Great Bridge Muffler & Brake are my hometown heroes. My car is 15 years old with over 150k and they ve done an outstanding job keep it on the road. Oil change, new tires, transmission work, brake repairs, vehicle inspections you name it. Every service has been top notch and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

These guys are great. I had an exhaust leak and was told by another shop that they didn't make that part any more. Checked with Great Bridge muffler and brake and they said no problem. They made a costume pipe and got me back on the road . I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs service work for their vehicles. Great price and service. Honest and dependable. We had costly work done on our van and then a few days later an engine light popped up- they took the van right in and read the code- fixed it for parts only cost despite the fact that it was unrelated to the original work done. Many thanks!

They got my car"s brakes done quickly and efficiently. I had an appointment and didn't wait that long. I had all 4 brakes done and the price was what he told me it woukd be over the phone.I'm going back today to get the inspection done as I couldn't do it the same day as the brakes due to a cracked windshield.Try this place and it will be your go to garage for all of your repairs.

Great shop. Fair and fastI bring three cars here. My most recent, I had 100k mile service in mind and brought a list. The technician told me one wasn't needed and a second could wait until the summer. $700 became $300. A shop that takes money out of their own hands based on sound car maintenance will have my business FOREVER.

A great family owned business. They did work and inspection on my vehicle. They did a super job in a timely manner and very professional. Very reasonable priced . Chris helped me and kept me informed on when it would be completed. I recommend them highly.

Great Bridge Muffler and Brake really got me out of a tight spot! I drove from Lenoir City TN to Chesapeake last week to visit my mom. A couple days before I was due to return to TN, my mom noticed my car was leaking something, so we called Great Bridge Muffler and Brake as that is who services my mom s car. Chris was so kind and got me in the next day. The fix was quick and it only took about a day and a half to take care of everything. The cost was also very surprising, I definitely expected to pay way more. Thank you so much to Chris and everyone at Great Bridge Muffler and Brake! I was able to safely make it back to TN!

A few weeks ago I stopped by to get my business van diagnosed; the customer service was excellent, price was fair, took it back the next day and the work was done timely! We ve been going to Great bridge muffler & brakes for years and they have always done us right! Prices are fair and below dealerships, quality services, good people! You can buy parts online & have them install, or they give you the option between new/used parts. They treat their customers right and will tell you what you need and what you don t. This is where I bring all of our vehicles, you can trust them. Look no further for you hometown mechanic .

Cannot recommend. Took my car in for a soft brake pedal. Was told the master cylinder needed replaced and was charged $600 for replacement. The brakes were back to normal for 3 months and then same problem returned.

Over the last 20 years, Jimmy and his crew have taken care of all of our family's automotive repair needs. Best prices in town! Called that morning for a quote to install both front CV axle shafts. They priced it two ways, one- if they supply the part or two- if I supply the part. Decided to supply my own part, and purchased through O Reilly Auto Parts next door (thanks Chris and Kalif!). I dropped car and parts off at noon, and they called and was done by 4PM . Chris and his team are fast, friendly, and charge VERY fair prices! Thanks GB Muffler & Brake!!

Chris and entire staff are awesome! We have used Great Bridge Muffler & Brake for years!! The have performed State inspections and repairs on our 2002 Chevy Tahoe and our 2008 Nissan Altima. Always done quickly and professional. Very thorough and fair priced!

The brakes on my Sierra p/u failed the day before I was to return to So Calif with daily reservations all the way home. Speaking with Chris, he said he'd do his very best to diagnose and repair. Absolute best shop experience I've ever experienced. Original time I visited with a muffler issue on my truck that needed work. Second my business box truck needed a catalytic converter, and now basic oil changes, state inspections, and more! Quality customer service! This family owned and operated local small business has my business and personal clientele for sure! Check them out, I don't think you'll regret it!

Honest, reliable and great prices.I went to the Nissan dealership in Chesapeake for a repair, they wanted $4500,Not paying that (LOL). So I took it to Great Bridge and they had my truck up and ready for a fraction of the price in a couple of days.Will definitely go back for future repairs.Thank you Great Bridge

I went here for my inspection and I'm happy with my decision. After calling around I dropped my car off here overnight and it was done by 10am, even earlier than I expected, which was nice, especially since I waited until the last minute to get it done. The place next door had an 11 car line and didn't even know if they'd be able to get to my car at all! I'd definitely recommend this place.
