It is first come, first served at this location. I only needed a state inspection and I could not be more impressed. The customer service was phenomenal. I was escorted to a comfortable waiting room while my vehicle was being inspected. It only took 30 minutes and it was done! The very nice lady who helped me walked me to the desk to pay and then back to my car. I really appreciated how efficient, organized, and friendly they all were. I could not recommend this place enough if you re needing a state inspection!Service: Vehicle Inspection

SHODDY OIL CHANGEI took my 2018 Tacoma in for its 20,000 mile service (including oil change). A few days after, while driving, I heard a rattling sound from the bottom of the truck. I crawled underneath to discover the skid plate bolts not only had not been tightened, but were cross-threaded, damaging the threads of the welded nuts on the skid plate bracket. This made re-tightening the skid plate impossible (it is currently loose). The photos show the weld nut threads damaged (silver threads).I discovered oil all over the skid plate, and oil dripping from a skid plate bolt. I now have to find out whether the drain plug was torqued properly, as well as proper installation of the o-rings, filter, and filter cap.I will also have to waste my time bringing the truck BACK in to verify something that should have been routine. Oil changes are the most basic maintenance for a vehicle, but apparently Shelor Express Service can't even train their technicians to FASTEN A BOLT PROPERLY.It's going to be an interesting discussion today...and I'll never be able to trust Shelor to do an oil change without sliding under my truck before driving away..."ToyotaCare" and Shelor "service" is a complete joke.I hope the service manager reads this!

If you are getting a state inspection here, definitely make a reservation and insist on it when you call them. I think I was there on a busy Monday morning, arriving around 7:50 AM. It took nearly 3 hours for a state inspection. The waiting area was nice and I got work done but never would have imagined waiting that long. It wasn't like this when I visited their original location last year. So, not sure what has changed with the Express Lane with it being integrated in a larger service operation. Bottom line, I highly recommend an appointment for a state inspection if that is all you need.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

They charged me $24 for their "free battery checkup", it says free on their website and they wouldn't refund it or discuss it. Took 4 hours for an oil change, they charged well over $100 for it, so cost for oil change and battery check was $131 and half a day. Pay it or you don't get your vehicle! I tried calling and emailing, got nothing. Awful!!And now the owner is saying they resolved this issue! NO, they haven't given me ANYthing back! Why would he say this??Services: Battery, Oil change

Edit- their guy came back and apologized for the wait and they made it right in the end. Better communication in the future, but the staff is really nice.Pros- free snacksCons - the 45 minute oil change took over an hour and a half.

Terrible experience. I went in for an oil change. About 15 minutes later, they came to me and said they found a nail in one of my tires. They wanted $45 to plug the hole. (I had this done somewhere else afterwards and paid $12). They also wanted $40 to CHECK to see if I needed an alignment, $100 for the alignment on top of that if I did need one. They said I needed a new cabin air filter (which I already had a new in the back of my trunk, just haven t put it in yet). When I got back into my car after paying $90 for just an oil change (no tire rotation), all of my belongings were in my floor board from my glove compartment. They dumped everything out into the floor when they took my cabin air filter out and did not put anything back. After a customer is paying that much for an oil change, you d think they would be adults and use their knowledge of put something back where you found it . Nope. Needless to say, I will never be back here. Terrible customer service and outrageous prices.Service: Oil change

