They did a front end alignment on my '72 Cutlass Supreme and I couldn't be happier! Jeremy had me in within 10 minutes after I arrived and I was back on the road in less than an hour! Rummels has been extremely helpful and honest about working on my vehicles. Fr general repair to engine work. Plus they back up their work! They replaced an alternator for us, but in a week the alternator failed (not their fault, but the makers of the part). Rummels came 40 miles away towed it back, repaired and replaced with out any costs! They never pushed back or anything, just helpful. They say always find a good mechanic and a good handyman you can trust. Well here is your mechanic.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Integrity and fantastic customer service. I had a level and tires put on my 2018 F150 by a local off-road shop that uses Rummels for alignment. Rummels tech found one of my tie rods was worn and the alignment would not hold. They could have sent me on my way and took my money but, they noticed the mileage and age of truck and knew it was still under warranty. I was notified and alignment cost removed from my bill. I took truck to dealer and had tie rod replaced and alignment done under my warranty. The dealer stated (Priority Ford) they could not get alignment within specs because of aftermarket parts (level kit) and possible replacement part from prior accident. I forgot to mention the dealer had also inspected the truck 4 days before and did not find bad tie rod. I think because warranty was about to expire. Anyway, because of Rummels honesty I took the truck straight back to them and they checked alignment to verify what dealer said. Not only did we discover they were wrong, but the alignment was not correct. Rummels corrected the alignment FREE OF CHARGE on the spot. These guys are the epitome of Integrity and will have my business for life.Service: Wheel alignment

Refused to do a fuel pressure test and do not know how to troble shoot a problem apparently. My mechanic who regretfully passed away last year would have done the pressure test no problem, I went here hoping to find a new mechanic I could trust and just got a old guy telling me the truck runs fine . No sir it does not , misfiring and a blinking check engine light at high speed under a load is not running good , get a new profession if you dont want to help people, what a joke

Jeremy and Matt are nothing less than TRIPLE AWESOME! I wish there were more than FIVE starts to give!I had an inspection at another location and they told me I needed new rotors and brakes. $450 job. Rummel's Automotive inspected the vehicle no less than 2 weeks later with nothing done. I only needed a LIGHT BULB!Go here for your auto repairs. FAIR, HONEST, EFFICIENT.

Jeremy is the go to guy in this area for gears for Mustangs. A week later and no issues at all. Puts a smile on my face every time I open the throttle up. Friendly staff, professional and knows exactly what he is talking about. Highly recommend Rummel Automotive.

Quoted me a price then charged me a higher price because they forgot to include a couple parts in their original quote. Replaced parts but didn't test before putting back together and new part doesnt work or didn't fix the problem. Did not replace all the parts I was quoted. The price mark up for the repair parts was over 300% more expensive than the exact same parts cost if I bought them myself.

Local Chesapeake shop with talented mechanics and friendly customer service. There's only two shop's in Hampton Roads that I allow to work on my high horsepower street car, and Rummel's Automotive is one of them.
