Great company with wonderful customer service. Plan ahead as getting into this shop is sometimes a challenge as all the shops I go to recommend this same shop for transmission work. Well worth the effort to get on their schedule. Pricing is upfront and honest. They can and do custom work on transmissions.

Transmission went out in my 2005 Dodge diesel 2500 truck stopped by described what happened when my transmission went out they knew right away what the problem might be. This is the best transmission shop on the east coast. Very honest people, Iv had vintage transmissions done and other Dailly drivers done. They are a very busy shop! That says a lot for good reason Dwayne knows what he s doing. Be patient and they will get you on the road again. Other reviews mentioned how no one answers the phone at this business and guess what, it is true.Called this establishment to get an estimate on installing a new transmission in my car and an answering machine picked up so I left a message as to my interest in getting some work done and even left my vin number to further the assistance to owner.Well never received a return call so I called and left another message and guess what, no return call again imagine that.I guess this establishment only picks and chooses what jobs he wants to take?Needless to say I won't be calling this business again and no one else should either.If you don't want to be a public serving business then don't advertise as such.

I completely lost reverse while trying to get home after a short trip. These guys were amazing. They had the work done very quickly and triple checked their work. They also explained everything very clearly and made sure everything was right before handing over my keys. I will definitely be going back if I need work done in the future

Top dollars, bad warrantyMy truck transmission I took it the out of the vehicle they supposedly repair it and installed a tow shifting kit ,whewhen I pick it up transmission wasn't shifted manually to L1 also have a delay engaging to drive and sometimes don't engage reverse under cold temperature have to warm it up to work ,I received the transmission partially clean not painted , very un profesional and nothing on the receipt about any details or warranty, that's not counting they give me a price and when I found the money they charged me like $400 dollars more ,very disappointed

Interstate was recommended to me via the good folks over at Tire Outfitters in Winchester.I have an older Ford truck and was not sure exactly what was going on with the front differential. Interstate found the issue in the driveline quickly and was able to get everything fixed for a great price. Not only did they fix the mechanical issue, but they also cleaned and painted the driveline.I remain very satisfied with their workmanship and would recommend them to anyone looking for honest, high quality and cost effective work as far as driveline/transmission/differential is concerned.The only thing I will add is they are extremely busy, so book your appointment accordingly.

I called and left a voice mail explaining the hard shift problem I was having with my 2004 Buick LeSabre. Randy called me back and left a voice mail that provided a detailed explanation of what he thought the problem was and his approach to fix it. He gave me a price estimate. I brought my 2004 Buick LeSabre in, dropped it off using the night drop-off, and Interstate fixed the problem for the price that was estimated - it's been working great! No more hard shifts. Great job Randy and Interstate Transmission!

Three years ago, the trans in my Ford E250 van finally gave out at over 250,000 miles. I am from North Carolina, and was set up at the Shenandoah Steam and Gas Engine Show in Berryville. Interstate could easily have done fast shoddy work and charge me much more. The trans has given me another 70,000 miles of perfect service, and I feel Interstate Transmissions Inc. deserves much more than five stars!

They have always done great work for me over the years and saved me alot of money from other companies wanting charge me a ton of extra money to fix things that were not wrong with m6 vehicles. They always are friendly and get the job done!

We were travelling through Winchester from out of state when there were problems with the transmission. Some folks might have taken advantage of us, but not this company. They were very honest and fair. Not only did they take the time to find a replacement part at a low cost, they stayed very late into the evening to fix the car. It's something else when someone is willing to give up family time to help a stranger in need.

They put a transmission in for me. Called and left several messages. Never called me back. Poor customer service. However I ve always heard they do very good work.

They stand behind their work. My clutch needed to be replaced and it made a noise after service. They replaced it free of charge the second time.Call early though, they're usual booked solid a couple weeks out.

Definitely the cheapest you'll find, but be prepared to not have a vehicle for 2 weeks. They also never answer the damn phone or call you back.
