The overweight redheaded guy with glasses that works here is rude and for some reason likes to fail people for inspection stickers for no reason. One example is today...the older guy, Gary, was going to pass us. Literally asked for the registration and everything. Fat ginger comes in and stops him, glances at our front tire and says we need brake pads. Wouldn't give us a sticker. We immediately went to a mechanic right afterwards and they said the brake pads were fine. This guy needs to be fired. We aren't the only ones who have had issues like this. Will NEVER return to this place.

Worst place ever. Gary Heninger is a nice trustworthy guy but the young fellow he has working for him rejected my inspection, said I needed to have my rear suspension welded due to rust. So I went out of my way and bought a new part and had someone look at my car to estimate how much he would charge to put it on and I was told, there was nothing wrong with my car and there was no reason my car should have failed inspection. I will definitely never go back there again.

Do not use this shop. Took vehicle up to be inspected and was told what it needed to pass. Had all the work that they said it needed done and took it back to be inspected and they said that it needed ball joints which had already been done less than 20,000 miles ago. This should have been told to us on the first trip. Will never use them again. Update: just took to another shop, had them specifically check both ball joints and they said they are like brand new. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dishonest and crooked.

I was under the impression that i was reviewing the Shell gas station in Chilhowie until I took a closer look. I suppose this is for the little shop beside the gas station. The owner is a good state inspector for.cars.
