Lady truck driver review. Plenty of parking dirt mostly but not bad. I've seen worse. Food was OK. I got the ribs on Friday night last ones, so they were a bit dry. Probably better if I came earlier. My puppy loved his burger (thank you). Shower was a bit small but extra extra hot (loved that) could use a place bigger than the small chair in there for a lady to put her bag on. Cashiers were amazing as hell. (Loved them). Restaurant dudes were awesome as well. Will definitely put on my places for truck parking.

This is not one of the fancier truck stops but the service is wonderful and the grill has amazing food for low prices. The truck parking is sufficient but on gravel. Store is open 24 hours and the grill is 5am to 11pm.

Good place to stop. Good food, friendly folks. Taco salad on tuesdays. BBQ ribs on fridays. Good parking

As a truck driver it s difficult to impress me with food because for the most part it s all the same but this location s food was absolutely amazing and made exactly how I asked and everything is priced fairly the lot is gravel but not a big deal just drive slow lol

Great Little truck stop! Love this place! People are nice and friendly. Place clean and has a lot snacks and drinks. Love their Little River Grill Cafe!!! They have delicious food!!!

Got a couple of egg sandwiches. Nice folks working the grill, good amount of truck parking. Parked here before delivering to Kroger in Salem, VA.

We are pulling our RV so need to stop at truck stops. This one is on the small side but had plenty of room for us to get diesel in the truck lanes. The store isn't fancy but had restrooms and lots of snacks. The BBQ smelled so good but we didn't get to try it this time!

Has sunoco brand race fuels. Only one I know of local to roanoke anymore. (Seasonal) limited quantities out of season.

We stoped for The BP station, for fuel for our smaller vehicle we were in. There were decent pumps for the smaller vehicles that were fairly clean. The washer/wiper squeegee probably needs replacing. And one pump was out of action. But it wasn't bad.The tractor Trailers had a decent area to park. But it looked like it was a dirt surface. Not the end of the world, but not as nice as most TA's, Loves or Flying J/ Pilots, etc. But sometimes these smaller places can be quite good. Unfortunately, we didn't go inside to sample to food. So I will not comment on it. But it seemed like a decent place, abet smaller. I gave them four stars because I have a feeling that they are not bad at all. What I had seen gave me a good feeling for the Radford travel center.

Closed restrooms for a long time. When I asked about it I was told they are waiting for the floor to dry. Then had to ask about it again and then given permission to defecate into a toilet instead of my shorts. Waiting for the floor to dry? Really? Because the floor was disgusting!!! I'll post photos. There was an empty toilet paper roll on top of the toilet paper dispenser after being cleaned? In one of them there is a wad of toilet paper on the floor next to a water bottle cap, right after a cleaning huh? Then the corners and baseboards all around the bathroom look like they haven't been cleaned in 30 years. The trim going around to doors is filthy at the bottom from using a disgusting old mop and mop water thats as old as the building. Buy a new mop and change that stinking water sitting by the door. THIS is why mom and pop shops fail! Cleanliness is very important! If I come back I will use your lot for parking and I wont even bother coming inside. I will use my travel toilet.

A little hidden gem! Little River Cafe is amazing, great staff delicious food with homemade desserts! Philly Steak sandwich and onion rings YUMMMMMMY!!!! Add this place to your stops! Enjoy!!!

This truck stop isn t too bad. I was there a week ago. Parking is good. I had ordered food from their restaurant area and the food was pretty good. The cooks seemed slightly miserable but were probably a little overwhelmed since there was about 7 people including me ordering. The cashier was friendly but she let 1 of her regulars jump in front of me and another trucker and I overheard her telling him that her regulars come 1st. Overall, it s not a bad place to stay or eat. Don t know about the bathroom or shower. I didn t use either one

So woke up early so I could get something to eat and drink because there sign said they were closing at 9pm. Walked up at 8:48 and was told we re closed . When I said it wasn t even 9; I was told we wanted to close early and I said; can I at least buy something to drink . Was told we are closed go away . I ve e been stopping here for 15 years and never been treated in such a way. Guess they don t care about drivers anymore. And yes that picture shows 8:58 only because I had to walk back to my truck and get my phone.

Surprised to find a grill in this convenience store. I enjoyed the Friday special: 4 meaty BBQ pork ribs, tasty baked beans, and a fresh biscuit for $9.99. The people in the store and at the grill were cheerful and helpful The restrooms were clean.

