Had to go out of town for a family emergency earlier this week 11/6. I knew that I needed new tires and and oil change. Under the circumstances and due to it being last minute, I was expecting to have to pay a lot for these services. Now, I've been coming to this shop for over 15 years. The service have always been great. This time the service was exceptional!!! I was helped by Travis. I briefly explained my situation and he did his magic!!!! He did everything possible to make sure that while on my travels, it would be as safe as reasonably possible. I got the best rated tires in the shop, an oil change, all fluids topped and some other services for the greatest price anyone could ever imagine. All these services were provided and my vehicle was in and out the door in about an hour. I have never felt safer on the road, especially traveling with my adult daughter and three grandkids. Phenomenal customer service skills Travis! Thank you and the rest of the team for making this happen!!!

Update: Now my car is leaking oil! I stepped out for dinner and when I returned home to my parking spot I these 2 big oil stain puddles. I look under the car and I see fresh oil on the under carriage, bolts, and splash guard. Totally unacceptable. My car has never leaked oil.I won't be back. Whomever it was at the front desk today (Sat 9/16 @ 1pm) was very condescending! I dropped my car off for an oil change, tire rotation, tire pressure check and brake fluid. When I go to pick up the car I find that the driver side floor mat has grease/oil/dirt stains from the garage. I guess they don't cover the floor mats with the disposable paper or plastic covers. I then have to ask about the the service done to the car. They don't mention that I have a broken tire pressure sensor. What type of repair shop is this? The guy at the front says that I am supposed to ask about that. In the end, they just wanted me to pay and go. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional.

I was called yesterday and informed my vehicle was ready but I was unable to get it until this morning. After wandering around the parking lot I found it and it's unlocked! This is not the first time either. The time before last my windows were down. My vehicle was sitting at least 24 hours unlocked this time. I called the front desk and told them it was unlocked and the guy didn't act like it mattered but did say they aren't supposed to do that. No kidding. I bought tires last year so I'm supposed to have a warranty but I do not want to worry about it being stolen or rifled through when in Dellinger's possession. I don't keep anything important inside except my EZ Pass and registration WHICH HAS MY ADDRESS ON IT.

I was amazed at the customer service and how nice the people at the front desk were. The techs were slammed but had my tire patched in an hours time. Great people and plan to take my vehicle there for services I can t do myself!

Great folks to work with. Always treat me like family. Had an oil leak issue after they did an oil change and they were quick to address the situation. Turns out it was the filter (which is/was totally out of their control as they didn t manufacture the filter) and they handled it for me rather quickly. Thanks guys and gal for looking out for me.

My son and I dropped his truck off early Thursday morning for a diagnostic check, because he had no heat coming through the vents. I was told this would allow time for them to perform a complete check and if major repairs were needed it would ensure they would be completed by the weekend so he would have it Monday for work.I hadn't heard anything by 2;00 pm so I called numerous times to check the status. I continued to be placed on hold and at one point got tired of waiting and had to hang up. I called back and requested to speak with Scott the manager and again placed on hold. I left several messages, but no response. I called again at 5:00 pm and finally spoke with Scott. He said that he had two mechanics to check out the truck and both agreed that the truck needed a water pump. However, they did not have the tool or mechanic to do the work because it required removing the timing chain cover. They kept the truck all day just to do a diagnostic check only to tell me they couldn't do the work. The truck temperature gauge was normal, no water leaking from the pump or sounds whatsoever indicating a bad water pump.I decided I would pick-up the truck and get a second opinion, but was told they close at 6:00 pm, it was now 5:55 pm. I took the spare key and went and picked up the truck and left a message to Scott that I had taking the truck. While driving home the heat started coming through the vent.I went to another garage Friday morning and less than an hour they had diagnosed the truck and determined there was nothing wrong with the water pump, thermostat or cooling system. It was the actuator that controls the doors opening and closing of the vent doors that allow the air to circulate from heat, defrost etc. After hearing of our bad experience the shop owner waivered the diagnostic fee.My son still has heat and the truck is running good. However, whenever it gets to the point where the heat completely goes out permanently I will take it back to this garage that has the mechanics, tools and experience to do the work.I have been a long time customer of Dellingers when it used to be Blanchards. But it seems to me since George sold the business the workmanship, customer service and reputation of Dellingers continues to decline. It definitely is not the same as when George Dellinger owned it. It has become to me just another Tire Store.

After a bad experience, I left the dealership and went across the street to Dellinger s and I ve never looked back. There s a lot to be said about the family/community vibe that Dellinger s has. They fixed what the dealership said couldn t be repaired and have always looked out for our family. Their pricing is impossible to beat and their service is fantastic. Highly recommend!

