If you want great customer service and professional work, go to Leonard Building and Trucks. Yesterday, I had a work truck out of service. The guys at Leonard had it fixed within 30 mins after opening. I had the truck back on the schedule supporting my customers.Thanks Leonard.

Folks at Leonard in Winchester are great. They went above and beyond to find a bed cover to fit my new Ram 1500 with a split tailgate. Always friendly and helpful. I ll continue going back to them for my truck accessories!

I recently had these Rhino side steps put on at this location and I love them! Dan was very willing to help and a pleasure to work with. He even answered tons of other questions I had about other products. I won t hesitate to purchase from them in the future!

What a experience here at Leonard. This isn t my first time shopping here but must say it will be my last.bought a 3k dollar truck topper and getting it installed today. techs told it would take about 2.5 hours maybe 3 with removing my retrax cover.it s now been 7.5 hours and we re still not finished. these two techs sure seem lost. one walks around more than works and the other keeps disappearing rather than helping his coworker.i had other appointments to be at today but have to cancel because of this.the tech installing the topper says he has only been here for a week and has only wired one topper before. Sell me a topper and installation when you don t even have qualified techs to install them.i told them when i set up the install date friday for today that i have to leave for GA today. Russell ask me if i can leave the truck here overnight for someone to come from charleston tomorrow to finish.if your looking for a topper, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. i would rate negative stars if were able.they have been on the phone with different people, i m not sure if the owner just doesn t care or hasn t been informed of what s going on, regardless this is horrible service.

I would highly recommend going to Leonard if you re in the market for a new trailer or upgrades to your current trailer! I worked with Dan throughout the process, he was amazing to work with and made it as easy as possible.

Great customer support! Dan was very helpful and always kept us informed.We ordered our carport on a Monday and Eagle Carports called me and scheduled for the next week. The installers even worked during the rain with no issues

Dan at this location helped me figure out what dump trailer parts my company needed, get them ordered from the warehouse, and then ship them to us in Western, MD. Communication was kept open the entire time, and the whole team that helped in the middle were wonderful. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good about this place. These guys are awesome! They have helped me out in a pinch more times than a few. I never actually bought a trailer from them; but they treat me as if I bought all my trailers there. Best place around for any trailer needs! Thanks for all you guys do!

I really appreciated the service I received at this facility! I stopped in with our pop-up camper to pick up some bolts for a different trailer and asked if someone might be able to check my rig out as I was not getting consistent power to the camper. Either Greg or Bill took the time to run a quick check on the tow vehicle and the camper, found a bulb that had the turn signal out and replaced it, and finished checking it out at the drop of a hat. Very grateful for such fantastic service, thank you so much! I know where I m going the next time I have any kind of trailer problem!

This is definitely your best option for trailers and sheds. The inventory is incredible and the service is fantastic. After discussing my needs with Max, I knew which trailer I needed. They didn t have it in stock but Max made some calls and luckily found the one I wanted. It was there with in a week. Max was very respectful of our safety and committed to a contactless transaction. He even hitched the trailer for me and sent me on my way. No matter how you want to conduct business they are happy to meet your needs. If your looking for a trailer at a great price you better call Max at the Winchester Leonard dealership.

Customer service at Leonard s is top notch! We were traveling through and had safety issues with our trailer hitch and they were kind enough to take it apart, tell me what I needed, and then put it back together again. They spent a lot of time and effort and even invited us back for a safety check before we got on our way! I d recommend this place to anyone traveling on the 81 corridor, or the Winchester area as well as any locals- hands-down.

I purchased a Toyota Tacoma truck and wanted a bed cover installed. The Toyota dealership told me to go to Trick Trucks - HORRIBLE. They are arrogant and acted like I was bothering them and didn't attempt to answer any questions or take the time to show me what they had to offer. I went to Leonard and what a difference! I walked in and received a friendly greeting. Max took the time to show me the different truck bed covers they had available and helped me choose a cover that fit my needs. The cover I chose had a longer warranty than the ones Trick Trucks offered and Leonard is doubling the warranty. I had the truck bed cover put on today and am very happy with it. Great quality, expert installation - just what I wanted. When I asked some questions about registering for the warranty, Max even went online and registered the cover for me. I highly recommend Leonard Buildings & Truck Accessories!

I purchased our Leonard 5X10 trailer in April 2021, and everything has been great. The sales experience had no pressure, and Max was very helpful. We ve had the trailer a few months, used it a number of times, and I m happy with the quality. I would recommend both the product and this location.

Called all around for clamps for my new camper shell I had gotten and these guys were the only people who knew what I was talking about and had them for a killer price. Couldn t recommend a better company for your truck accessory or trailer needs. Give them a call.