Update2 by May 16:I guess they just want to physically-erase whoever honestly reflect their service in google map review. This place is totally joke. I required and paid extra to let them do a Rotate/balance on the time they tried to fix the damage that they did to my car before. Then just found out they inflated the tire pressure of my rear driver side wheel to 47Psi by yesterday (the driver s manual said the range for driving is 33-35psi). I thought it was because they want to balancing the car, for the safety concern I still called Toyota customer service. The customer service person told me immediately stop driving the car and readjust the pressure to normal range in case of any serious consequence.I m so glad that I found out the issue before I drive the car to highway during hot summer, or I would never be able to update the view here if the explosion happened.I thought the auto body shop held by local dealer should be a good alternative to fix any small car issue. But I was totally wrong and made two huge mistakes.Original post:I went here today to check the leaking problem of the tire. They told me it will cost 228$ before tax since they need to change the tire not repair it. I asked if it s the exact same new tire as my original Camry SE they told me yes. When I went back to retrieve my car, I found out they not only replaced an over one year old spared inventory tire, but also damaged my new car s tire ring. Besides that, the tire they changed is 94H not 94V as the original one. I really didn t expect that I pay 250$ for a damage ring and old tire. The left picture was taken right before I drove to sherlor express, the right one is what they did to my car.Update1 by May 9:Just updated the review to 3 stars from 1. The manager offered to fix rim and replace the tire. Wish they could do thing correctly at once in stead of trying to fix something afterwards.

My mom we t to get her 2020 Jeep Compass inspected and the people there were very nice. She didn't have to wait very long at all!

I had 2 oil services (on 2 different vehicles) done here on back-to-back days, the first day they put conventional oil in my Jeep when the paperwork clearly stated synthetic - they caught the error themselves and replaced the oil with synthetic but I ended up having to wait the time for 2 oil changes. Things happen, I understand, so the next day I bring my second Jeep to have an oil change and wait for over 2 hours despite getting there 10 minutes after they opened.I doubt I'll be going back - I've never had such terrible service here and I'll support my local small garage from here forward.Service: Oil change

Usually good experience but this time I was supposed to receive a call when work was complete and after 2 1/2 hrs went back and truck was sitting in front of building with work complete already, when I ask they forgot to callAfter writing this review I was contacted very quickly by a Shelor manager about my review and he was willing to do whatever it would take to make me happy, he was really serious about making things rite. We worked out a deal on our next oil change and made me completely happy. To be quite honest I probably should have never said anything about what happened cause I ve never had bad experiences with service people

I didn't have an appointment and was told it would be 2-3 hrs for a state inspection. Seeing I had my toddler with me, Nicki was very understanding and they got it done in just over 1.5 hours! Everyone was nice and professional and the waiting room was clean.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

I had to take my brand new Kia Seltos S back for them to check my vehicle out, don't know yet how that's going to go. But the rental they gave me to drive was disappointing to say the least, mind you I have a SUV and they put me in a sedan, not bad enough huh? I open the door on this car and it's so dirty and disgusting, agreement is that don't smoke in these rentals, but guess what it wreaks of smoke covered with some awful perfume. On a good note, Angel was very nice, she checked me in. Pray things go better going forward.

I went to MM Express to get my Camaro inspected, they said it had a twisted brake line and a bad side light bulb. They charged me 75 bucks to fix them both, but later I noticed they didn t even change the bulb. This is not the MM I expected, this is ridiculous and I have lost all respect for this place. They might as well just become a Ford Dealership.MM is dead to me!

Update: My most recent oil change was right before I went home for Christmas break. My car stalled on the way back and I took it to the mechanic back home. He said that the reason for stalling was because there was only 4 quarts of oil in the car when it should have had 7 quarts. Would not recommend taking any German cars there to get serviced.Oil change was fine. Definitelyon the pricier side for a full synthetic. Wouldn t go for any other services for my car. I asked for a bulb replacement and they said my headlights were fine. My bulb warning light is on and one of the right headlights is noticeably dimmer at night.Service: Oil change

The people on the phone are really nice, however, the time estimate is a complete lie. I was told my wheel alignment would take 1.5 hours. Instead I waited 3 hours for them to even look at my car and another 2 hours just to do the wheel alignment. I came in at 9am and didn t leave till 2.Secondly, they say they have snacks, when really they don t have anything except a dirty coffee pot, and cheap styrofoam cups. DO NOT plan on sitting in the waiting room unless you want to be stuck waiting here for 5+ hours.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Without a doubt the easiest, most friendly, maintenance I've ever had. I drove over an hour to come there and we'll continue to do it for every oil change. It's worth it.

