I have to give 3 1/2 stars due to receiving my vehicle back with grease stains on the ceiling fabric, on the door frame, and the outside of the door.I had to wait 3 days for a Mgr. decision (that never came). One of the employees heard my trying to get help. He took the time to clean it as best he could for me. [He gets ]The fabric is still lightly stained with fingerprints. I will have to pay a professional to clean it. This doesn't go well toward customer satisfaction.

Fast, efficient, and precise.Our car was towed there on Sunday and they were on it Monday morning.Sydney at reception, I think, took AMAZING care of us. She was on top of everything from calling to update us to checking back with us multiple times to see what we wanted to do about the work. I know she worked very hard for us and it was greatly appreciated. What she didn't know is how busy we both were and that my dad is in the hospital in another state and I was on the phone on and off or taking care of things in between our conversations. So each time she called back I REALLY appreciated it.I would recommend this location.Edit: we would have appreciated it if the car had been ran through the car wash. It used to be standard procedure at dealerships but after Covid it seems everyone slacked off.

They were courteous and not pushy. We were able to negotiate a reasonable amount and they worked with us to reach an agreement!I love our vehicle, and the service department is great so far. Still very happy with our vehicle purchase months later.

Always good but everytime something is missed, this time the tire pressure was not corrected. It s very small but still on the oil change paper work it says it was checked and corrected. Front two wheels were at 40 rear at 30. I intentionally didn t put air in because I thought you guys would but it s no way they checked it. Last oil change the issue was they didn t put windshield wiper fluid in. EVERYTHING is minor but still it s what the maintenance package pay for why not complete it

Great service. Sydney, at the service desk was so nice and professional. She made sure I was comfortable with my wait and kept me informed with their progress. The only thing I didn't like was that the mechanic never came out to talk. The car runs perfect again.

I had my engine over heat noise coming on again. I took it there the first time(diagnostic test done)...they fixed it and filled it with coolent and said it was low...mind you I just had a oil change before that. Now it happens again....had another diagnostic done and same issue..now a small hole in the line. I'm like why that wasn't found on the first test...then this is the worst part....I gotta wait a week for parts....get chatged again to fill it up and cost over $500!!! What! I'm just over the over pricing and back and forth. My part before then took 2 months and this just got fixed a month ago or more. I just wanna know why they don't look out for the customer when they don't do stuff right. I missed a half a day of work to come back too the same problem plus that crazy amount. I only go there to fix my car! I just don't get it!

I had a 12:30 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They informed me that my transmission was due for 30k mile maintenance, so I got them to perform that as well. I was at the dealership for 4 hours. I sat at the window observing the shop and my car being worked on, and out of the four hours that I watched, my car was only worked on for approximately 50 minutes. The gentleman who was working on my car was also juggling three other vehicle services. Not a good workflow within this shop. With my observations, there is a lot of potential for mistakes to be made. Furthermore, as a mechanic myself, the job is not done until your mess is cleaned up after work is completed. My car had oily hand prints all over and oil on my engine cover as well. I had my Kia K5 transmission 30k service on Friday 3/1. I drove 383 miles to Oak Hill West Virginia Saturday evening. When I walked out to my car Sunday morning, I notice oil in the driveway. It s always something. If you have your Kia serviced at CMA Colonial Kia South Chesterfield, expect slow poor service. The only reason I take my vehicle here is because of the service package I purchased when I bought the car and warranty purposes.UPDATE 3/4I went back in to speak with the service manager. He personally took my car into the shop and walked me over to inspect it. The issue was that the crush ring on the drain plug was not compressed to be able to seal. He tightened the drain plug, cleaned the underside, ran my car through the touch less car was across the street, topped of my gas tank for the inconvenience, and apologized.

I was told my service would take 2 to 21/2 hours. I made an appointment for 9:30, dropped the car off at 9. They said they would call when the car was finished. I called at 2:15 to see when the car would be finished, I was told they would check and call me back in a few minutes. At 2:45 I still had not heard . I called again and was told they were just finishing up. I guess. beware if you drop your vehicle off and leave, they probably won't honor your appointment time.

This was my 1st experience here the greetings from the Service dept was good. In my opinion took longer than expected with an appointment to get keys cut and fobs programmed for my sons car. Arrived at 12:15 didnt leave until about 2:20 that was the only frustration I experienced especially with something as simple as keys not any big service .

Unexpected cost for service. Regular maintenance thought was free for first whatever miles. Not told upfront. When leaving told the price almost $100.00. Appt 2 pm, took vehicle back approximately 2:40

Set an appointment to wait for an oil change. Arrived at opening and were taken immediately and service was provided promptly. Couldn't ask for better. Everyone was wonderful and they got us taken care of quickly so we didn't have to wait for hours.

Everything we were told when we purchased our vehicle from Kia was incorrect, and it took them 3 hours to tell us that the model we purchased couldn t actually have the accessory parts installed. The quote was also almost triple what we were told initially for a tow hitch and we couldn t even get a roof rack. My husband spent a morning off work sitting at the dealership for 4 hours to have nothing done. Very disappointing after a mostly pleasant purchasing experience from the dealership a few weeks ago.

