Amazing fast service! Took my car in to have tires mounted and rotated first thing this morning. Even though they didnt have their "tire guy" in yet, they managed to get my work done and have me out within 30 minutes. Incredible. Thank you GB Service Center!

Stopped in to ask a couple questions about state inspections and they were able to squeeze me into the schedule last minute. Jake was quick, informative and easy to work with. The whole experience was great including the ladies behind the desk. I highly recommend coming here.

Brought my car in for a safety inspection. I check over my cars before I take them in. I picked up my car with a bent wiper arm, 2 month wiper blade rubbers ripped end to end, loose wiper arm assembly, and what turned out to be new scratches on my windshield. The staff there vehemently denied any responsibility. A brunette woman stormed off on me when I asked further questions about the new windshield damage. Curious thing was my wiper arm was out of position with the nut loose, the front desk employee admitted to taking off one of my windshield cowling pieces without off without snapping it back. If no foul play, why would you take off my cowling? I highly doubt my seasoned mechanic left the wiper arm nut loose causing wiper misalignment.Apparently after 'discovering' my wipers collided, they thought it was a good idea to put on a new blade and run them again. The new blade flew off and the new windshield scratches were parallel to the wiper blade tracking. My windshield wiper repair shop confirmed the scratches likely came from the wiper flying off. The responsibility should be on this shop since the damage from wiper flying off was from them installing a new wiper blade without my permission and running the unaligned wipers again for whatever reason (they could not give me a reason why they did this). Wiper blades don't just 'fly off' unless it was not installed correctly.Fortunately the windshield damage was only surface level, however had it been an actual crack they still would not hold themselves accountable. The female manager there refused to let me see any footage.Lesson learned. Take pictures of your car before dropping it off. If any damage occurs do not leave until you get a VA State police to come write a written report and provide an independent assessment (the front desk did not offer this option to me). That may be the only way you as a customer can view the footage.Added one star for the owner Dave taking the time to patiently hear me out, replacing one wiper blade, and finishing out the inspection promptly. However, he was not on site the day any of this happened to have the whole picture, and in the end still deflected any responsibility.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I've been bringing my cars here for four years. I would probably still consider bringing my vehicles here if I lived an hour away. The mechanics are honest craftsmen and the customer service staff is courteous and professional.

Great Bridge Service Center operates with integrity and honesty. They just installed a new A/C compressor to my truck with 187k+mi and it was done in half a day, just like they said at the price they quoted. They're fixed three vehicles for me that needed major repairs. to They do outstanding work and communicate very well throughout the repair process. I trust them and I very highly recommend.

We stored our car at Atlantic Yacht Basin over the winter. We arrived back in May by boat to find it had some problems. It's an old car so it wasn't unexpected. We took it across the road to Great Bridge Service Center and explained the problems (brake lines were leaking, and we needed it looked over).We're not from the area. It's discomforting to have to rely on strangers for this. It's so easy to be taken advantage of. But nothing like that happened here. Chris was outstanding in calling us and letting us know what they were finding - he made 4 calls over 2 days - who could ask for more than that? He realized that it was an old car and we didn't want to spend a lot of money fixing it.The work they did was exceptional and the final bill was very fair and reasonable. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to garage for any car issue. These guys are honest, capable, and just nice people to work with.

I normally don t post reviews but this the second postive experience I have had with this establishment. The first one was when my car would not start at the 7/11 a shot walk away. I walked to the service center and explain what happened and what I thought was going on. A mechanic walked back with me and checked out my car for me. He noticed it was just the battery and gave me a jump. I offered to pay and he declined. Not to mention, I went to the mechanic across the street and could barely get a verbal diagnostic. The second was today when I got my tire patched. Even though it was a small job, they were very nice, positive, timely and helpful. Even though I never gotten any major work done here, I definitely will when it is time. I feel they are trustworthy and honest. Thanks again and much appreciative.

Here was the very first car inspection I've had outside of my car dealership with my car and I couldn't have picked a better place. There was no long wait and the service was fast. Used them for the first time today based on the good reviews. Husband's alternator was going and the dealership we normally go to couldn't fit us in til next Friday. Very impressed, excellent customer service, they fit us in and got everything running again on the same day at a reasonable price. We'll definitely be repeat customers!

I needed my tire removed and a spare tire put on... after calling around, this place had the best price of just $5! Everyone there was very courteous, friendly, and fast! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. They have a nice little waiting area with a tv and a very clean bathroom! I will definitely be back for any future tire needs!

