I had the occasion to visit Advance Auto when I called I was kind of at odds. I bought the battery else worst. They could not remove the battery I called another place they wanted 69 + to remove it. And another place they wanted 15 which is very reasonable. And just sitting there I thought will let me call Advance and they said well I don't know what I can do but I'll look at it and I thought well that's extremely reasonable. I drove up there, they looked at it and not only did they take it out and put the new one in my signal light went out when I was turning in to advance. They were so nice if I had asked they may have replaced it I don't know but I didn't ask they offered for me to go in and sit cuz it's too hot to be outside. One guy said come in you come in he got me a chair he kind of remind me of Johnny Cash it was all in black they went above and beyond they were very nice they made me made me feel so welcome you know I really don't like going in Auto places I thank you thank you they made me feel so welcome All the guys super nice (Aka)John stood and talk with me. Sorry guys I didn't get names you all 3 are super

Bought 5 items guy who was behind the counter didn't even ask if I needed a bag just went on about how he loved the smell of sea water. Take care of the customer in front of you before talking to your friends. The store itself is fine.

Manager Christian deserves a shout out for excellent customer service. Christian professionally and efficiently fixed a defective issue. Defects happen sometimes but how it was handled was above and beyond. Thank you! We ll definitely use this location again because of the customer service despite being closer to other locations.

They were pretty, damn helpful. I didn't have any problems with the people working there,I think it's a long wait time but that's very atypical nowadays with covid and all the problems that's causing.

Staff is consistently rude and not helpful. The last time we visited, we approached the counter and the manager was on the phone, he stated you re going to have to wait a minute We were not being impatient or rude. When he got of the phone he said, with and attitude, what do you want. On several occasions with several different employees we have had an issue with staff being rude. (Christiansburg VA location) O Reillys is our go-to place now, they always great you with a smile, even if they re overwhelmed with calls and customers!

Thank you for Saving my trip...Driving through from Connecticut to Tennessee... I had major car problems. The crank shaft seal on my 2001 Volvo V70 xc decided to let go... The young man that helped me Saved My trip... Not only did they have the parts I needed. The other near by Auto parts stores didn't even have... The young man helped me out with loaner tools to do the job. Having to do a repair of this kind on the road wasn't easy. But I would not have been able to do it at all if it wasn't for his help. After working on the car till dark. I got a motel and was able to resume my journey in the morning.I stopped in to thank the young man. I was disappointed that he wasn't there.I hope he sees this. Thank you Very Much ... You deserve a pay raise for not only be so helpful and knowledgeable.. but also considerate going beyond just selling me a handful of parts. But going out of your way to make sure I able to fix my car.

Good go to place when I need a part but I've had problems with them not calling me when my door handle came in. So when I finally called them to ask they said they had it sent back because they had had it for a few days so I had to wait another week or so just for a new one. I said ok then whatever I still need it. And when I had the handle put on it wouldn't work right until I'm guessing it finally broke in month and months later of head having to open the door from the inside anytime anyone needed to get in which was daily multiple times a day!!!

This received 3 stars for the fact that one bad apple will not ruin the bunch. Customer service today was unusually horrible. Spoke to employee named Z on the phone and he was utterly rude, to the point where I have made the decision to take my business elsewhere. While this was the only place where I would get my parts and auto needs. This interaction was one for me that made my decision easier.

My wife and mother in law just went in thinking they needed transmission fluid and they said she didn't need it but needed oil. Instead of selling her regular oil required, they sold her Lucas oil treatment (at a $5 price difference) without asking what was in it. I already had oil treatment so now its got too much. Why not tell women the truth Instead of upselling because you think they are ignorant.

It's one of the better chain parts stores, it usually has what you need and they get to you pretty quick even though the store always seems understaffed. I wish they had a better selection of better quality tools, and maybe larger tool boxes than what they carry. But then it is a parts store.....

My daughter bought a 3yr battery. After 3 months she had to jump it every time she left. Then it wouldn't jump anymore. Had to call for a tow to garage. They checked everything and it was the battery it was dead. She took battery back advance told her there was nothing wrong with the battery and wouldn't give her money back. We don't buy anything from advance for this reason so now she has learned the hard way.

