They were absolutely the best. Helped us source the replacement glass for our sunroof. Had it shipped to Winchester from who knows were, had us come and had it replaced and back out the door in under an hour! Friendliest folks possible as well. Not disappointed at all. I definitely know who I will be going to and referring friends to from now on. Thanks guys!!!

Local business that goes above and beyond to service their customers from initial contact through completion of service. Kristie was absolutely amazing, she went out of her way to help, thus proving by that some small businesses still understand just how important customer retention is. Because of her, I will always default to Blue Ridge Glass & Metal for all of my needs. 10 out of 10. You won t find anyone better!

A big shout out to Jim and team. I broke a work truck windshield. I called Jim and got an estimate. It was easy. I didn t have to go through a phone tree, press buttons, and then find I can only schedule on line. Nope, I immediately spoke to a real person. I got the estimate and was scheduled for the next day. When I arrived for the repair, the technicians were ready to work. It only took an hour. The price was good too. Try them out. Oh, they do other glass work like shower doors. These guys don t mess around. They had the windshield in stock and were fixing our vehicle within 2 hours of my initial call. A lot of other shops were closed or didn t have availability. They came from 45 minutes away and were still $100 cheaper than safelight. Highly recommend Jim and team.

This place rocks. I visiting from California and my window on my car got stuck in the road down position, and I was unable to roll it back up. The staff there help me get my window back up in a matter of seconds. All the while my mom was in the hospital suffering with pneumonia. All I could do was think about her. When they saw my frustration and difficulties they helped out without hesitation. Did I mention the most important part they did this all free of charge. I can t thank you enough. Please visit them for all your glass needs.

I am super impressed. We talked to several window companies in the area to replace some large windows in our 1970s house. Wanted them double paned to cut down on utilities. They came in the cheapest by far. Came out and measured, ordered, and installed within three-four weeks. We will certainly be using them moving forward with the rest of the windows on our property.Service: Installation

Excellent service for my windshield replacement. They handled my insurance claim beautifully, which required several back and forth phone calls to get right. They said I'd be in and out in about an hour, which was true! Start to finish in three days - even though the glass needed to be sourced from Nissan. I needed a windshield replaced on my truck and they were able to get me in the next day. The lady at the front was very friendly and helpful. The technician who replaced my windshield ran into some issues but took some pictures, explained the issue and let me know how they were going to resolve it. We called around for pricing and this place was the best. I would highly recommend them to anyone.Service: Auto windshield replacement

This is the best place to have your sunroof replaced! We had our sunroof replaced last week and this company was great. I enjoyed all my conversations with Kristie at the front desk...she was great before I even went in for the actual service. They got our car in and out fast...and never complained about all the gorilla tape we had used to secure our sunroof before it was replaced.Service: Sunroof glass replacement

I got a windshield replacement quote from safelite before using blue ridge glass & metal instead, and safelite was $150 more expensive and wouldn't come out to replace it for several weeks. These guys got me in the same week (would have been next day except for rain), and did a fantastic job. Customer service was top-notch and if in Winchester, there isn't a charge for the mobile service. Would highly recommend!

I had a Jeep Wrangler with a broken windshield and some wiring issues that wouldn t start. I called around trying to find the best deal on a tech that could come to us to replace the windshield. Not only did Blueridge have the best price (no extra fee to come to my house since I was within the city) but they had a windshield in stock and were at my house less than 4 hours after I called and spoke to them. The tech was very friendly (even my dog liked him and she usually barks at everyone lol) and explained if it started to rain he may have to come back the next day to do it but he got it done so quickly I didn t even notice him leaving. Thank you so much, will be recommending you to anyone I know looking for windshield replacement.

I brought a vehicle in for a new windshield. The price that was quoted over the phone was exactly what was charged. The lady in the office was extremely professional and friendly. Jim and staff did a wonderful job. I left with a new windshield at a great price in a little less than an hour. I highly recommend this business.

I'm from Montana and we use rocks on the road in winter. I replace 4 windshields a year. I would use the national chain and for every vehicle, someone in my family would wait for 3-4 hours. I was in and out of Blue Ridge Glass in an hour. Wish I could bring all the vehicles out to use them. Staff is helpful, friendly and do a really nice job!Service: Auto windshield replacement

I lost a basement door glass due to a bird. I got an estimate from a competitor (just call around) and it was $758.70 installed. I called Blue Ridge Glass and Metal and Jim gave me a price of $325 for the unit, and gave me tips on installation. Exactly what I needed. 20 minutes after getting it home, I was done! Thanks Jim! I will be using you exclusively for home and auto glass from now on!

