Astute professionals that won t up-charge and are very transparent on what they know and don t know. Prices are very reasonable and customer service and expertise are TOP tier. Andrew worked around my busy schedule to allow me to pick up my car at a convenient hour around my schedule and they were very good at keeping me informed of the status of my car daily. Highly recommend them for any foreign or high end cars. They did amazing work on my Mercedes Benz.

I m very particular about my vehicles, and, who works on them. Moved to Chesapeake a few years ago and a huge concern for me was finding a trustworthy shop. I have multiple shops close by (including Traynor) and tried out a couple of them for small things. None made me comfortable. It was back during the pandemic when I ran into big problems getting state inspections. One place kept one of my cars for 4 days!! That s when I tried Traynor. While they weren t able to take me as a walk in, they had me come in 2 days later and I was in and out in about an hour.While waiting, I had the opportunity to meet and talk to Andrew. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and also found out that there was a technician there that had great knowledge and experience with the Ford 7.3L diesel trucks, of which I own one of.As a team, they have always listened to what I want done, they lay out a plan and then explain everything they are proposing. And when I pick up the vehicle, they always go over what they did.I m so glad I gave them a try as they are my exclusive shop for all 3 vehicles now.

I had my VW Passat at Traynor twice in the past, for relatively important work. Once for front suspension work and the other for AC replacement. These guys are very, very honest and upfront. There is no fast talk nor funny business. Give these guys a try. They are my shop of choice for all automotive repairs. Great work, honest people and fair prices.

Traynor automotive is the best mechanic shop in the area and is the only mechanic shop I will ever take my vehicles to. Andrew and his crew explain everything very well in detail and are extremely polite and professional. They also are very flexible with everything and will support you in anyway they can. Going to a mechanic shop is not always a fun time because you have to spend money but I look forward to every time I have to go to Traynor automotive because I get to talk to Andrew.

The worst experience! The mechanic was very unprofessional and was only trying to do limited work when I was willing to spend money to get the car to where it needed to be. When we decided to not have him do the work he raised his voice and started swearing at me. I wouldnt even give him 1 star/ update all you have to see is how argumentative he is to a reply on a bad experience from a customers view and this is the type of business you would be dealing with. Let s just blame the customer everything I said in my review was the truth there is no need to lie that makes no sense.

I m always inclined to patronize small business and the folks at Traynor have never disappointed. I have six cars and all but two have been through there for something. I ve never been upsold and have had work put off that I didn t need. I think pricing is fair and their quality of work and honesty is on point.

Good old fashioned mechanics shop where they seem to know and care about what's going on with your vehicle. They were honest about options and they weren't pushy but getting a bunch of things done in addition to what we went in for. While the location and the building may not look traditional like strip mall mechanics might, finding a good, honest mechanic is hard these days and I highly recommend you give them a shot.

It brought me back to when I was a kid, and I had to take the car to the local garage. Good ole boys that know what they're doing and want your business. Ken was great to talk to and even though I didn't want to hear what the repair is going to be (water pump on a Taurus, look it up, yikes!) I am confident that they'll fix it right. it's not the fanciest place but they are local, and in this case local is better!

Charged over double what they quoted me. Kept me waiting until the oil change was almost done to "sign paperwork" then told me I didn't need paperwork. Wasted over an hour of my time when I could have gone home and come back. Also kept me waiting another 15 minutes because they lost my keys. Waited and waited until the guy who went to "get my keys" walked by and asked why I was still there. When I said I was still waiting on my keys, he seemed clueless on where they were then told me to check my car. He had left them in my car unattended with the door unlocked for over 15 minutes without telling me, putting my car at risk of getting stolen. Very rude and unprofessional and very dishonest. Tried to slander me because I left a bad review when having the same problem as other people. Not my fault they overcharge everybody on inspections and oil changes. There were even similar reviews left way before mine. Never going back.Service: Oil change

Andrew and his team at Traynor were top notch professionals. Took my Xterra in for a couple of various issues. They deep dived into it, explained everything along the way and provided me with frequent updates.First time customer. Andrew (the owner) was very generous with his time and went over all the recommended maintenance on a vehicle I was purchasing even though I was out of state and wasnt going to be able to have him do the work. He could have easily have rushed me off the phone but he didnt and I was very grateful for us advice. Id highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area. He is a Toyota lover like myself and he himself has an old 4runner just like me. He worked at Toyota back in the early 2000's.

Charged me $113 for an oil change after quoting $45 over the phone with no extra maintenance done. They gave me the quote of $45 after I gave them the year, make, and model of my car. The bill was completely ridiculous. In addition to charging all sorts of labor fees, even using the "nicer oil" they used, they charged me twice as much just for the oil as it would cost at Walmart in addition to the labor charges. People were disorganized, rude, and unprofessional. I will be going back to Firestone instead of here next time.Service: Oil change

Very unprofessional !!!! Never fixed my problem after 7 total days and got my truck back with 3 scratches on driver side of the bed!! Thanks Andrew ,your not the mechanic for me!!! Tell Kyle Moore the true story next time. UPDATE: I took my pickup to the dealer and sure enough it was exactly what I told Andrew it was " THE FUEL PUMP "!!Maybe if Andrew was so honest he would give me a refund.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We are new to the area and needed to find a trustworthy place to take our vehicles for service. I did a lot of research and came across Traynor's! They are close by and have fantastic reviews. Our experience with them validated all of the worderful things people are saying about them and we couldn't be happier with the efficient, thorough service provided by kind and compassionate people! We only needed an inspection this time around but will be back with our other vehicles when more services are needed! They care about more than just your car, they care about you as a friend and that means so much. The annual vehicle inspection was excessive and the comments communicated were unnecessary. The inspection lasted for 50 plus minutes of trying to find a problem. I definitely wouldn't refer this car care center to a female or patronize.

Excellent service and repair. Technicians very knowledgeable in diagnostics. Completed my service and repair in a very timely manner. Would highly recommend this services center for routine service and minor to major repairs.

My air conditioner quit working in my suv on all sides except for the driver side vents. Another mechanic quoted $1,500 to repair. Traynor confirmed that the blend door was working as it was designed to and that we only needed to top off the A.C. We are very grateful for all the money saved as well as how quick they were about the whole process.9.27.22We've returned to Traynor several times since my initial review. They've been able to take care of items and issues that were beyond my ability. They have repaired door locks that became unresponsive in my Rav4 and they repaired the 4wd issue that kept my Sequoia in 2wd. I continue to highly recommend Traynor.

Well how to start. Been going to Andrew for a good amount of time now. The first time was in front of my condo doing work on my Kia right in my driveway!!! I would never go any where else to have some one open the hood of one of my vehicles. But just not Andrew himself all the people that work there are terrific!! Well see you this week for the truck!!

Once again,I've realized I made the right choice. Go in for two rear tires and Andrew notices I need rear brakes. He even takes me in and shows me. Of course I don't want to have to spend the money,but what if he hadn't told me? Best and most honest shop you will ever find. I know just enough about cars to know he knows his stuff. Feel lucky that I met Andrew and his family and staff!!

It only takes one visit for any maintenance or vehicle repair to know that you made a wise decision. Thoroughly explains what needs to be done prior to fixing vehicle and helps you take the best course of action whenever cost/value decisions must be made. They have made several minor and a few major repairs to my vehicles and the work quality has been top notch every time. If you value integrity and customer service, give Andrew a visit. Traynor Automotive will earn your return business.

Excellent, local people! I had an inspection with zero problems. (Except for the screw they found lodged in an otherwise good tire). Plus, they have free wi-fi. Forget the big chains. Come here. They treat you right.
