IF YOU HAVE AFTERMARKET RIMS DO NOT COME HERE!!! This shop absolutely destroyed my rims. I noticed it right when I got to the vacuum spot at Flagstop that something wasn't right. (See photos attached) I immediately called the shop owner, and he began to come up with ways that it could've happened other than his mechanic causing the problem. Once I brought it back up to the shop and let him look at it, it was clear that it was caused by an impact gun from where they took the lug nuts off my rims. He told me he wouldn't be paying for the damages. I told him I wanted them fixed, I don't care how he does it. He proceeded to call a rim specialist to cover up the marks on every hole on the rims. it has been about two months since and I can already see the scratches all over my rims again. I paid $2000 for these rims and now I won't even be able to resell them for $500 if I wanted too..... it's just pure laziness and carelessness by the mechanic and shop owner. This company does not care about your vehicle and just wants to get you in and out the door as fast as possible. The mechanics are all young kids that probably could care less about what happens to your car as well as their position with the company. If you have a nice car, just take it somewhere else. I took it here because it was a little cheaper than other places but now I see why. I will be taking the more expensive route from now on. Shame on you Allen tire.

Walked in for inspection and the folks here are very good about getting you in if they have the space. Problem is I walked out the door thinking my car had passed inspection and that I could get on with my work week. After going over a few borderline issues they handed me the keys and off I went. I didn t notice until I got into the car and looked over the paperwork that the car had been rejected. So I had about 2 min of satisfaction before walking back in and it being brushed off like no big deal.A few years ago I dropped off my 2002 Forester for diagnosis due to constant humming while driving, after having it for the day Allen tire recommended transmission replacement.I took it to the Subaru guy in town and it was a rear wheel bearing. $380 fixed vs 3,000 and the same hum. This I imagine was technician based but it would have been a real bad experience for me and the shop.They are a great local shop but I urge everyone to follow their diagnosis with a second opinion or you could be short thousands and have the same issue totally unrelated to the fix.

They used to be a good place to go but things changed. If you can t Leave your car with them for a day then you get scheduled for three weeks out. I m sad to have to find a new shop for my cars.

Wanted to give a shout out to Paul. For all my car people out there definitely request him. Paul took care of my blown tire on my bagged g37 IPL like it was his own. Took precautions to make sure my fender didn t get damaged, and made sure I was good to go. Thank you again Paul!

Laurie and the mechanics are the best! My parents have been using this place for my entire life and they have always taken great care of our cars. When I moved up north it has been difficult to find a place I trust not to scam me as I am a young women who doesn t know anything about cares. I was in town this weekend and Allen Tire was able to do an inspection in record time, and as always took excellent care of my car!

I was getting ready for a little road trip on a Saturday morning and discovered my spare tire valve stem was leaking badly, preventing the tire from holding air. A lot of shops are closed on Saturday, but Allen Tire of Chester was open until 3 PM. I called, they said they could replace the stem that day. Took the wheel and tire to them, dropped it off, a couple hours later and it's fixed and ready to pick up. Fast service and I felt the fee was appropriate.

I dislike getting nails in my tires but I always love going to Allen Tire! Always accommodating and often on short notice. Super friendly and really good folks! On top of all that is quality work!

I have worked with Allen Tire employees for thousands of dollars of repairs, replacements and oil changes. I have always been pleased with the quality of work and customer service I have received from them. It has been one of the most reliable and honest repair shops I have ever worked with.April 2022: Had a state inspection today and ended up needing some work done, they quoted me tomorrow and finished today! Amazing effort by the capable staff and fantastic customer service.

Very disappointed in the service received. I scheduled vehicle inspections for two vehicles. I did what they said drop one off the night before, get a call to tell me that can't take the other vehicle today and can't reschedule until the 29th. Professionalism out the door. This will be the last time we deal with Allen tires!

We were on our way to vacation on 95 when we blew a tire, luckily close to our hotel. We called Allen Tire first thing in the morning hoping they could get us a special order tire. Not only were they able to special order a tire that morning, but they got it in quicker than expected. Rob took a look at the rest of our tires since we still had a long drive ahead of us. He noticed we were close to losing a second tire, did not force a second tire on us at all, and let us come out into the shop to look at it. We decided to get the second tire and Rob called it in immediately. After they took the tire off they realized it was worse than it looked. Had he not taken the time to look into that tire we would have been in bad shape. Wonderful hospitality, great work, and good people. Can t recommend this shop enough.

After a transmission fluid change my transmission was slipping on the way home. Next day I brought it back so they could take a look. Apparently my Benz didn't like the aftermarket filter that was installed so they dropped the pan again and installed an OEM filter. Allen put their best tech on the job and absorbed the extra labor and supplies cost, no questions asked. Every shop can make a mistake (though not even sure this was their fault) but not every shop will quickly take care of it like they did. Rob provides excellent customer service.

I had an appointment at 10 O'clock wed morning. An as the many times that i have taken either of my vehicle's in for minor or major repair. The employees starting at the front desk with Rob or Laura. To the gentleman in the service area i have never gotten but professional an up most respect. I will continue to have my repairs done at Allen Tire. An i encourage any one to have there vehicle's serviced there.

