To make a long story somewhat short. A elderly lady hit my car while I was at work went through the insurance process like normal and her insurance had to pay for the damages but they wanted to do it through body shops through them. I chose this company because I worked beside them for years at another Shop down the road and I heard that they were good choice so I went with them. Everything was good and professional until I received my car. on the receipt it said front left fender was painted and replaced along with the front bumper and LF headlight.. the fender was sprayed over with a couple coats of clear to the point it looks good but if you have any auto paint experience it was a half*ss job and fender was still the same with the dent with a painted bumper which is also half*ss in the photo below. I take accountability for the small peevish attitude I had but for them to carry my complaint so lightly like my opinion didn t matter is what really killed the experience for this company and I Don t recommend them (this job was only done a few months ago)..

Meghan, Erica and Tiffany were fantastic and helpful and friendly. Went the extra mile to get the insurance company to extend my rental despite their unwillingness to do their part. The work looks amazing and even washed it. Felt like I just bought a brand new car when I walked up to it. Thank you so much guys.

We cannot even begin to thank this establishment for all that they provided to us when another body shop failed to complete the repair on our damaged vehicle. For 4 months we dealt with the first shop. There was an issue with a backordered part. Two months in with no communication from the first shop, we called Tiffany, at Mike's, and she confirmed the backorder status and gave us good info from her sources as to when production would start back up on the part we needed. And we had never been a customer of Mike's. After 4 months of getting nowhere, we found the part in Richmond and received permission from our insurance company to have Mike's order the part and complete the job. They did it in 24 hours, and we had more text updates and phone calls from Mike's in 24 hours than we had total in the four months we "tried" working with the first body shop. We certainly hope we won't need a body shop any time soon, but it's comforting to know we have a shop now we can trust. Thanks again to Tiffany, Erica and EVERYONE there who completed our repair.

Unfortunately, my 2017 Honda Pilot has needed body and paint repairs after incidents of being hit. Both incidents (one from six years ago and just recently less than two weeks ago). FORTUNATELY, I took a chance on Mike's Paint & Body II six years ago. I have and will continue to highly recommend Mike's Paint & Body II Inc. The staff and employees are extremely friendly, professional, and responsive. They do beautiful work. I cannot be happier with the outcomes. Both times, the work was completed, and my vehicle was ready for pick up by the estimated date provided at the beginning of the process.Thank you to all the staff and employees at Mike's Paint & Body II. My Pilot looks awesome!!

Great place I ve had them work on two of my vehicles. One repair was a couple years ago it was ~$500 dollars of body damage. Couldn t even tell it had ever been hit in a parking lot. Most recently I had ~$10k dollars worth of repairs done after I was rear ended at ~35 mph. Excellent work it took a little longer than expected due to back ordered parts because of COVID but all delays were clearly communicated to me. Friendly office staff. One of the individuals who was performing the repairs even took his time out to go over the work to be done and addressed my concerns before the repairs even took place. These people were super helpful and most of all, available to look at my car after someone creased the fender. There was another place not even a mile away that wanted two weeks to just look at my car. These people even went so far as to call the rental car place for me for a pickup.

Always an excellent experience dealing with Mikes Auto Body II, a reliable body and shop, and man, this place dont disappoint. The ladies at the front were so nice, and everything was easy to set up. kept me updated with repairs. After repairs were completed with my F150 work done by another body shop, I immediately dropped my car off and was able to get repairs done in a timely manner and back on the road. Thank you to the staff at Mike's auto body. Recommend them for your vehicle body repair this is the place to go in the Hampton roads. It definitely has the family owned vibe there. Would definitely recommend thank you again.....

Chose this shop through my insurance company. They called today July 20 and told me they can t even do an estimate for over a month until August 22nd at the earliest for a small job. That s over a month just for an estimate, which will probably take no more than 30 minutes. Then who knows how long it ll take if they have to order and receive parts so they can start the repairs. I ll choose another shop to take my business to.

Car mirror got crunched, the type that rotates when you walk up to or away, has lane alerts, etc. Insurance company gave me a cpl choices as to shops and appt times/dates, said they'd confirm w/Mike's Paint&Body (Chesapeake) the appt I'd chosen. Took off work, got to Mike's, and found out the insur. agent had not confirmed the appt. because it was at a time of day and day of the week Mike's doesn't do that type of repair. No fluffy ray of sparkles shooting off my face at that point. "Erica" (front desk) didn't get ruffled, was calm, courteous, and immed. said she'd get me taken care of, despite the insur. screwup (deftly handling like the character "Donna" from Suits). Mike came out and was friendly, patient, took photos, and I was able to get back to work w/o leaving the car there. Erica informed me via text, phone, and email every step of the way. Paint job (pearl white) and mirror replacement were flawless, electronics work fine. Excellent service from all-

I was so happy with the gals in the office so friendly and also kept me up to date on everything . My car turned out wonderful and I was so impressed they even cleaned the entire car inside and out :) . Mike s Paint and Body Shop Chesapeake, did an awesome job repairing my Cadillac. They kept me updated during the repair, finished it earlier than expected, did a great job detailing the interior and exterior. Excellent work and service!! After my car was hit in the parking lot of my work. I took it to Mike's. I picked it up yesterday and I can't tell there was ever any damage. I'm so happy about that. Plus everyone I had contact with there was very knowledgeable and friendly. Top quality body shop!