I have been coming to GB Service Center since I had an emergency problem, years ago, and they could have been just like other places that have ripped me off, but they didn t. I will go no where else. After several years of state inspections I recently had a needed repair done, (U-joints). My vehicle was dropped off on a Monday afternoon, diagnosed and fixed by the time I was off of work the next day. The technician who worked on my vehicle called me several times to explain what he found, what needed to be fixed, and informed me of some problems I might have down the road. I felt they were very open, honest, and not looking to rack up as many repairs as possible.I will definitely be returning to the service center for all my repairs in the future.

New to the area and needed a VA state inspection. Tried this shop based on positive comments on NextDoor. They took me in when they said they would, and finished when they said they would. Friendly, honest and professional. Didn't try any upsell nonsense like I, and I'm sure many others, have had with other places. Solidly earned my future business. This is my go to place for all 5 cars in my family. They are busy so you may have to wait a few days to get your car serviced but if you can afford to wait they are worth it. They are about 30 percent less than the dealer and honest. Most importantly they don't try to upsell unneeded services.

Took my 2010 Tacoma in for an inspection, Oil Change and rotate and balance the tires. Ended up with a $300+ dollar bill. Did an unauthorized alignment and charged me over $100 to essentially ready a code for an airbag light. They were already overpriced for oil changes but this was the final straw. No more recommendations or visits from me.

Got a flat and they patched it up better than new. They squeezed me into the schedule at the end of the day so I could make it home. Really helped me out. Customer service was great too, everyone was nice.

I received a call that my car failed inspection primarily because of exhaust leak but my Car was never place on the lift. The manfacturer also recently passed the exhaust during a recent tune up. Also, hood inspection failed because inspector was not able to open the hood. I opened the hood in 1 sec and showed it to front desk staff. Very disappointing to realize that inspector confused my gas tank lever for hood lever. Great staff, highly rated by others but a disappointing visit for me.

Generally good service. Only one dissapointment. Charges for Self Service air $0.75 when only 10 foot from shop air. I would expect this from a convenient store.Revised to 5 stars. Thank you for the clarification on the option. I will touch base with your service attendant the next time I need this service.

3 experiences in last year.One was a flat that needed a plug. They knocked it out in 20 minutes. The following week I noticed the same tire was going flat again. Took tire back to shop and they identified another puncture. The mechanic said since them nor me knew if it was from the same event or not that it was no charge and an easy fix. No problems with my tires.Two noticed engine light on and did a quick diagnosis via auto zone which said too rich. Tried seafoam but nothing. Got an appt. with GBSC and they identified it was a bad power pack on #4. Repair completed in a couple of hours.Three. Dropped car off for loud road noise when driving. GBSC called and told me it was the rear hub bearings. Asked how much and mechanic said that back brakes needed done as well and worth combining the work and cost would be around $600-700. He then asked me who did the front brakes and I told him that I did. He told me that I could do both the hub bearing and brakes on my own if I as so inclined and that it was easy enough for a home for mechanic.Great service no over selling and honest. Cannot be beat.

I have been taking my cars to Chris for almost 15 years now....he hasaid ALWAYS been honest. Never overcharges...has even told me when it was something I could do myself for much cheaper. Trustworthy local business worth supporting.

I love GBSC ! I have been taking every car I have owned for the last 25 years to Chris and the gang and have received the best service, advice and recommendations possible. Chris has never "steered" me wrong! Most recently, I took my new 18 year old Mazda Miata in to have everything done since the car had been in storage for a long time. Chris called me and said the belts only needed adjusting and all fluids were fine, inspection was complete and, since I am a senior, they would come pick me up. The bill was extremely reasonable and I will continue to take my "everyday" Explorer and my new old "toy" car to GBSC because I trust them completely.

Always honest with us, which is a big concern with auto care. My car had an issue that would normally spell death for that model because it's nearly impossible to repair due to Mazda's short sighted design. The owner found a tool from Ford that solves a similar problem in their models and he made it work! That's going the extra mile. Then, rather than upsell us on more repairs I needed, he suggested I drive it around to make sure it's working aka worth putting more investment into so we didn't waste money. Honesty cannot be undervalued.

don't go here. years ago they did a transmission fluid flush and didnt bother putting any fresh fluid back in. turned right back around after transmission went to failsafe mode. when i asked them to open the drain plug to prove it was empty they refused and then pretended you couldnt fill any more from level test plug. hopefully matt lermain doesnt work there anymore.