Great service!! They fit me in quickly and replaced my windshield in less than an hour. They also did a great job saving my required stickers so I didn't have the hassle of having those replaced as well. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend this place. From the woman who answered the phone to the man who came to pick up my car and brought it back, it was absolutely wonderful service. Friendly staff, great prices and super convenient. I was able to stay at work and since I worked in Winchester, they picked up my car, put on a new windshield and brought it back at no extra cost. You won't regret giving them your business. Thank you!

I own a 40ft Motorhome which had some rock damage on both windshields. Blue Ridge Glass was the company which put a new ones in. Sounds easy, doesn't it. In no way was it an easy job. Jim and his team went out of their way to get the job done. They had to fight a warped and twisted cap, which was out of square by 1 inch. They didn't give up! The result is a very professionally done job and a highly satisfied and happy customer. Thank you again, Jim!!!! ...and please extend my gratitude to your team as well.

Blue Ridge Glass and Metal accommodated me the day after Thanksgiving enough though they were busy. Jim, the owner, checked on which glass was needed and let me know my options and what the difference between the different options. The employee at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The price was fair and more reasonable than other places in the area. I would recommend them for your glass and windshield needs.

No long waiting/reservation list, Courteous staff, decent pricing, willing to problem solve rather than just quote standard pricing / time & labor costs. I have had them complete 2 sets of mustang convertible door regulator replacement over the years. They did a VW windshield and door glass replacement onsite for me. I will continue to refer people to them to fix & solve automotive glass needs!

I just had my windshield replaced today and was so glad I chose this company! They helped me through every step of the process - even to how to find my policy/deductible information on my insurance card. I got an immediate appointment and they assisted in the claim process. Not to mention easy-to-find location and very, very nice people. And in case you go hungry I noticed an ice cream case in the office - YUM!

Safelite scheduled install for Tuesday @ 8am I dropped my car and they call at noon and said windshield wouldn t be in until Friday. No call or communication on Monday saying windshield didn t come in. Called Jim at Blue Ridge on Tuesday afternoon he said I can get it over night so scheduled Thursday morning and had it installed by 9. Highly recommend giving Jim a call.Service: Auto windshield replacement

A rock hit and shattered my windshield on Sunday and Blue Ridge Glass was able to get me in first thing Tuesday. Truly a lifesaver, and $100 under the big name guys in town. Personal and curteous service, everyone was super nice and I'll be sure to refer others to them! They do much more than just auto glass too

I will tell you this company by far is the best company I have ever done Buisness with. I am from NY and had a tire go threw my windshield on my way to traveling to Georgia. I have 3 boys ages 7,6,2 and my husband with me. I called around to many places in the area and called this place and actually got disconnected and they CALLED ME BACK. I explained to them my situation they told me to find a local hotel they will have my glass in by 8 am they will come pick up my car fix it and bring it back by 10 am and they did just that. More than thankful.

I stopped in to see if they could install a rear-view mirror for me if I ordered one on Ebay. They had an exact match for my car, at a great price, and installed it for me at no charge. In & out in less than 10 minutes. Friendly staff and great service!

Fast and friendly. Had my rear windshield shattered by a rock kicked up by a tractor and trailer. Called Winchester Auto Glass because they had been recommended. Jim and his staff were quick. They ordered the glass, came and cleaned up the mess and installed the windshield. Did great work! My husband had put plastic over the broken window with duck tape. The repair guy even cleaned up the residue from my husband's duck tape job. Highly recommend this company.

I was driving from Massachusetts and took rocks to my window from a heavily-laden dump truck in New Jersey. Asked friends and family in VA who I should use to replace my windshield, and these folks were highly recommended by the locals. They did a super job, on time, no fuss with the insurance paperwork, and the replacement was very well done in all the little details (registration stickers saved; EZPass transponder velcro properly re-attached; rain sensor hook-up done properly, etc). I went to their shop due to freezing temperartures, but they'd have happily come to me if temperature was better for optimal sealing of the new glass. While I waited, their WiFi worked well, and the whole experience was a good one; completed in just over 1 hour.