This is the second time trusting Mike s with our paint and collision repair and both times the vehicle looks brand new. It s tough to find consistent quality like this company especially with many years in between. My vehicle was also completed faster than expected. USAA directed me to Mike's Paint & Body II as one of USAA's approved collision repair centers. After a minor accident on i64 that damaged one side of my vehicle, Mike's Paint and Body very professionally handled the estimate and repair for USAA. The shop sent daily progress emails, and the front desk staff was very helpful. Mike personally went out of his way to provide exceptional service when I needed my vehicle back as promised in time for a weekend trip. Got rear ended in my 2016 f-150 on the interstate. Luckily my truck is lifted so nothing to bad but I looked around for a reliable body and shop and man this place did not disappoint. The ladies at the front were so nice and everything was easy to setup. Dropped my truck off and got updates every few days via text. In a week and a half my bumper was brand spanking new. Definitely has the family owned vibe there. Would definitely recommend.Service: Body & Trim

I had a fantastic experience with this body shop. My car needed a good bit if work but they completed the work quickly and with great care! They cleaned it afterwards and were so helpful with calls and updates about the state of the car. Will definitely go here again next time my car needs work done!

Can t say enough about this place. I had some work done on my Forester when someone backed into my parked car a year ago. Like them so much that I just took my other car there last week to have the rear bumper replaced, on my own dime this time. The work is impeccable, fast, and priced fairly. The front desk staff is so friendly and accommodating, and great at keeping up communication throughout the process. ** Update** I had to use Mike's again for damage on the front end of my vehicle. Once again the services was excellent, the cost could not be beat and my vehicle was returned back to me quickly good as new. As much as I like Mike's and Carla, I hope to not be back for awhile.I needed the back tailgate of my vehicle repaired. Carla gave me a fair and accurate estimate. The work was completed on time and my tailgate looks as good as new. To make things even better, my vehicle was cleaned inside and out so there was no more evidence of the accident. I'll use them again and highly recommend them to all my friends and family.Service: Body & Trim

We had a work truck damaged in front bumper section due to deer collision and was recommended to Mikes by our car dealer. Mikes did excellent work in what I thought to be a very timely manner. Then, I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up the truck to find that they had detail cleaned not just the outside, but completely cleaned the inside (though they didn't have to work in the truck at all). What a nice touch! As a fellow Chesapeake business owner, I would recommend them!

3 stars based on decent work. However, some areas were repaired better than others and my car still had scratches from my accident. Mike's tried buffing out the paint marks, but whatever didn't come out from buffing, they left as is. When they saw scratches underneath the paint, they should have done more.Based on the fact that I filed an insurance claim, I was expecting complete repairs.

If you are looking for a Mechanic who will tell you the truth, charge a fair amount, and complete expert repairs, then this is the place to go. I have had my car repaired here twice. Mike always does excellent work and goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. So, I bought a new car on July 8th, 2019 and Unfortunately, I was in accident on February 2020. I was completely distraught as this was the second time in under a year that someone has hit my car and this time my car looked bad. Lucky for me, State Farm connected me with Mike's Paint & Body because my car was absolutely stunning when i picked her up. She looked just like new, detailed and all. It brought me to tears. I am truly grateful and will always be. Not to mention the young lady at the front is really pleasant , knowledgeable, and personable. And above all , they finished my car an entire week earlier than expected. I was beyond satisfied, and I would recommend them to anyone !!!!! Thank you so Much Mike's Paint & Body !

My car was rear-ended by a State Farm policy holder and Mike's Paint and Body is one of their preferred repair shops. I am so glad it is! From start to finish my experience was professional, pleasant and positive. The replacement parts and paint job are perfect to the finest details. I cannot imagine having a bad experience with this company.

Highly recommend! Went here for an insurance claim thru State Farm when my truck got hit in a parking lot. Staff is friendly and courteous. Facility is very clean. They called with updates on the repairs and even washed the truck inside and out before returning it. Most importantly the repairs were flawless. They were able to match the paint perfectly. Overall was a great and professional experience. They took care of all the paperwork. Would recommend going here over a dealership any day. This place is legit!
