I purchased a 2024 Honda civic sport after a week of looking. Luke Stowers was a great great help, responded promptly, and listened to my concerns. He made himself available to help. Brian and Luke made this an easy purchase and I wasn t there for 30 minutes. They did everything they said they would. Very professional and stress free experience. We will be back to see Luke in the future.

All I can say is WOW!! Best experience I ve ever had buying a vehicle. Justin and Luke took good care of me, and I didn t have any issues. Was my first experience buying at a fixed price no haggle dealership, but that is the only way to go. I shopped around and what took me two days negotiating price out of the other dealers, these guys came out of the gate with within $20. If you are looking like I was, give these guys a shot at earning your business. -Scott

Drove 8 hours round trip to buy a used vehicle we found at Duncan. Jim and the staff were very helpful throughout the process, and a small problem we found shortly after we got home was addressed fully by Jim and Mike. Would highly recommend them for your next purchase. Love the truck!

We had an exceptional experience with Duncan Honda. Luke Stowers and Brian Olson were amazing to work with. The hassle free sales and negotiating were not only refreshing, but also the reason we ultimately decided to drive over 70 miles to purchase our new Honda CR-V. Luke answered all of our questions and responded in a timely manner both by email and text. He was willing to look at different vehicles, pricing options and financing. The car and paperwork that we were interested in were ready and waiting when we arrived, making the purchasing process efficient and convenient. This was the best car buying experience my husband and I have ever had. We HIGHLY recommend and will be repeat customers.

We purchased our daughter a college student a 2019 Honda accord hybrid for college. We did not purchase from this dealership. Recently her break lights started coming on when she was not breaking as well as lights in her dash. She took it there and they told her it was an electrical part that needed to be ordered and install and that should solve her problem. After paying them $400.00 to fix it a week and a half later the car is doing the same thing. In stead of them trying to get it right this time they tried to charge her another $400.00. Not to mention she washed her car before she took it there but when she got her car back one of a back lights were broken and they tried to say that could be the cause of the problem. I read the reviews and just knew they would be good. I told my daughter never to take her car back to that dealership, if she had to drive a little further then do so. They don t stand behind their work and we all own Honda but never had such horrible experience with a Honda dealership. I guess we re not the right color to experience exceptional service.

I know the Duncan Hookie Honda Service Department is exceptional! I've been taking my Honda's there exclusively and getting the best service every time. I recently had a flat tire incident and they very creatively got my challenge resolved! Kudos to everyone there!!

I bought a Honda HRV 2024 from Duncan's. I am very impressed with everyone I have dealt with in Duncan's. Jon (Sales) was patient and walked me through the various features of HR-V. Not a pushy salesperson :)Unfortunately, the car had a flat Tyre in the 1st week. General Manager Greg & Jay from the maintenance Team took care of it completely without any cost! They arranged a loner car. Great follow-up and Excellent service. I highly recommend Duncan's Hokie Honda! Thank you, Greg,Jon,Jay for your help!

The last time I went there for an appointment for an oil change and inspection, and they forgot I was in the waiting area waiting and didn t get to my car for a very long time. This LAST time I showed up for an oil change and they had no technicians there to do oil changes (yet you can t make an appointment for an oil change). Not going back for a third attempt to do business with them.

Great experience buying a new CRV. I only had a couple hours in the middle of the day to take care of this. I said this up front to the salesman we met, and he got us out of there 45 minutes earlier than the time I'd given! No pressure, very smooth process, Luke was fantastic ... highly recommend!

Considered a Civic and spoke to a salesman who chose to add "security stickers" and not disclose that it was optional when presenting a trade offer. Then I dealt with another condescending sales person who said there's a difference between trade in value and retail value. Thanks for stating the obvious and assuming I didn't know the basic premise of how a dealer makes money. I purchased a couple vehicles from them in years past with more respectful and ethical sales people. My experience with Shelor was leaps and bounds better than dealing with Duncan.

Had an appointment at 12:45, pulled up to the bay and waited as there was a car already in the bay. Waited 15 minutes and a woman pulled up behind me. They waived her in around me and never acknowledged me. Have had other issues with customer service here in the past. This was the last straw for me and will never be going back.

