These three men were absolutely incredible. The three I m referring to is Carlos, Sean, and carter.Carlos had the patience to deal with me trying to figure out the proper tires for my husband corvette for the winter race circuit. We went back and fourth for about a week but ultimately decided on a tire. He originally gave us about a 7-10 day ship time, but called us day 2 of waiting and said they arrived. We scheduled an appointment for the next day to get them mounted.When it came to actually getting there, I raised concerns about our rims and we got the two best guys in the shop in my honest opinion. Sean and carter went above and beyond to take extra care of our rims. They mounted the first set pretty quickly and painlessly- probably around 1.5 hours. The stock rims took a little longer (3.5 hours roughly) but that was due to the tires. It was not their fault it took so long; These rims are know for being a royal pain in the butt. We could see they were getting frustrated, however they kept a good attitude about the whole thing and the amount of time it took to get the corvette out of the bay. I much rather have them take their time to get it right vs have them rush! We are not the normal person for buying tires, as we buy 8-12 race tires at a time for the car and then have them mounted all the same day on different rims., so it does take a little longer then what most people would consider appropriate wait time, but they were very very fast given the sheer amount of tires & mounting all of them &removing all the old tires as well. I can t talk anymore highly of the level of care Sean & carter took for protecting our rims and making sure they told us every little detail about the tires & balance due to what level of racing the car does. 10/10 recommendation for these three & definitely worth the wait!

Discount Tire is my go to when in need of anything tire related. Fair prices and outstanding people. I have purchased 2 sets of tires from them with no regrets. Little known fact, If you have expensive tires and you want road hazard warranty, get it through them even if you did not buy them from Discount Tire. I put it on my Michelin PS4s even though they came new on the car. Full replacement if they cannot repair the tire, as long as tread is good. A pretty good peace of mind depending on the cost of tires.Update: 30 Dec 21. They did it again, best place ever to go. Customer satisfactions is their goal and they hit it every time.I previously purchased a new set of Continentals from them about 4 months ago. My first time moving away from Michelins. I was very dissatisfied with the quality and performance. In order to ensure I was a satisfied customer,, they redirected the funds I paid for Continentals to a new set of Michelin Pilot All Season 4s, I paid the difference in cost. Their team members were professional as always and do excellent work. I never go to any other store. Thank you DTJan 24Purchased 4 continental DWS675s for my Supra. Great service, great price!1 Apr 24Bought some Rays CR57 wheels for my Supra. DT installed them professionally without any damage. You know how important that is! Still my only place to go.Thanks

This shop is the best tire shop in Hampton Roads. The employees are always very efficient, friendly and professional. Each visit resulted in a quick turnaround and nothing but positive feedback from me. Keep up the great work.

Always a great place to get tires! In fact it s the only place I go for tires. The prices are very reasonable, they have an excellent warranty on their tires, the store associates are very friendly and knowledgeable! You can t go wrong with discount tire!

i have gone to discount tire two times and the first time i went in with my $2000 aftermarket white wheels and they messed them up very badly, it looked like someone had dropped, dragged, pried on them, they filed a claim and the claim department sucked and said that if i didn t have video proof of them damaging my wheels then they couldn t do anything for me . I went back today to give them a second chance on my other vehicle and they told me that my vehicle would be done in an hour and a half to change two tires on my truck. I called them back 2 hours later and they said it would be another 45 minutes. I showed up 45 minutes later and they still hadn t started on it. Also both times i went they took my shiny metal valve caps and replaced them with black plastic ones.

To All the Men Shop and Up Front, and the person who took care of me early (Carlos) you guys do an outstanding job each day making sure to be professional and respectful to all of your customers!This place has always had my support since the first day I went in to replace my truck tires and even after today replacing my SUV tires. They were very knowledgeable, quick, and even took their personal time to take care of my situation an hour before the appointment.THANKS AGAIN GENTLEMEN!

My first time at discount tire did not disappoint . As expected the place was jammed packed. I did have an appointment but was way early. I asked if it was a problem or if it be more sufficient to run my errands first. I love honesty and was told that it would be better to come back closer to my appointment . No problem at all . I got back and of course they are still very busy but at no giving time was an employee rude and very attentive to everyone. At this time I am thinking ok well even with appointment I will sit here forever . But no they have a very good system that allows you to keep track of the status of your car. My car got pulled in shortly after I checked in and I was in and out in less than one hr. Great friendly fast service . I will deff be back once I have to. This is one of the professions that is underestimated when it comes to costumer service and we need more people to recognize that . Great service from everyone I dealt with . 5 stars for sure

No point in scheduling an appointment with them. I got there about a hour before my appointment and my car didn't get touched until an hour after the appointment. They left glue all over the wheels and tires allowing it to sling onto the paint.

I love these guys! For some reason my tires always pick up nails on the road and they always are sure to help me out! Everyone provides outstanding customer service. I have always been treated with kindness and never had an issue here. They also explain everything to me throughly. I appreciate that.

I bought 4 new tires from Discount Tire on Battlefield Blvd. I had a 10 am appointment to put the new tires on my SUV. I arrived early at 8:30 am and the job was complete by 9 am. Fast friendly professional service. Jason was the salesman and he was very professional, answered all my questions. He did my Military Discount while I was there and I didn't have to do it online. I am very satisfied with the service.