Normally the service is excellent, and this time there were no issues. Just main complaint is that we did the overnight drop off and chose an 8:15AM appointment so the vehicle would be done earlier. I didn t hear about vehicle being done until about 3:00PM after I called. I could also tell from vehicle app that car wasn t worked on until maybe 11:00 or so. So I am not sure dropping it off and having an appointment does anything. Next time we will just wait. However, I will say that we also need a warranty covered repair and there was no arguing or delay, they knew what the problem was and are taking care of it. I can appreciate that!Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

I made appointment to get 2 recalls done on my EV hybrid. I gave the employee my VIN and he scheduled me for Saturday early morning. I also need oil change and whatever is normally recommended. He said no problem we will get this done. Appointment day: waited over an hour past my appointment time for them to tell me the EV certified technician doesn t work today. We also can t get the drainage plug out. It will be a charge of close to $80.00. Ummm the plug has been like that since I purchased this car and I ve had 5 oil changes. Your the first ones to have the audacity to charge 80.00 for the inconvenience of removing this plug. I will drive an hour away to another dealership that won t waste my time. Scheduling a person for Recalls on the EV technician day off. Whole purpose of my appointment. Waste of my time.

I purchased my new vehicle from this dealership, but was hesitant to bring it in for service based on reviews I had seen. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the great service I received. Scheduling online made the process super simple and convenient. Colby was extremely nice and helpful, and I was even given my first oil change at no charge! Keep up the great work, Colby! Friendly staff. But they installed a recall knowing it gave cars major issues if they had after-market automatic start. They basically just told me I couldn't use my automatic start to avoid these known problems. No solutions have been found. It has been 2 months, and I can't use the autostart I had installed at the dealership (thinking it was going to be a KIA autostart) to avoid any problems like this

Colonial Kia went above and beyond to make repairs to my vehicle and minimize the costs to me. I had my vehicle towed to their service department when my transmission failed as I was traveling from out of state. Carleigh kept me informed throughout the process and clearly communicated my options to me. The service manager gave my vehicle priority attention in seeing that the repairs were completed in a way that made the out-of-pocket costs to me negligible. Colonial Kia made it easy for me to retrieve my vehicle, as I was traveling through the area on a day they were closed. After an incident that I assumed would cause me great stress, both emotional and financial, Colonial Kia stepped up to provide more assistance than I ever thought possible from a car dealer service department. I cannot recommend them enough!

I did not have a good experience with this dealership. I dropped the car off on 11/2/23 & it was not ready until 12/26/23. That's nearly two (2) months.1. I found it challenging to get someone by phone. The first few weeks, I had to keep calling to get a status update. I consider this as poor communication. The company should have called me to give updates instead of me chasing them down.2. After a few weeks, I was finally informed of the issue. My car is under warranty and I provided them with information.3. I was given a loaner vehicle to use. However, I received a call to let me know that the parts had arrived and they wanted to to schedule a time for me to bring my car in to have it repaired. However, my car had been at the shop the entire time and that's the reason I was given a loner car.4. Finally, when my car was ready they called and asked for my warranty info again. I had given to them in the beginning.

From the first day I bought this van 2023 Kia carnival when it was detailed by the dealership they put numerous scratches in it I literally had to get somebody paint it before I would accept it. then I had an issue with the back door which was repaired. then three weeks ago I went out to the car to put something in it for my wife and the battery was dead so I had it towed to CMA Kia told him I had a dead battery and that the door was acting up again. they had no loaner vehicle at the time and about four or five days later one of the service managers told me that I could use the van all they were waiting on was some parts for the door. Pick the vehicle up late that afternoon and the very next morning I got a call from my wife the van will not open up in the battery s dead again. so it was towed the second time for the battery. I got a text a few days later Parts had come in and my car would be ready that afternoon. I received no call so I called the dealership again and was told the battery was no good exact reason it was bring in there twice on a tow truck for a dead battery. This whole time my vehicle was in there almost 3 weeks I do not want to receive a call from the service manager about my vehicle. So I come today to pick it up December 2 and there s some kind of damage or scratch or grease on the side of the car totally unacceptable and I really pray nothing happens to this van again

I went because my malfunction light was on; however, when the technician drove my car in the bay the light miraculously went off so I could not get a definitive diagnosis of what s going on with my car. I was told it could be this or could be that, and I had to pay the diagnostic fee. Not complaining, but maybe would have liked a discount on the diagnostic fee since I didn t receive a confirmed diagnosis. The staff was professional and I do appreciate the extra steps the dealership has taken ref customer service (i.e. charging station, beverages and coffee to drink, and snacks).

My service advisor was excellent, Sydney.I am very pleased with Sydney s support and continued work to help us get through the process as smoothly as possible. Their-(CMA s Colonial Kia Service Department s)- protocol not as much pleased there though. Beyond my advisors reach of course, so keeping it simple here.The executive team which oversees this CMA Kia site may benefit to go onsite and review the CMA Colonial Kia Service Department s (current protocol) around employees being out of the office, and where that leaves their clients (having to wait for a repair process to proceed forward, only because the assigned advisor to the client needing to return from being out of the office, is simply not optimal.Operationally speaking).Beyond counterproductive to basic in and out flux, warranting a head-scratching response, in concern of unreasonable in-efficiency. I went in to get my rear light fixed and they noticed my car also had a recall for the sliding seats. They fixed it all in one visit and were very pleasant. I go out of my way to deal with this service department and im never disappointed.

From scheduling my appointment in a timely manner to clear communication during each step of the process, my experience with Colonial Kia was outstanding. I highly recommend their service department and will look to purchase a vehicle from their sales department the next time I m in the market for a new vehicle.
