Battery went dead at the Sheetz down the road. Jumped it with a portable battery charger and went straight to Auto Zone. Very professional, cordial and helpful service from a gentleman (who's name I did not catch) who confirmed the battery was a goner and also checked the alternator to make sure it wasn't an issue.Removed the old battery and had the new one in within 10 minutes and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes total! Would recommend this location to anyone.

I fixed my brakes! Then my tires had this strange problem where they kept rolling when I pushed the brake pedal. That's weird. When I went to AutoZone and asked for advice they just laughed and said "you didn't do the brakes right". I can't believe the nerve! Those people are MEAN! How could they blame me for a tire malfunction?!?!!

The service was great! I came in looking for a little assistance to confirm if my battery or if my alternator was bad. It took less than five minutes to determined that I have a bad starter. Thanks for the hospitality and fast service and addressing my issue.

I needed to replace my battery tonight after a long day at work. I had the pleasure of working with David, who provided excellent customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed, including reviewing my warranty on my current battery. The store was busy, but he was patient and helpful.Thank you for making the experience as positive as it could be!

On December 27th my husband and I were traveling from New Jersey to North Carolina and after stopping for coffee our car would not start. We were able to get a jump and went to AutoZone for a battery. Frank was more than a helpful in evaluating our car, providing a battery, checking the oil (which turned out to be completely evaporated) and recommending other areas of the car engine to have evaluated when we got home. He certainly helped saved the remainder of our travel from Winchester to NC. I highly recommend.

Know it all behind counter tried to tell me they didn't make 3/4 inch wide belts for torque converters (go karts) . I could have received better help from a robot.These box chains put anyone behind the counter.Went home and ordered 3 online.

We went today to have our battery checked due to the light coming on when we had someone check it out he said that the battery was good and it was possible it was the alternator causing the light for the battery to come on. After checking the battery he said that the battery was at 111 and that it should be at 114 but he still said that the battery would be fine. After thinking everything was good for now we headed home. When we needed to leave the house again and attempted to start the car it wouldn t even turn on all the lights flashed on it and it kicked back off. We attempted again to turn the car on and it was giving us signs that our battery had just died. We had to go buy a new battery last minute. The employees should really state if a battery is good or not obviously they were wrong and ours wasn t okay !

Excellent customer service even 10 minutes prior to closing time. The night manager seems understand the importance of honest customer service without the need to blow smoke. It was a pleasure and I will be back with my Mack truck for anything you all can order parts wise and if not able to order I'll at least get all fluids and incidentals needed.God Bless,Ken Smith

My experience recently has been awful been waiting on a part for inspection so it s of dire need to work. The employee told me day of purchase it would be present at 4pm so of course I was inclined to purchase this item from autozone. Part never came. I was told the next day it would arrive and then still it never came this proceeded from Thursday till today Monday and was then told again it would arrive the next day on Tuesday. This is absurd. I asked for my refund and guess what I can t get my money because it isn t in the system till the part come in .. so where did my money go that was spent at autozone. And again what am I suppose to do decline the part I need for my inspection when it comes in to receive my money back???

They were nice enough to take the time to check my battery when I came by at night but the guy helping said I needed a new battery terminal so I went ahead and bought it. Went by next morning for some questions on installation and new guy helping said it didn t look like I needed a terminal so I asked for refund but didn t have my receipt. They said they couldn t do it even though the same guy that sold it to me 18hrs ago was working and could verify it. Makes no sense and during these times of Covid19 every penny counts!

I go in I bring my starter in to have it checked to see if I need to buy another starter they can't operate the machine they don't know how couldn't get it to work so I was forced to buy a starter not knowing if I needed it or not it was the only store to that had my starter and I needed it that night if your employees don't know how to operate the machines you have for customers that reflects on the managers as being very poor on training by the way this was AutoZone on route 7 in Winchester Virginia looking to get something checked out or some advice without attitude and having someone with knowledge go somewhere else oh and by the way it wasn't the starter so the $40 core I turned in my starter and couldn't find out if it was good or not we're still good go figure here is an update everybody on the response I got about my starter number #1 sorry you had such a bad experience we hope you'll give us a second chance that will never happen #2 as a business that has been around as AutoZone I should never have to give a second chance #3 all the negative comments on you guys from multiple people and the disrespect of AutoZone employees towards customers who actually pay their salaries because we come in and do business with y'all is just unforgivable for a company that's been around this long it's just another clear case because people need something employees can act anyway they want but that also reflects back on to management means they're not doing their job. Thanks for reading till the end I know I never hear back on this one but it don't matter this customer has been lost