I want to take a moment and say thank you to Service Advisor Brandon. My wife and i truly appreciate the effort put forth to get, my wife's vehicle back in such a timely manner.I explained our situation to Brandon and without hesitation, he said he would take care of it and what time was appropriate for us. Again i state he was busy and so was their service department.But as stated without hesitation, he listened and understood our situation and took care of the service needed on my wife's car.Its always important to note that though i have been having our cars service at this location for over 2 years.Some repairs minor some large, i have always appreciated the honesty and upfront demeanor of Brandon, Jay , Tori.My repairs have always been done correctly and if any issues arise ,they have been upfront and honest.Again some repairs have been more expensive than others. But i feel the price is always fair in my personal opinion.So thank you to Service Advisor Brandon, and others such as Jay and Tori and to mechanics who have fixed our vehicles in the past.This is my humble and honest review based on my most recent experience.

Just inquiring about a new vehicle. Built the car on Honda's site and sent to Hokie Honda to request an estimate. First I was contacted by a salesman through text that sent me a link to a car on their lot. It wasn't even close to what what I requested a quote on. After replying back stating that wasn't what I was looking for I received a very passive aggressiveness, rude, demeaning response. This was my first encounter with this dealership and it will be my last.When mentioned it wasn't the car I had requested quote on through Honda's site the response I recieved from Ethan Struder was "Well, you will have to look for either the SI or type R quite frankly and we do not do custom orders."Response I received from Ethan Struder "I understand, when you do your proper research you will see dealerships receive MAYBE one a year that is not an SI or a Type R that is manual and dealerships rarely receive those as well. I hope you find what you are looking for and it all works out! Happy New Year!"I'm sure dealership will respond with something stating they did nothing wrong. However, doesn't negate the rudeness/passive aggressiveness and sending me a link to a car that wasn't even close to what I was looking for. It's tough getting called out on something. Treat your customers with respect, I was just inquiring about a car.

I went in talked to Mike about getting a used car he got the cars for me let me test drive them was very professional and not pushy at all he didn t push either car onto me and let choose the 1 I wanted the most and when it came down to paper we was in and out with the car. My husband and I had a great experience purchasing our car from here as we have always had Honda cars and back where we are from in Illinois we loved our Honda dealership. However the service department here is greatly lacking. About after a month of purchasing our car we had a problem with our gas tank and could not get the latch to open. Unfortunately we realized this when we we were almost empty and on our way to the airport to pick up my mother so we had to go home and get another car till we could get ours fixed. If you re trying to reach anyone in the service department good luck trying to reach anybody. Second off after we brought our car in and went to pick it up we realized there were still problems with our car that had nothing to do with us and the service department just not making sure they finished the job well. After the job still not getting done and having to bring the car back for a third time my husband and I were pretty upset so we reached out to the manger of the service department who then proceeded to call my husband and tell him that they would come pick our car up for us and even give us a rental since we were pretty upset having to constantly bring our car in. He said they would do all this and to just let them know what day worked best for them. We went on vacation and needed our van so we decided to call them once we got back. Well when we did that nobody had any clue as to what we were talking about and even proceeded to be not so kind about it. Saying they don t offer rentals and no one would come pick it up and that we would have to come bring it in ourselves which was fine but we asked of one thing and that was to get updates on our car since they go days without letting us know anything. They seemed to be understanding of that and said they would since they could tell we were frustrated. Well almost a week goes by and we hear nothing. So I decided to call the service department and I left a voice message with my phone number and name asking to speak to the manager. About a hour later someone who I won t name proceeded to call my husband instead of me and he was not the manager just the person working on our car and let my husband know with an attitude that the problem with the van car door was that the child lock was on. So it took them almost a week to realize it was just the child lock that they put on the door because we never did that as there s no need and nobody ever called me just my husband. I m sure the manager never heard my voicemail and if he did and didn t reach out so that just goes to show they have no regard for anyone. There were a lot more problems with the service department that I won t get into and I will not name any names to be respectful but my husband and I had been pretty reasonable and understanding for the most part of everything and I hate to leave a bad review but we can t seem to get ahold of anyone who seems to care that their service department is greatly greatly lacking. Most people would not be okay having to constantly bring in their new van to get it fixed and be without their family van for days. Not to mention that us having to bring it in had nothing to do on our part. You would think they would be more understanding of our frustration as we were understanding that they may be short staff and not have what most Honda dealerships can offer. Very disappointing and we are going to do our best to never have to bring our car back here again.