Nice place to get what you need. They have a great staff and you can get wipers,tire rims,tire lugs, tire cleaner, cloth, stickers,mats license plate covers, bug cleaner, self work manuals, Happy staff great place in Christiansburg I am trying to find as many words as possible get 200 word review. They have tools that they will let you use to work on your car. Some of the staff will even do the work for you. They will change light balls and windshield wipers and shake your battery for free. They can also check to see if your alternator is faulty. I have been able to use them to order replacement taillights for a suburban. Thankfully they open early in the morning and they close at 9 o'clock at night. I have also bought headlight restore ration kits and they have worked very well by the recommendation of one of the employees. I've also bought Cos the clean and work on my car at the office sell soda baseball hats stereo coverage mats for your car - covers batteries and anything else that you can think of.Hopefully I'm approaching the 200 word limit. At this time I do not have any photos of this building or of the inside. The good place to go get some random tools like something the change out the surcantine bell some kind of tool care in anything else minor to recharge or air Conditioner etc.Depending on the time of day they can get to be very busy usually morning is good.

I was there earlier today and the employee working with me was so helpful! I have a brand new car that had a malfunctioning AC and whose instrument cluster had switched to Italian, and the dealership refused to help me because it was a Saturday. I went to AAP and the guy helping me out suggested I take the car home and disconnect the negative battery lead for half an hour. I did this and the car is 100% back to normal! I am so thankful for this simple suggestion that actually helped.

Wasnt treated very nice by the salesman plus I looked up a part on my phone so I would know about how much it cost it said it was $9.99 he rang it up and said it was 17.99 he told me that the prices were not always right on the web site, at the time I had to have the part the salesman said oh well he could have helped me but didn't real bad customer satisfaction its only $8.00 its not my fault,I even showed him HE DIDN'T CARE !!!

As a female, it is a very nice to visit a car parts store , and not feel some what out of place. I am NOT an expert on automobiles. I just bought a new car, and some accessories seat covers, advice on cleaning and caring for my new vehicle.the associates help me to install a replacement headlight on my older vehicle , tightened up my windshield wiper blades, and have taught me how to replace refrigerant. In my air conditioning.I understand they have a loaner tool program. that sounds intriguing , and something I would be very interested in at some point.

Needed a jump (thx Campus Auto) after vacuuming out my car for apparently too long for my 6 year old car to handle. Guy from Campus Auto came out through AAA, said my battery was the standard factory model and likely the original. I bought the car used 2 years ago, so hmm. Guy also recommended I quick go buy a battery from Advanced Auto Parts directly and they would install it for free!! (nice) Rather than a shop, pay for labor, markup on battery, etc... Handy tip.Advanced Auto Parts gentlemen were extremely helpful. It took about one minute to figure out what battery i needed, what my choices were, and what option was best for me. They even found me a coupon and saved me THIRTY BUCKS ON MY BATTERY!!(i actually just moved 5 minutes from the Advanced Auto Parts in Blacksburg but i didnt realize that and drove to this one in Christiansburg. I will likely drive back down to this one though.)

Limped into parking lot before they could have coffee. Guages went haywire. Ran for codes.tested battery and alt. All great. So fuse hunting time. Found the fuse that shorted but bigger problem. Any they let me go in out, replace merchandise with receipt, and we genuinely happy to help. Advance has the stuff but with people like that helping motorist, huge edge over competition. Broke down on new years day.. Idle pully blew apart, limped the vehicle to the next exit.. Arrived at Advance auto parts and I couldn't believe how amazing they were!! Chris, Cody and Missie provided me with the best service I've ever received from any establishment!! They got me the part I needed, walked me through replacing it, and even called a mechanic who was closed for the day to come and check that it was done correctly!! I'm extremely greatful for the service they provided me and my family in our time of need..

The staff in the Christiansburg store make the difference, they aren't just willing to help but volunteer to help! If I have a complaint it's that there is some inconsistency in the inventory. Thanks guys, we appreciate ya!

Can always get what I need within a day or two.Joe Sackmann is the man . Knowledgeable, can actually work on cars so he usually knows what you are needing (and where to source it from) rght from the get go and offers good budget conscious advice sellingnyou the level of part you need without trying to oversell you; while ensuring you get what you need and paid for.
