Our salesman Trenton Abernathy was great. He listened and exceeded my expectations. The manager Jose Gonzalez provided me with deal options that I wasn t aware of. A upgrade to be exact. Which gave me more car within my price range. Justin Carr in finance was very informative and helped me get a complete maintenance package where I don t have no pay out of pocket for ANYTHING! This dealership has great finance & maintenance options. The staff is very accommodating and they LISTEN.

I am dissatisfy with the service department! It been in there three different time for the same thing. First they tell me not to jump it; so the last time we didn't jump the car for they could test it! They said before; since we jump; they couldn't put the tester on it to see what the problem was! But that wasn't the case! And also nobody ever called me on the status of the car. I had a Appointment of Friday morning and they didn't get to until Saturday!. Which I didn't got a update so I called late Friday to see what the status was! Your service department needs to keep the customer up to date on a regular bases. If it wasn't for me calling to see the status who know when I would get a call! Jack

My experience with Southern was extremely pleasant from Nancy at Service to Alex G and Jose in sales, and Justin in Finance. I came into the shop in a really tough situation and within a week they were able to get me into a car that I was comfortable with for a fair and honest price. Alex did a phenomenal job finding me a vehicle that fit my needs and was practical for my situation and was extremely patient during the entire process. Really have to give it up to him for not being the typical car salesman and being pushy, he handled himself with great integrity and respect. Everyone was real upfront and honest about the entire process and it really made me feel like I was valued and taken care of. I took my suburban in for an oil change and two weeks later they told me it needed a new engine. Once I check the oil level, I saw that it barely read on the dipstick. I truly believe the oil was drained and none was put back into the engine leading to the engine to fail. It was a 2015 suburban with 65,000 miles. This should have never happened! I ve been a Chevrolet owner all my life, and have totally lost all confidence in your product. The truck had only been serviced by Southern Chevrolet Dealership in Chesapeake Virginia.

We purchased a 2023 Chevy Blazer. Trenton Abernathy was our salesman. He was fantastic. Listened to the features we were looking for and then went over the vehicle to its entirety. The Sales Manager Joe Gonzalez was also great. He worked with us to get us where we needed to be to feel comfortable purchasing the vehicle and then there was Justin Carr in Finance. Went over the paperwork as quickly as he could since it was getting late and advised if any questions, to give him a call. Wonderful service from all 3 of these gentlemen.

Took my Suburban in for inspection. Dealership had changed hands in the past year, so points that I had earned, from damage that my windshield, by previous opener of company no longer counted. I wasn t happy to hear this news, but the new owners crew did an excellent job of inspecting my vehicle and identifying a few issues that needed attention. I authorized the additional work, which would not have failed the inspection. The work was done in a professional manner, I even crawled under the vehicle and inspected the work performed.Bottom line, was that all work was performed in a professional manner at a responsible fee and done in a timely manner.

First of all I was greeted with cheerfulness by Marty, which made me feel comfortable, and that I came into the right place. And then I met a bubbly guy named Justin, which helped out very well too. I also ran across some other good employees Mr. Trent, Mr. Jose and Danny they all was good with helping me make my decision and I can say that I am happy with my 2019 Chevy equinox black on black. So I do recommend if anyone is looking for a car to go to Southern Chevy on Western branch Boulevard and asked for either one of these guys. You definitely will be greeted with a smile and positive energy by Marty. And feel as you gained a caring friend with Justin. He stayed back late to make sure I was good and that meant a lot . And a cool salsa friend Jose was good and patient too. But kudos they all was good though thanks guys..

I wanted to give a big shout out to the few people who helped me in securing my vehicle thank you to Marty who assisted me with a warm welcome when I came in the first time to the store and was all for trying to help me find a vehicle that would fit me and for helping me throughout the process I wanted to say thank you to Joseph for securing my car so I was able to come in and get it before someone else did a really big shout out to Alex for helping me with all my issues about the car and instantly finding ways to fix the issues that I had about the car and JT who even tho he didn't know the particular store that well because he wasn't usually at that store he did an amazing job with helping me in the finance department thank you to all of you!!! I would highly recommend anyone to go here to get your next vehicle these people have a warm welcome and make you feel right at home while your there! And they have decent prices on their vehicles.

After receiving plenty of attitude and zero service from Southern Hyundai Chesapeake, the sister dealership Southern Chevrolet was able to service my Hyundai vehicle on short notice, with professionalism and courtesy. Of particular note was the care and understanding of the emergency of my situation by Mr. Stephen Harvel. Top notch AAA+ service rep. The Southern Hyundai Chesapeake service department should take notes and emulate quality customer service.

They fixed the problem. The same problem returned within days. After over a week of checking with the possibility of me maybe having to pay $2,400 for an outside inspector. They changed the motor. It was covered by the warranty. Another week without my truck. Picked it up after almost 3 weeks. The engine light came back on before I got home. It is for a different reason. I have an appointment for tomorrow. I am not very unhappy at the moment. I hope to be able to give a better review, later.Updating my comments.My truck has been fixed since my first survey. The team worked hard to find and fix the problem. Thank you team for your help.