Found the car I wanted last night. Spoke with Alan B. And sent in some minor paperwork and filled out their online financing app.. rented a car and drove two hours to pick up my car. I expected to be there half the day.. nope.. walked in at 11:00am and walked out with the keys 11:35am no joke! I am still in awe of the experience. This no haggle pricing is the bomb! And to show you how solid the team at Duncan Honda is.. they even helped me drop off my rental and sent me home with Honda swag!Thank you Alan and Duncan Honda for making buying a car fun!

Bud Merrill our Salesperson was such a pleasure to work with he never made us feel pressured. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the Honda CRV Touring we purchased. He went over the operations of the car with me a couple of times to make sure I was comfortable. The staff worked to get our paperwork done in a timely matter which we greatly appreciated. The pricing of the new car and trade in value given for our old car was more than fair. We were overall very pleased it was possibly the best car purchasing experience we have ever had and we have bought a lot of vehicles. Thank you Bud and Duncan Hokie Honda we love our new car!

I dropped my Honda off at Duncan Hokie Honda for a State Inspection. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lane Manager Brandon Brusseau. We have always received proffesional and courteous service, the day of my inspection was no exception. I was expecting to get a late afternoon call to pick up my vehicle, I was very surprised when I received an early afternoon call. Our experience with Duncan Honda has always been a pleasant and positive one. Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently bought a vehicle from Duncan Hyundai and were extremely pleased. We bought a vehicle, decided it wasn t for us. The next day, we took it back and traded it in on another vehicle. The salesman, Jose, even came in earlier on the second day to accommodate us. His customer service was excellent. I felt like they had my best interest in mind! We did not feel pressured to buy, but we were happy to. We definitely recommend working with Jose and Duncan Hyundai has earned our business for future purchases!

This review is in no way a reflection of the staff working. However, it is a reflection of poor management within the service department. I recently moved to the region and this was my first, and probably last, trip to Duncan Honda. I called to make an appointment on June 10th for service. No one would answer the phone in the service department after calling multiple times. I received a text message from someone and had to ask them to give me a call multiple times. I was finally able to speak with someone to make an appointment for July 1st for an inspection sticker, oil change, tire rotation, and new wiper blades (very basic service).My appointment was for 8:30 a.m. and I arrived around 8:20-8:25. I told them that I would be running some errands and to call me when the service was completed. There was no communication that my vehicles service would not start right at that time. After killing some time and not hearing from anyone, I returned around 11:00 a.m. I waited while they checked on my vehicle. I was told that it wasn't done and to return at 11:45 a.m. I asked why it wasn't done in 2.5 hours and this is when I was notified that even if you made an appointment and you do not wait there for your vehicle others who come in and wait have priority! I was never told this when I made the appointment or when I dropped it off. I returned at 11:45 and it was not finished...I waited. At 12:10 p.m. I was done and told them to stop what they were doing and to bring my vehicle around. I never imagined it taking half a day to complete these simple service tasks. I do appreciate the free tire rotation. There was no sticker placed inside the windshield to remind me when the next oil change should take place. I requested an update on brake pad wear and received nothing. No multipoint inspection videos like other dealerships text to you.Duncan Honda has a lot of work to do. I purchased my vehicle from Honda Morristown (TN) and had it serviced at Honda Kingsport. Both of these dealerships definitely exceeded my expectations and set the bar high each time I was there. Their superb customer service is something that Duncan should strive for. If I purchase a Honda in the future, it probably won t be from Duncan.

We ve been extremely pleased with both sales and service at Duncan Honda since purchasing our Odyssey van in 2019. The vehicle has been nearly flawless, and Tori in the service department runs a tight ship. She moves fast and explains everything clearly and concisely. Very professional. The Duncan dealerships all have a good reputation, and excellent service is just one reason why.