Went in last nite to buy a gas cap & was "helped" by a young man who seemed new. He couldn't decide which computer to use, walking me back & forth, then had trouble understanding me, & struggled to find the cap even tho they were RIGHT behind him! When I asked about how to find the correct size ball for my tow hitch(new car); he was clueless. He asked an associate, another young man; who looked at us like, "WHY are you bothering me? " before mumbling to the first guy. That first guy rang up the cap & I had to ask him AGAIN about the tow hitch. He said he didn't know, he was waiting for his ride & that I could take a couple off the shelf outside to see which one fit! Sorry, WHAT?!! I'm NOT taking unpurchased store merchandise outside said store w/o an employee present! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

AutoZone is one of my favorite places to buy car parts from. Staff is always very helpful. They have several locations throughout Winchester City, so if one store doesn't have your part you're looking for there is several other locations. I've never had a problem with the quality of their parts. If you sign up with their reward program they give you $20 store credit on your fifth purchase of $20 or more on each transaction. They also assist with wiper blade installation along with OBD2 diagnostics free battery installation and more.

Best experience buying car parts at this AutoZone, Zack was amazing and very helpful. He knew exactly what I needed and made sure I didn't pay extra. My headlights had needed a bulb replacement and Zack looked at my lights and got the right bulb. I had a 1:30 hour drive to make and he even showed me how to change it.Don't live near this AutoZone but I wish I did.5/5

I would give this Auto zone less than a 1 star but you have to choose at least a 1 star. I called this evening and was put on hold for well over 10 minutes, I hung up and called back alittle later, the lady picked up phone and left it off the hook. I could hear the conversation and everything but then left the phone off the hook. Very rude and very poor customer service. So I ended up calling the other Auto zone on Valley and that gentleman was so helpful. He ordered my part for me and everything was complete in less than 2 minutes. Thank you Auto zone for letting me know which one is the best go one to with.

I can't give zero stars. Worker (who may have been the manager) was OBNOXIOUS to my wife to the point of making her cry and leave the store. I will never do business with this store if that behavior is acceptable to management.

Had to replace the battery in my jeep. They had a few different ones in stock, ranging in price. Also was able to borrow some tools to replace the battery right at their store. Just wished other people hadnt have borrowed most of them and not return them.. This is the second battery i have purchased from AZ, the other one lasted about 5 years.

I bought two windshields for my wife cars and the cashier charged me for a extra thing that is it long life bulbs I have my received and my two items

The guys who work at this place are rarely helpful, it is like their feet are anchored behind the counter (even pre-covid 19). Your best bet is to hope the older Hispanic gentleman at the "service desk" or the older caucasian gentleman are there; they are the only 2 knowledgeable & helpful people who work there. If possible, I go out of my way to visit another location.

Update 2022: these people don't know what they're. Sold me the wrong part. Guaranteed it would fit. It didn't. Surprise.2020: Rude and indifferent employees. High prices.Where do your lines start??? This is a constant issue.

Had to return six $8 apiece spark plugs that would not work on the vehicle I told them manager was very short with me when I ask for a refund because I didn't have the paper receipt that being said the electronic receipt was in the computer under my phone number so I was forced to accept a gift card not cool

*Please read* Usually pretty good service.The reason for this 4star rating is as follows:This Autozone branch is generally nice, with good services. I've had mostly good experience with this store, and don't have many complaints. However, this store is almost always very busy, and is under staffed. With the amount of clientele they get, this store could afford to be 3x the size as well. To some it up, it's a good store and they usually have what you might needs, but you might have to wait inline for awhile to get it

Stood in line for half an hour waiting to get just one gallon of oil. Both workers were out from behind the counter. Be nice to see someone checking people out that didn t need help finding stuff on the shelf. Horrible service
