They were amazing, and their efficiency was excellent. I called on a Saturday and requested my truck to be serviced as soon as possible. They had given me several options and requested my availability to see which best suits me. Feeling thankful, I asked to be serviced that following Tuesday morning; when I arrived at the facility it was clean, neat, and very well structured, with plenty of parking for customers. The office staff were very patient and considerate of all attendees in their establishment, offering refreshments and even requesting our permission and feedback before purchasing any parts or doing any additional repairs or fixes to the vehicle. I left feeling more confident than ever about the service I received from the team. I'll be sure to come back if I ever need to do anything with my truck again.Thanks, C&J Auto RepairService: Brakes

I am new in town and I was looking for mechanic shop that can look at my car the same day because the engine light turned on. I called two different mechanic shops first and called C & J to compare prices. C & J service is very reasonable and less expensive comparing to the two shops. The best part about C & J is that when I called, they were able to take care of my car immediately and the customer service was excellent. They did a diagnostic test and since the result/codes was caused by changing the battery, C & J did not charge me for the diagnostic test. Thank you C & J! If you are looking for auto services, I would highly recommend this shop.

Took our F-150 up to get the rear end fixed and Wade and his team were absolutely amazing. I am extremely happy when the the work done by them and even asking for other things to be done last minute, Wade had no problem taking care of it for me. Absolutely recommend anyone to go there.

I highly recommend C & J!! I was referred to them through family and so thankful! My timing chain went bad on my 2011 Buick Enclave and they were the cheapest in price upon many others I checked! They had the 15 hour job done within 2 days and back on the road running smoothly. Fast forward 6 months later, due to other reasons and ofcourse a GM product my tensioner broke on my timing chain. Even under warranty, they still did not have to fix it but these kind souls upheld my faith in humanity and covered the repair! Olivia was very pleasant and kind to speak with the many times I called! Wade communicated every detail and was on top of getting my car on the road. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!

EXCESSIVE COST OF REPAIRI would avoid getting your car inspected at this business. They failed my vehicle and the cost of repair was well over 3x the cost of the part itself. I know the cost of labor isn t cheap but the part cost 450 dollars and they wanted 1600 to get it to pass inspection. Ihonestly don t know how middle class families are expected to pay that kind of money. This made me somewhat distrusting of their business practice especially when I told them to put a rejection sticker on it and then took it to a different shop and it passed inspection.In response to the owners comment: I was told it only failed for one thing and not three as you claim. I also have the inspection sheet from you all that only shows the one issue that other professionals did not see fit to fail my vehicle for.

Went in for a state inspection.. Omg.. They were so amazing and funny.. The gentleman laugh at me.. Cause I had so many things only keys.. They don't know how much they made my day.. By smile.. Thanks

I had a overheating problem and the guys over there took good care of me.Had An inconvenience arise and they were as well very customer orientated. They Worked on having me leave happy and with my car taken care of.These guys are the best around.Special thanks to Wade and Aaron for making the process much easy and smooth very informative and responsive.Will be coming back for any repairs or maintenance !

My car wouldn't start in the parking lot of the library a couple blocks away, and I walked over and they sent 2 techs to go look at it and they were able to jump start it and bring it over. The battery needs to be replaced and they were quick and helpful when it was hot and I had two kids with me. The salesman spoke to my husband over the phone and explained the battery options and stuff with him since that's stuff I don't understand. Great customer service and quick. They even had some toys for my kids to play with in the waiting room.Service: Battery

We have used the other CandJ auto many times for service on our fleet. They are located just 15 minutes away on Route 1. They were booked this time so we went to their "sister company" figuring the service would be the same. We were very disappointed by the service we were provided. They do not accept AmEx, nor were they able to bill to our Fleet company as we requested. Additionally, although we were not informed of this ahead of time and had to make alternative payment arrangements as a result, they still insisted on charging a $30 storage fee and were not understanding at all. We will not be back and definitely would not recommend to anyone with a large fleet or even a single vehicle. Very unprofessional and disappointing customer service.

I was referred to this shop by a neighbor due to me still being fairly new to the area and I wanted to write a review for this company. I enjoyed my experience (I had to have a starter repaired). I like how they give the part # on the invoice of my receipt letting me know that it wasn t a reman but a new starter. I am a woman that DOES know her car parts, but I wasn t treated like how some individuals treat a woman/talk down to a woman assuming that she lacks car knowledge. Plus a nice young woman works there anyway. I had to wait at least a week after the service was done to write this review in case something happened to make me change my mind , just being honest. Everything is all good. I have every intention on returning to have one more job done for my car. I think my 20 old year car is in good hands with them.