Edited to add: They sent me reimbursement.I am not one to leave bad reviews, but I feel the need to let people know the experience I have had with Duncan Service (not sales).I had an inspection done at Duncan. It is an older vehicle and failed inspection. They put in the parts needed - no big deal. I did have to call to see if it was ready which was annoying, but it happens. That is not why the review is one star.For about a week, I drove rarely and if I did it was just a few miles from home. I had to head to Pennsylvania a week after the inspection and on I-81 outside of Staunton, I noticed the AC getting warmer. I looked down and saw the engine was hot on the indicator. I pulled over and saw steam coming from under the hood. The VDOT emergency vehicle and a tow company came by and said the radiator cap had blown off. It had not been screwed on tight. No one had been under the hood of the van since I had it serviced at Duncan. Fortunately I caught it early enough that no damage was done. Two hours and $175 later, I was back on the road with no issues.I called Duncan Service and was asked by their automated service if they could text me. They did immediately and the exchange is added here. No one has reached out to me since.I had a similar experience in March 2022 with an oil change. By the time I got home from the shop, smoke was coming from under the hood and the van would not start. We checked and found no oil, but to be fair, we were checking it on a hill, so maybe that was why we didn't see oil. We had it towed to the shop where they said there was oil in it and the smoke was from the oil spilled on the engine.This is the last time I will deal with Duncan Honda. I only went there because I needed specific Honda work done on something else. I will stick with my regular, reliable mechanic from now on.

It was my first time at the dealership; I went in for a tires installation and Mr. Nguyen was super helpful and friendly. He thoroughly explained the issues of the car and was extremely pleasant to speak with. Overall great customer service from everyone in the team.

Shop was amazing. Dropped my van off this morning with no appointment, and not only did I get it looked at same day, but I had parts in and installed for my original problem (air conditioning compressor) but they also handled a secondary problem as well (van door) all before 5:00 p.m. While nobody loves paying to fix an old vehicle, repair price didn't seem exorbitant. Duncan really came through in a big way for us since our time is precious. Thanks guys!!

I have gone to this Honda Dealership multiple times since moving to Blacksburg in August 2020. My Honda Accord reached 200,000 miles in January 2021, so I first went for that service which entails replacing the timing belt and spark plugs, as well as an oil change. The service advisor, Brandon, was very professional and answered all my questions about the service. I was given a quote before the service began and was even given the oil change for free due to the high cost of the timing belt replacement. Brandon also offered a free 30-point inspection which was greatly appreciated cause my vehicle hadn t been serviced for around a year prior to this. My vehicle was ready the very next day and worked very well.The following month, the battery light on my dashboard illuminated, so I went back to have this repaired. Brandon was my service advisor this time as well and took my vehicle despite me not having an appointment. The mechanic called a couple hours later and said the alternator wasn t charging and needed to be replaced. They offered both a genuine and aftermarket part and explained the cost difference well. I went with the genuine one for longevity (the alternator being replaced was original, over 200K miles is fantastic for an alternator), and despite them not having it in stock, my car was ready the next day. The problem was resolved and my car worked just like it was new. The turnaround times here are absolutely fantastic.I went several times after that in 2022 just for basic maintenance. The price for an oil change here is fantastic, around $10 lower than most other shops in town for full synthetic. They perform oil changes and tire rotations while you wait and are always fast and thorough.Today (February 2023) I returned for a service appointment after my brakes began vibrating when using them at high speeds. The air filter box in my engine was also cracked and needed replacing. They were able to order the difficult to find part (I had tried to get it elsewhere and couldn t) and the brake job was finished in around an hour. Front rotors and pads needed replacing.Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough for service and I cannot thank Service Advisor Brandon enough for his help and kindness. I highly recommend requesting him for your services here. I will be returning for all my vehicle s needs.

I told the sales person I was a cash customer to try and reduce any complication for him getting numbers and simply asked for a range a value on my trade-in, and my out the door price on a Hyundai palisade.The evening of the following day, I got a message from him telling me how busy he was and 24 hours later still no communication. I would not recommend letting these people waste your time.

Working in the Car dealership setting for many years, I know (or thought I knew) the process in buying a car. I've seen people upset at the number of hours they spent sitting in a dealership waiting to purchase a vehicle. This REALLY was the EASIEST and QUICKEST purchase we have EVER made!! Greg Shortridge and Chris made this the most pleasant and friendly experience we have ever had. We didn't sit in a finance office with products being pushed at us, everything was presented on an Ipad and we simply clicked the items we were interested in.