Great experience here. Stopped here after a long day on the road to get some rest. They have a decent area for parking. Not huge, but sufficient since it seems like a lot truckers completely overlook this place. Only complaint is I wish they had laundry. I am headed home tomorrow and wish I could have done it before I went home. But no big deal. I would rather spend my money at a small place like this than a mega truck stop. The little diner inside is great. The food was delicious and nicely priced and the employees were friendly. I had the BBQ. Good choice. I will definitely return here. A new favorite. Update because of the excellent service I got this Saturday morning 11-11-2017. I did not catch the gentleman's name, but your front cashier was awesome. I had gone to the grill to order a steak biscuit for breakfast. I was walking around the drink section looking for apple juice but the juice section needed restocking. He offered to help and went to the back and found an apple juice for me. While it was not cold, he gave me a cup of ice which made up for it. Bigger guy with tattoos on his arms if management wants to recognize this awesome customer service, which is very rare for a trucker out on the road these days. I will most definitely be stopping through here as I 81 is almost always my route home. Thank you guys for restoring some of my faith in humanity. One more side note. The bathrooms were closed for cleaning at least twice while I was here. That is awesome. I have been to pilots that look like they have gone weeks.

The workers were polite and friendly and the food was spectacular! Philly cheesesteak was fantastic as was the cheeseburger. If you like hot wings, they have them hot! It was so worth smelling like grease when we left. Don't be frightened off by the outside. It was definitely worth the gamble in stopping.

Was here for 2 days, food was good at The Little River Grill. Shower was small and they do not provide towels for $7.00. When I was getting ready to leave went to put garbage in dumpster, just happened to catch the girl as she unlocked it, asked if it would be okay to chunk my trash in the dumpster and was told not really they barely had room for there own trash. As I had been there for 2 days it was garbage from there. Good place for a quick stop for something to eat but for an extended stay, I would advise going the extra miles to Pilot.

Today the Travel Center is having a Customer Appreciation Day with free BBQ Sliders, tiny bottles of Coke products, fountain and coffee drinks, and some vendors set up outside giving away things. It was great fun.When I'm in my truck, it is a fine 24 hour stop with a restaurant that has excellent food all the time. Can't go wrong spending the night or a break here.

Have always heard that the food at truck stops was well worth it. This one was the best kept secret in the world. Everything is cooked to order and with plenty of humor and smiles. Richard is great. Best Hamburger that has ever passed by my lips and a truck load of french fries. For those of you who want breakfast, please try the sausage gravy biscuits. Don't worry about what the place looks like, worry about how full you feel when you leave. Prices are great. NOTE: for all who pass by on I-81 and don't stop it is truly your loss.

I wouldn't have known about this place if not for the truckers path app. Glad I did though, service was great the food hit the spot restrooms and showers were fine and half the cost. Huge variety of beverages including beer. I'm a fan of the mom and pop truck stops , normally way friendlier people and the drivers that normally hang out at these places are the ones with manners and good conversations!

Small place, hard to get, off the beaten path. Not very clean inside. Men's bathroom is disgusting, as soon as you open the door, the stench is overwhelming. Urinals were all extremely dirty, didn't bother with the stalls, or using the bathroom at all. Ended up peeing in a bottle in my truck.They do have a little dive restaurant inside. I got breakfast, three eggs, wheat toast, sausage and bacon. The food was very good but I recommend eating it in your vehicle. Unfortunate for me, I chose to sit at one of the four tables inside and you constantly have people walking past you. The tables are in the middle of the room, in between an outside door and the cash register.The people here are friendly enough bit I still give this place only one star due to the sanitary deficiency.

Awsome lil place 20/25 parking spaces really clean nice folks foods good and too expensive. Parking is free for 24 hrs and then they charge . I really like this place def coming back!!!

If you every traveling in this area and want hot home. Trust its on the MONEY.... The beef tips was melt in your mouth program. The cheese steak sub was on the money too. Please dont miss out. I was there to work and i was surprised by the warm welcoming. Kind hearted

Got a chicken Philly I would say it it was a 9 out of 10. French fries delicious food was hot and fresh. When you pull up you look at the place and you might want to turn around don't do it. Great people great prices got a place you can sit down and watch TV. A ton of locals coming here and picking up food. It was my first time here and I will definitely come again. Crete trucker

My fiance is a truck driver and stopped here for his 10 hours. He was hoping to get a shower based on the website for this truck stop. No showers to be found AND he said they were so rude to him. Only good thing was he had a place to park thank goodness. 81 in lower VA is far and few between as far as truck stops go. And the kicker is...its Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Come on Radford...get it right.