While returning from Canada to N Carolina, my wife stopped at a near by food place. The car would not start afterwards.I work for a parts place and called the local shop who recommended a local service shop.I called them but they were to busy and recommended Allen Tire. I spoke with Lori/Laurie who said she could get my wife's car in fairly quickly.They got her in quickly and expecting a replacement of some part (starter)we were pleasantly surprised to find out their honestly when it was a small broken wire connector. New terminal and she was on her way home.THANK YOU for taking care of wife and getting her serviced so quickly!It's nice to know great shops like this one are still out there!!If we lived near them, they'd be our service shop!

I went here to get 4 new tires. They quoted me a price that was a little high, but I am not from the area and didn't want to hassle with going anywhere else since I was already there. I went ahead and got the tires. A couple hours later, I went back, picked up my car and left. As soon as I started driving away, I heard a clacking noise coming from one of my tires. I thought it might be a piece of gravel stuck in the tire, so I didn't worry about it. The noise wouldn't go away and I was heading east on Hundred Rd. just crossing the 95. I pulled over to inspect the tire and found a screw in it JUST after I bought the tires! I knew that since I heard the noise as I was driving away from Allen Tire that the tire most likely picked up the screw at their shop. I called back and let them know what happened and asked them if they could repair the tire since I JUST bought them. The lady I talked to was short and uncaring on the phone. She pretty much told me that they weren't going to do anything to help me remedy the situation. Tire plugs are CHEAP! It would have cost them less than $1 to plug the hole in the tire, but instead this lady thought it made more sense to be rude and inconsiderate to me on the phone about the situation. Because of this horrible customer service, I will never go back and I recommend you never go in the first place. I was able to plug the tire myself at the Wawa station down the road after I got off the phone with them, but I was shocked that they decided it would be better for their business to tell me "tough luck" (after I spent $600+) instead of plugging the hole for less than $1. Good thinking, Allen Tire. Now you've lost one customer and potentially many more.

Beware BIG rip off. I took my car (04 Honda Accord) here for a state inspection. They failed it bc a headlight was foggy. Quoted me around $150 to clean both headlights/$70 for one. I went to Walmart bought a $3.88 can of OFF bug spray and wiped my headlights clean. I took it back for a $1 reinspection and passed. I can only imagine the upcharges on actual repairs. In my opinion they were not looking out for the customer s s best interest but instead trying to make a buck. I can get both headlights replaced brand new and go out to lunch for less than $150. I knew better but I feel bad for anyone who doesn t and gives their hard earned money! Shame on you Allen Tire!

I just moved down to Chester from upstate, NY. I was looking for a good, honest shop to take my car for oil changes, repairs, etc. My sister, and grandmother both recommended Allen Tire, and I'm so glad they did. I went to get my oil changed, and asked if they could test my battery for me, and they did without any problem. They also noticed that two of my tires needed to be replaced, and saw that my check engine light was on. So, they asked me if I wanted them to check that out for me. I already knew what the issue was, but I thought it was really kind of them to offer! I'm definitely going back for any and all work needed on my car!

Very pleased with their quick service. Went there to get 4 new tires and was in and out in about an hour. Laurie is AWESOME!!! Highly recommend.

A-1 service hands down! Friendly staff, very knowledgeable and they do excellent work. We have never been disappointed with any of their services. It says a lot when an establishment has hundreds upon hundres of customers but still knows you by name- it says A LOT to me. Allen Tire remains our #1 go-to for auto care.

They called me to remind me that my state inspection was due this month. I was in need.of an oil change at that moment so i scheduled both plus a tire rotation. All together unpaid less there than I normally do for just an oil change down the road. I will be staying here from now on. The service surpasses expectations and I am now a permanent customer. Thanks!!!

My family has been taking our cars here for years and always have a positive experience. The staff is personable, and honest. They ve been honest about not finding problems with our cars in a couple of cases and not charging for it. Highly recommend!

I dropped my truck off for an inspection and added tire rotation & balance. Allen Tire took care of everything and called when the truck was ready. I was happy with the service and price.

As always you guys did a great job! Laurie and your guys always advise me well. I own a 2007 C230 Mercedes Benz. When you can assist or do the work you do, but when its a Mercedes specific issue you always let me know and even give me a ball park figure as to what the issue may be and what the cost associated with it may cost. All in all I continue to leave your location happy, confident and satisfied that I have been well taken care of and have been in good hands! Allen Tire Goodyear is the absolute best auto care shop in the Chesterfield and Richmond area. Laurie is the most knowledgeable and honest people in the auto industry. Always provide great work at really great prices. This is a staple in the community and we will always go to Allen Tire for our vehicle service needs!!!!

I went in there to get an estimate on tires. Although I found a more inexpensive place, the staff at the Allen Tire were expedient and courteous.

Do not get your engine replaced here is all im gonna say! Got my engine replaced and ever since then I've taken it back twice or 3 times and about to take it back again. Oil pressure gauge keeps coming on and loud beeping sound indicator. I wanted to take it to another shop initially that I had an engine replaced before with no problem but they didn't have the particular one for my car. I would think this being a big franchise that I wouldn't have any issues.