Front desk is friendly. I ve never known them to be dishonest (which is rare around here- FYI never go to Firestone in Blacksburg)They didn t tighten the lug nuts on my front wheels today when I got a tire rotation and state inspection.

Pulling up to the place the service was great very nice and welcoming but watched my truck get inspected and watched a guy kick the bumper of my truck because my licences plate light was out. You do not kick someone's vehicle!! Then stood around and played on their phone for 5 minutes every 5 minutes and dragging feet. Inspection took a hour and a half and almost made me late for work when other state inspections take 30 minutes. Never coming here again and "express" lane is a joke.

Went in to have bolts replaced on my skid pan. Very friendly and helpful mechanic. They didn't have the right kind of bolts for my car so he strapped the plate in place with wire wraps and sent me on my way without charging me a thing! If I lived around here I would definitely come back for regular services.

They have a great setup for busy people. For routine maintenance, you are in and out in no time. Staff are eager to please. The waiting rooms are quite comfortable. If you need more extensive service, it's easy to schedule an appointment. And love working with Melanie B!! She explains issues well, gives me good options, and has my back. I know my Subaru is in good hands with them.

I drove 45 minutes to get my vehicle ( that I purchased at Shelor ) inspected and was told there were not enough inspectors to fit me in and to come back another day . I only drove that far because my inspection is free but with gas prices as high as they are I decided to take my vehicle to a local shop The mechanic who did my inspection asked who had put my tires on because they are directional tires and are on backwards!!! I purchased my vehicle from Shellor and had my tires rotated less than 6 months ago via the express lane so obviously Shelor put my tires on backwards . Went to have a tire replaced, which was ordered the week before. They informed me the tire would be delivered between 10a.m. and 12 a.m. that day. I get back at 11:30 a.m. the gentleman did a search for the tire I was shipped the week before, delivered to the wrong building. Got my vehicle in the shop quickly to rotate the tires and replace one. During the rotation the tech let the jack handle slam into the side of my vehicle. They call a gentleman to come and pull the dent out. I was never apologized to from a supervisor nor did the supervisor come to speak to me about the situation. Very poor service. I left the service station around 3 p.m. that day. From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a tire chage and rotation.

Almost 2.5 hours to get my oil changed. Never again. They weren't busy. It wasn't a weekend. No excuse. The worst thing was that no one even pretended to care. No apology, no explanation. This time, honestly, I'll remember how useless they are so that, in three years or so, I will not again give them another chance like I did today.

Courteous staff, no charge checking tire pressure due to weather change. Offer notice of upcoming needs. I was fairly sure Id need new tires soon and was given print outs of several choices with reasonable prices.

Waiting room is very bright & clean, and has plenty of space for social distancing. Mask mandate is being respected & all employees were wearing masks.Friendly & performed the vehicle inspection in the time estimated...about 45 minutes to an hour. A couple people were ahead of me in line.

I am new to the area and had been very stressed about where I was going to get my vehicles inspected. I found Shelor Mopar Express Lane. They took very good care of me. The service representative is very professional, answered my questions, and made me feel welcomed. Everyone is wearing their mask.Their waiting room is extremely clean. Social distancing seating is in place. I will be back for the other services I need.

I took my car to be serviced at this center for routine oil change on 8/17. The technicians said the oil change went well everything was great with the car.On 8/25 my oil light came back on. And I took the car to another local shop in Christainsburg because this service center is closed on Sunday. The cause of the leak was a damaged gasket that was placed on the car. The car had been slowly leaking oil for 7 days. Now the bottom of my car is covered in oil. And I ve had to pay for 2 full synthetic oil changes in less than 7 days.I am severely disappointed in the service I received from shelor on 8/17.