As a first time customer, I used Leonard to install a new hitch on my vehicle. I ordered everything by phone and Dan was an outstanding help. I scheduled installation and it took less than 30 minutes for the whole visit + installation. Very pleased and amazed at how quickly they got the job done and was impressed with their knowledge and experience. Thank you!

I purchased a Leer topper for my new Tacoma, I took it over on the day I picked up my truck from the dealer. Can't say I'm all that thrilled with the experience. I defiantly don't feel like I got a "deal" even though I purchased a higher end model with lots of extras including the carpet bed liner (likely at a huge markup). I wasn't offered any discount and if one was applied I wasn't notified. I can't say I'm overly pleased with the install either, I'm a bit of a perfectionist but I think it was a sloppy job for getting a high priced model and not haggling over price. One of the clamps was noticeably crooked, the carpet bed liner is wrinkled and crooked (or just doesn't fit right), and I had to make additional adjustments to get the hatch to latch correctly. I'd prefer to bypass the dealer and just get what I need from the manufacturer directly.Overall, they were friendly and answered my questions but don't expect anything spectacular, a deal, or superb installation. I'd suggest negotiating and shopping around as well as doing your own install if possible.

I recently purchased and had a cap installed. I also added some options. The salesman was not clear on one of these options. I have a brand new truck, and didn t want the wiring hacked up on it, scotch lock connectors are a hack. I bought an adaptor so there would be no scotch locks. I found out during install that the keyless entry option wasn t part of that adaptor. The guys in the shop worked hard to make the keyless entry work on my cap, each time piercing the wire with a scotch lock. I don t blame the guys in the shop Leer should have provided correct instructions, and the salesman should have explained at time of purchase that the keyless entry option wasn t part of the optional adaptor I purchased. Did I say my truck is expensive and the the cap with added options was expensive. It was after some time and searching the internet on a competitors cap site did we find the correct wire, again the guys in the shop were patient and tried hard. I am very frustrated with Leer and the lack of correct information, and the salesman who didn t accurately define the wiring adaptor.

Stopped by here since they work on trailers. They did an unbelievably amazing job fixing our bizarre wiring issue. They took the time to trace it thoroughly, gave us the details on what happened, spoke with great respect and knowledge, all while being very fast and friendly. Highly recommend these fine folks for anything trailer related.

My Wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience with the Winchesterstaff. Just bought a trailer for our motorcycles and we're out on the road. I stopped into Leonard to talk about purchasing a cap for my truck. Max took the time and discussed different options and made ordering very easy. The cap arrived on the date expected and I was able to bring my truck in and wait for the installation. I would recommend Leonard.

I bought a Leer camper shell for my King Ranch F-150 a couple of years ago. I had it decked out inside with hooks and LED lights all the way around on the inside and a door/window opening on each side and they wired it for me so all the inside lights would come on if any doo/window was opened. It s awesome...! After a couple of years, one of the connectors underneath the truck corroded to the point of causing an open circuit. I called Joe, the manager, and he told me to bring it in... Greg, in service, started troubleshooting it right away and in about 15 minutes, had showed me the corroded connector, replaced it and fixed everything and I was on my way again...Fast forward to today... 6/7/19A couple of days ago I caught a very large snapping turtle and put it in the back of my truck to carry to my grandson so he could see it up close... I had no idea the turtle could climb up the bed far enough to pull my camper shell light wires loose...!!! But he did...!!!And once again, Joe, Greg and the whole crew helped get me going again at no charge and less than 15 minutes...!!!These are great people here...!!!Thanks y all...!Billy Jack

One star....Bought the "black Friday special" for running boards on my truck for $199, with installation to be $80.... total of $298 paid up front. Decided to install myself, asked for refund of installation, then got told that the installation was "included in the price." That explains why the receipt he gave me when I paid - in his words: "looks funny but, it all comes out the same in the bottom line." Wonder what the #IRS would think about his questionable invoicing practices??? Getting my refund tomorrow and will take my business and my money elsewhere.UPDATE: 12-12-2017Three stars.... Received call from Keith, district manager, following my review. Explained my issue with the Huntington location. Keith was very apologetic, and expressed that he wanted to try to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. I told him that i had moved on and purchased elsewhere, but he went further and stated that he would refund my money and send me a $50 credit for me to give them a chance to do a better job. I appreciate his desire to earn back my business and will likely give them a chance to redeem themselves. When i do, i will update my review.

Visited Leonard's to find out about getting a hitch installed on my used Volvo. Maksim and Dana were super helpful in addressing all my concerns, even fixed a couple of the 12V outlets that weren't functioning. Maskim took the time (in the blistering heat) to figure out where the 3rd fuse box was located, and found the culprit. He changed the burnt out fuse and voila, I can finally charge my cellphone and use the DVD player. It's the small things!Have been asking the dealership for weeks to take a look at it.I'll definitely be back to get my hitch installed. Good people here, rare to find these days!