I had the worst experience. I had a 9:45am appointment, and waited hours and my vehicle still hadn t been seen yet, I was told by Carlos that my vehicle was getting ready to be seen and a hour and some change went past and my car still was not in the bay. I checked in when I got there and still had to wait 45 mins for an employee to even recognize me walking into the building. The quality of customer service I received today was horrible. People who came in after me with later appointments were taken care of and serviced while I was looked over. I tether take my vehicle somewhere else now even if I have to pay. It was the worst s

I had an appointment for tire rotation and balance. They also fixed, no charge, a tire that was losing air. The only thing I noticed after I left was a valve stem cap was not replaced.Overall, I'm pleased with the service.

In February I had to get all 4 tires replaced. I didnt know it till I got there, but I needed them none the less. I went back today because I had a slow leak in one. They got me in quickly, checked the tire and replaced the valve stem. As of now, all good.

I usually ask my husband to do anything related to my car since I hate dealing with it but I took it myself and was treated so well by the staff. Super respectful and knowledgeable. Was in and out and got exactly what I needed. Really great service.

I will NEVER go to Discount Tires on Battlefield. Robert tells me it's free of charge to patch a hole in my rear tire. However, they want to sell me 2 front tires. I don't want them. And because I don't want to get 2 front tires, Carlos tells me it's a problem, so they can't check me in. Unbelievable. I just need a tire fixed!!

It is first review before the service done. I can watch their service from big window at lobby. Their fast responses and professionalism are impressive. Both the store manager and workers are friendly even flat service is unprofitable and provided as a courtesy before you decide to replace old tires or broken tires. Very satisfied with my visit and I should have visited at first. Happy Independence Day to you all!

I can t recommend Discount Tire enough! Austin was so friendly and helpful! Regrettably, we had had a flat tire and had gone to a local competitor the day before. We will be going here from now on! We need new tires for another one of our cars soon and we will definitely be returning! Thank you for the excellent customer service and the fast turn around time!

0.5/5. Nothing personal against any individuals at this location, everyone makes mistakes, but the service was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND PUT MY SAFETY AT RISK. I spent a good amount of money on four brand new Goodyear Assurance Tires on Saturday, September 24th. I had my spare on the rear right so they gave me a loaner tire to hold me over. With Discount Tire being closed on Sundays, the Goodyear Assurance tires had to be ordered in on Saturday so I dropped my car off Sunday night for next day service.I called and spoke with two employees at this location on Monday, September 26th, two separate times a few hours apart, both whom confirmed that my car was ready for pickup. The LAST thing I was expecting was to not have ANY of the tires I ordered put on my car. Instead, Discount Tire gave me 3 Sentury tires. 2 used, 1 new and they kept the loaner tire on as well (If you know tires, you would know that Sentury tires cost WAY less than Goodyear tires). One of those used tires posed a major threat not only to my personal safety, but others around me on the road as the metal had been showing since I picked my car up on that Monday. (Pictured Below).I work in law enforcement/public safety 20 miles away from Chesapeake so I m constantly commuting on the highway/bridge to and from work. Extended work hours and driving definitely has its wear and tear on me so I didn t even think to actually check the tires upon pickup, especially with how much I spent. What made this experience much worse is that a front desk receptionist tried to say that I picked up the car when it wasn t ready. If the car wasn t ready then why did two different employees state that it was? Why was my car moved from where I originally parked it? Why had ANY of my original tires been touched to begin with? He stated that someone was supposed to give me a call letting me know they didn t put the correct tires on but 7 BUSINESS DAYS passed and I received not one phone call. They were going to keep my money and move on. Plain and simple.I do credit this location for staying after hours yesterday to complete the service and offering tire coverage on my Goodyear Tires, but this experience was overwhelming. My personal opinion: PLEASE hire a true front desk receptionist!!! You constantly have employees running back and forth from the service area to the front desk. That can be taxing during long work days and have an employee forgetting simple stuff. Not only for my safety, but community safety please don t allow this uncomfortable experience happen for any other customer. Thank you.

Excellent customer service. I had 4 new tires put on in about 30 minutes. Everyone there was nice and let you know the status of your vehicle throughout the installation.

I had a flat tire on my 2008 GMC 2500. I arrived and they got me in quicker than any shop I ve ever been to fix my tire and got me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. And they didn t even bother to charge me on the tire repair. Like how.... needless to say. I ll definitely be buy my next set of tires here!

I had a great customer experience with Mr. Mike Taylor at this discount tire location. He was able to find me one tire that I needed after an unexpected blowout I had. He was very personable and attentive to my needs as a customer. Once I got to the location I hadanother amazing interaction with a tire installer. His name was Jayce, He was great to deal with and took extra good care of my truck which I really appreciated seeing as I just had it painted.Thanks everyone at this discount tire! Great job guys!

I was a little skeptical at first, but man, these guys were amazing! Joe got us checked in and taken care of super quick! They got us a new wheel and four new tires all put on in less than an hour. The waiting room even had outlets for us to charge our phones and free bottled water! I will be recommending these guys and singing their praises! Definitely coming back for all our future tire needs!

The service and staff were great! I called before arriving because I was hauling a 32ft travel trailer. They quickly met me outside and directed me where to go and even spotted me as I was backing up. I was there for maybe a little over an hour to replace two tires. I definitely recommend this shop and will be returning.
