Reading reviews can be sneaky, but here they are all true! The service was amazing, quick, and detailed. They had my car fixed within a day. Kinda started off as a terrible birthday, but they were the best and turned it around real quick. Thanks for all your help Chris.

I take both of my cars here and have been very happy with the reliable work, kind people, and very fast turnaround on jobs. The mechanics are more than happy to explain what's going on with my vehicles which is also a plus!

Called on Monday and was able to drop my Volkswagen off Wednesday morning. I went in wanting to get my brake pads changed and for them to check out my headlights. They were extremely honest and trustworthy, they even told me my brakes were fine and didn t need to be changed at this time. It really caught me off guard for a shop to do this. It was super refreshing and reassured me of my decision to bring my car here. They also went above and beyond to fix my headlights issue. I almost had to order two new headlights but they were able to fix them without having to do so. Very trustworthy, friendly and fast shop. I believe the work performed was fantastic and if I need work done on either of my vehicles, I will definitely give them a call.Service: Brakes

They are helpful and quick! Got my inspection done painlessly. Be aware there is no wait area, but it s so close to a shopping area and Chilis is right behind this place that time went by quickly.

These guys were so nice and made sure I understood everything was going on! Really the only thing is they didn t give me an estimate on the price, I would ve appreciated it beforehand. Although, the price wasn t even that bad itself. Will be returning. :)

I am extremely disappointed with this business and writing this review with the hopes that others will see it and it will and not have the same scary scenario happen to them. My mother was in a car accident recently and we had her car towed here due to proximity and in effort to save time. She had two flattened tires, body damage, and alignment issues. First when calling, I was told that it might not be possible for them to fix the issues with the car and that they'd let me know. When calling back to check, they said that they could but were apprehensive about it - we moved forward with getting the work done. In calling another time to check in (about one week after it being taken there), an employee said that after he put the two new tires on, "he could drive it around and see if it made any strange noises". On the day it was ready to be picked up, I called and he informed me that the new tires were replaced and the body work had been done but they don't do alignments - why we were not told that ahead of time, I do not know. After picking up the car, it was very noticeable that the alignment was off because the car kept pulling to the left when driving it. The car was taken to a AAA car care center a few days later and my mother was told that the car "was not safe to be on the road". I am highly upset that the communication was lacking about the safety of the car. We would have gladly done whatever was needed to avoid this situation and I am thankful that we had the additional work done elsewhere as to not have her in any further danger while driving. I will also be contacting the owner and/or manager and also the Better Business Bureau.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Would absolutely recommend!!So my car needed to get towed here by AAA because it would not start that s just the simple answer. Mike called on the phone and told me the problem was the timing chain and the shop could not fix it . Also now has to be towed else where. Which now means I have to pay for this next tow because AAA only covers the first one and the timing chain is a lengthy and very expensive repair. This shop normally would charge for the diagnostic fee since they at least figured out what was wrong with it and they gentleman on the phone said since they knew how expensive the repair was that in his heart he couldn t charge us for this. NO ONE DOES THAT SORT OF THING ANYMORE. Most shops nickel and dime and scam . I CANNOT THANK MIKE ENOUGH FOR THIS KIND GESTURE! So yes, I would recommend them. I was already told this was a great place to come prior. I am so grateful to you.

We called around 9am on our drive down to OBX. Right front tire was slowly losing air. Mike answered the phone and asked us how far out we were. Made accommodations to get one of the guys to look at it quickly. Wound up being a nail in the in the side wall. They gave us the option to plug it or go to the tire shop down the road for a possible replacement. We plugged it and they sent us on our way in under 20 minutes for a really affordable price. The bathroom was also the cleanest mechanic bathroom I think I ve ever been in. Would highly recommend and will be saving their info for future trips!!Service: Tires

Great location for a state inspection. Appointments are not available (anywhere) for just inspections. Just drop it off and they usually get it done within a day. Nice staff.

Friendly, hardworking staff! Came in on a Sunday needing air in a tire & asked if they could plug it. They advised me to come back Monday - even though they were busy (8am Monday morning) they got me in and out FAST!!! Thank you all for the effort and I ll certainly be back!

Went in to get my car inspected and failed for valid reasons, the problem is they told me it was going to be over $300 to fix my issues and take the next day. I went the the shop across the street and they fixed the problem within hours and I was shocked to find they only charged me $60. It's just grimy to try to take advantage of the fact I knew nothing about cars. Absolutely disgusted.

Thank you for saving this lady with a leaky tire on such short notice, so reasonably priced, & with good old-fashion courtesy. You came highly recommended and are close to my new job so we ll be seeing each other again!

I have used this place since 2002 for many of my vehicle maintenance and repair needs. Chris the owner and his team are very knowledgeable and trustworthy when it comes to work and prices. I recommend this business to everyone I know.

Brought my Jeep in for a State Inspection after being to the area. Only after removing the Sticker did they then declare the wipers (of course) and that the brake light covers were illegal. Although, I've owned the vehicle for 10 years and not once were the brake light attachments EVER questioned at multiple State Inspection garages. They then charged almost $50 to remove a cover on the brake lights. FIFTY dollars!! Are you saying it takes more manpower and time to remove a brake light cover than it does to perform an oil change/tire rotation?? This place a scam. Do yourself a favor and simply go across the street to an honest and highly respectable garage.UPDATE:Your rebuttal is again deceitful. Unfortunately I can't post the picture of the invoice on this medium. Look it up. Invoice #49844 on 9/14/16. $36 to remove brush guards that have never been an issue in 8 years of ownership and multiple Inspection garages. I even spoke with an employee, asking how much was charged for an oil change, a more labor intensive process, and it was cheaper than removing 4 screws on taillights??? That's called nickel and diming and a frivolous upcharge.

The guy in the office was friendly enough, I came in to get an inspection and quickly realized why there was practically no wait for a state inspection, and everyone else adjacent was booked the next week. I'm not going to waste my time criticizing the service I received, just going to make a report with the VA State Trooper in charge of inspections for this area

I love this gas/service station! This is the only gas station that someone would actually offer to pump the gas for you. I don't know why all the gas stations got rid of the full service but I surely miss it! Great folks work here, 5 stars on their shop service too!

Been going here for nearly 15 years and have never had any issues with their service. The other two reviewers must have simply been exceptionally unfortunate or, more than likely, have no idea what they're talking about considering one of them clearly has a difficult time grasping the English language, while the other reviewer probably doesn't know how inspections work. Just saying...

Dropped car off in the morning for an inspection of a used car and also a high speed brake shimmy. Needed new rotors. Informed me of needed maintenance. Wouldn t hesitate to have work done at GBAS.

Started off nice but now my tags have ran out sooo ....now I'm getting the run around about my while my truck stays parked in the garage sad huh..haven't heard the best part my husband and myself keep calling only to get the tags haven't came in yet so when we decided to let them kno we were coming all of a,sudden the Very Rude receptionist claims they mailed them ...I'm in Franklin va not Australia where the heck are my plates ...only instructions they can give is go to dmv so guess well clean their mess up....be aware never do your review in store wait a day or two or 30 maybe before praising them..note the quote Wolf in Sheeps clothing. ..stick to ya big dealerships they won't steer u wrong ..that's how their reviews are great they practically force you to write a review before u even finished the deal lol lol .....don't be fooled by these guys ohhh and I need a oil change 2weeks after leaving the lot...smh Great bridge !!!!