Amazing mechanic shop! I m new to the Chester area and my car A/C broke! I m so glad to have found them though a google search. Immediately the store manager got me in right away! He is a great leader! He is honest and trustworthy! He has a desire to educate and treats his employees very well! On top of all that this place is affordable! As a women it s so hard to find a decent and honest mechanic shop that won t rip me off or take advantage that I m a women! My A/C is running ice cold! I highly recommend this place!Service: A/C installation & repair

Very helpful & as speedy as possible considering delays from the dealership on a needed part. Thankful they dealt with the dealership so I wouldn't have to. I would have been charged so much more at the dealership, but C&J was much more reasonable in comparison & much more pleasant to deal with. Got my car's stuck rear hatch fixed, a bulb replaced, & my state inspection done all at once.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

Fast and friendly service! They make you feel very welcome and are kind to those who aren t good with cars and will answer any and all questions or concerns you may have. They genuinely want you to understand what exactly is wrong with your vehicle and how they ll fix it. Their service is straight to the point and fast. My car was making a weird clanking sound when I turned, and I brought it in on a whim when the sound had gotten worse and they were more than happy to help resolve the issue even though they seemed pretty busy. Most places would have turned me away being so busy, so I greatly appreciate that they helped me out. 100% recommend coming here!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This shop is wonderful! Their work and recommendations make me feel like I can safely drive my car when I pick it up. They don t take advantage and try to upsell me, which happens all the time if I try to go to one of the chains for anything. And the owner is so kind!! He is running a fair and honest business that I would recommend to everyone!

A completely different experience from some of the other C&J shops. Small in shop space but BIG on customer service! Found them by chance when they were one of the only shops open the day after Thanksgiving. Had my truck towed to the shop and the manager stayed late to make sure he got all of the necessary info to start work right away when they opened. Within 30 minutes of opening the manager was already on the phone with me discussing what they d found and giving me my options with estimated pricing. I was anticipating 1-2 days to get the parts and another day for repairs. Instead I found myself heading to pick up the vehicle that afternoon! With family in town, they were a life saver. Wade, the manager, has established a climate of customer care that focuses on understanding, integrity, and looking out for the customer s best interests. I have found my new garage for all my repair and servicing needs.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Wade and the guys are absolutely a blessing to the Chester area. The guys know their business and will not take advantage of you. I've used them on several occasions and the work was 100% great. The business has grown over time and continues to grow thanks to quality work affordable prices and downright home folk service. Thanks guys.

I would give 10 stars if I was able . Wade and the rest of the employees are there for my elderly dad s car whenever we need them. Even on the spur of the moment they rise to the occasion to help. Honesty, Integrity and respect, these people have it all. Was about to get charged almost twice the amount at the Ford dealership unnecessarily to pass inspection. Had my suv repaired I m here in 2019, firstly it took months and months to get it done and it wasn t done properly. Then, they repeatedly said to my father-in-law (helped pay for repairs) that it must have been a drunk driving accident . Despite having the full police report from the accident which WAS NOT alcohol related at all!!!!Now, I popped a tire on the highway and went to get what should be my FULL SIZE SPARE ON A REAL RIM from under my suv and find the worlds worst donut tire!!!!!!! They STOLE MY FULL-SIZE SPARE ON A REAL RIM!!! Terrible. I can t drive on the donut at all because it isn t even the right size. They effectively stranded me.

I just moved to the area and was in search of a reliable, honest, and fair-priced repair shop. I called C&J about a brake issue and they were able to get me in first thing the following day. The staff was friendly, provided me with a ride home, and communicated throughout the process. The text updates with photos and technician notes were nice as I am a very visual person like to actually see the issues. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely (although hopefully I won't need to anytime soon) be back in the future.

I was new to the area and I did my research to find a long term good auto shop that I would go to. I must say that I feel lucky to have come across C & J Auto & Truck service center. I brought both of my vehicles to them, one with a laundry list of problems and I asked for a full diagnostic of the entire vehicle. I received the list, it was as long as expected, and I can honestly say by the way my car feels now, these gentlemen worked on it to perfection. Over the course of that week, they remained in communication via phone and I never had to guess on what they were doing. The customer service was exceptional, and so was the improvements that were made on my vehicle... I've used their services on a previous vehicle. They appear to be genuinely friendly and knowledable mechanics. They were concerned about our mechanical needs. They took care of our vehicle and took a personal interest in making sure that we were satisfied and offered assistance beyond the manufacturers warranty, if anything should happen.
