etc. He gave me expected costs. I decided to continue with my trip and leave my car to be worked on. The local Enterprise rental location was not helpful so Chris called another number got me a great deal on a rental and then had me and all my stuff taken over to Enterprise and got me back on the road. I had both struts and new front tires put on and felt the price was reasonable. The shop is clean and organized and very busy but they seem to handle it with good humor. When I picked up my car everything was ready. I then tested it by driving 4 hours at highway speed and everything was perfect. I am so thankful I broke down where I did and I am able to say what could have been a very bad experience was improved by finding kind people to help and honest people to fix the problems.I'd say I had a new mechanic but its a little too far from my home.Thank you again, Chris and Total Car Care, for everything.

Beware! Went in for an inspection. Mechanic refused to help correct a simple problem and lied about the belt that he had failed the inspection for. We were told the belt was installed incorrectly and was the wrong belt. When going back to our mechanic who installed the belt 10K miles ago, he corrected the belt in less than a minute and it was indeed the correct belt. If the belt had truly been on there wrong it would not have made it 10K miles without damage and it had none. Our suspicion is they created the problem to begin with in order to garnish more work. There would have been no other reason for them not to take less than a minute to fix the belt or lie about it being the wrong belt. Inspect your vehicles somewhere else or you may end up with an expensive repair bill for nothing.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Like others here, we broke down on I-81. Around midnight. Hundreds of miles between our origin and our destination. The two-man towing crew couldn't have been nicer and put the pickup on the flatbed and towed the trailer behind another truck. The shop did offer repair services, so they asked us if we wanted to be towed there, but there was NO pressure or hard sell whatever. Did some quick research and agreed. They not only towed us there, they checked to see if the local Quality Inn could take us in for the night (all the companies we usually use had no vacancies), and then they dropped us off there. The next morning, the mechanics got right on it, solved the problem (a sensor went bad), replaced the part, charged us a very reasonable amount, and we were on our way. Could have been a living nightmare but everything worked out very well. Props to the towing crew, the front desk guy, and the mechanics, particularly the Chevy guy who nailed the diagnostics.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Special vehicle towing, Car towing

This company was a saving grace for me. I was stranded on 81 north traveling from North Carolina to Pennsylvania when my car started overheating. For 2 hours I waited for AAA to send help. Total Car Care took care of everything including taking me to a hotel and picking me back up once the car was fixed. Thank you Total Car Care! I can't begin to express my gratitude for the amazing vehicle lockout service Total Car Care provided for me today. I spent so much time trying to find a locksmith help me into my car that my dog was trapped in until my sister recommended Total Car Care. Once they arrived to my car, they were able to unlock it within 5 minutes -- absolutely incredible and I'll be recommending them to friends and family.Thank you again!!!Service: Car lockouts

If you can afford to call these guys to tow your truck, make sure they don't pull the driveshaft apart at the SLIP JOINT and then put it back together 2 teeth off, out of time, so the u joints don't explode and the driveshaft smashes the transmission and fuel tanks.

My car broke down on the way home from Virginia and geico sent out this tow company to help. I am super impressed with the guy that came to help! Can t recall his name but he has been with your company a long time and was very experienced. Had the car on quickly, helped get the car seat in, was super sweet towards my 2 yr old son and made the 2 hour ride very pleasant. I'm a truck driver, I broke down on US 460 in Virginia Chris came out and tried to get me going. But, unfortunately that's not the case. He was so polite and helpful. He directed me to the nearest safe heaven. The next day Chris towed me to Freightliner in Roanoke, Virginia. He then dropped me off to the nearest hotel. Chris went above and beyond. I would give the a 10 star's if I could rate them that high

Had to get my project car towed when it died on my unexpectedly. AAA said the tow would take 2-3 hours. Wes from Total Car Care was able to get me towed within the hour. Excellent communication and an all around GREAT employee.

I locked my keys in my truck. The people who helped me were kind, knowledgeable and got my truck unlocked in no time. The price was extremely reasonable for the service performed. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs this service or any other car-related service they offer. I d give them 6 stars if I could.

Yesterday Total Car Care & Towing came out to help change my check my car battery and give me a jump. It ended up that my battery was dead and they made it incredibly easy to buy one they had in stock on them right there. The person who came out could not have been nicer and I really appreciate how helpful he was. I would recommend Total Car Care & Towing to anyone.Service: Battery

Our car went over the end of a culvert onto a bed of large rocks. The Total operator somehow managed to lift it off the rocks and onto his truck. I am amazed and grateful for his skills. I highly recommend this service.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Awesome.Altenator died 14 miles north of Christiansburg, Tow truck picked us up 1/2 hr after our call and we were back on the road in an hour and a half. Very nice people went out of their way to help us out. And the price was right.

The staff here are fabulous!!! Each and every one that I came in contact with went over the top to help my family!! My truck broke down on I-81 while pulling our camper. Of course it was closing time for the day but they took extra time to help us hook up the camper in the parking lot so we could camp there for the night as we waited for the truck to be fixed. We were so grateful! The next morning they diagnosed the truck and had us on the road in 3 hrs!! It could have been a miserable experience but they made it pleasant!