I am leaving a one star review due to the mechanic negligence of not properly parking my vehicle to prevent it from moving. The mechanic did not engage the parking brake nor put the transmission in 1st gear to prevent my vehicle from moving after he parked it near the entrance door of the building. Luckily I saw my vehicle starting to move as I approached the service counter and another customer jumped in my vehicle and I helped her stop my vehicle from hitting another vehicle. That scenario should never happen at an auto repair establishment. To me preventing a vehicle from moving on it's own is quite simple, transmission in gear then parking brake engaged before exiting the vehicle after it's parked. I never had an issue with vehicles moving while parked in my 27 years of parking vehicles following that method or procedure. Any auto mechanic that cannot properly park a customer's vehicle to prevent it from moving and causing damage should find another occupation.

This place was amazing. Jim really knows his stuff most of the time you always feel like a shop just tells you stuff for you to buy that s unnecessary. He s amazing and Bruce is also very good as well. Make sure you visit them and ask for Bruce or jim

I don t do this often but I felt the need to reward the folks at Dellingers and let them know how pleased I was with their service my last visit. They have always been friendly but this time something was different. EVERYONE from the front counter to the back counter had a smile on their face. It really made me happy to see that and to feel welcomed by their smiling faces. Then the service time wait wasn t the usual 1-2 days either. The guys in service were able to get me right in. Both of them (Jim and Don) were friendly and made my day as well. Looks like good things are happening for them and I m happy to see that! Keep up the great work!!

Great service! Was able to get in me for a tire change last minute and waited maybe 20 minutes when everywhere else was either too busy or just turned me away. And they had much better prices and even told me of another possible issue with my car without pressuring me or trying to up-sell me. I will easily come back here for whatever I need as long as I m living in Virginia.

They are always friendly. My dad recommended that I get my car inspected at this business for my first inspection. I am trusting them with my car again. They are great for when you need an immediate inspection. Just leave your car in the evening and they will put your car in line to get taken care of.

Went in for a transmission fix. Waited a week, the clutch was too tight and popped, had to take it back, they replaced it next day, but now I'm noticing low oil problems, looked under and found the 3 vertical bolts to the structural dust cover on the transmission are missing. Wonder what else is messed up.

I've been taking my car to Dellinger's Auto for state inspection for years, and I've always been happy with the service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they always explain the inspection process in detail. I've never had any problems with my car passing inspection, and I always feel confident that I'm getting a fair price.Recently, I took my car in for an inspection and was told that I needed new brakes. I was a little hesitant to spend the money, but the mechanic explained that it was important to get them replaced as soon as possible. He also offered me a free loaner car while my car was being worked on.I'm so glad that I decided to get the brakes replaced. My car drives so much better now, and I feel much safer on the road. I would definitely recommend Dellinger's Auto to anyone who needs a state inspection or any other car repair work. Here are some of the things that customers like about Dellinger's Auto for VA state inspection:Friendly and knowledgeable staffThorough inspection processFair pricesFree loaner carsIf you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to get your car inspected, Dellinger's Auto is a great option.

Used to be great but the service and responsiveness is no longer what it used to be. I ve had a vehicle up there for 24 hours with no update, I ve called twice for an update and the folks answering the phones don t seem to know what s going on. I ll probably have to look around to see if there is a better shop, that is retaining its employees. You guys used to be 5 stars for decades! What a shame.

Not great and not the worst. Don t expect them to to call you when your car is ready. We were told the car was ready twice when we called for an update and they said yes. So I wasted the time and gas to drive out to get the car just to find out it in fact was not done. This happened twice and gas is not cheap! The technician did a great job though.Update: Regional manager reached out to apologize and correct the miscommunication. I am 100% satisfied with his resolution approach and appreciate the fact that he took the time to listen to what I had to say.

Went in last minute for an inspection and was hoping to have found a new service option close to home, but after my experience it won't be them. When I first walked in 2 employees were chatting about store drama and ignored me until they were quite finished. The tech who did my inspection was rude and failed my car for issues that weren't even on the list. He had to write them in. . I came back the next day after making the changes he demanded and again had to wait for employees to finish discussing their schedules for 5 min before they even acknowledged me. I was standing 3 feet away and they treated me as if I was invisible. I got the reinspection done and passed but when I left I found a new crack in my windshield that hadn't been there before and obviously was something they did since that didn't make it onto the inspection sheet when so many minor things did.all in all I was mostly disappointed that my hopes for a decent local place were dashed. It's hard to find passable customer service and honest mechanics

I ve been to Dellinger s Tire on several occasions to have maintenance and repairs done on my vehicles! Each time, I ve been extremely pleased with the level of service and help from the team! The manager, Scot, was especially helpful in explaining the work that needed to be done.

Had to get the car inspected and waited until the last minute. This seemed like the ONLY place that could get me in. I was AMAZED at the customer service! The girl at the front, Crystal, was so friendly. And she actually knew what she was talking about. Wasn t just trying to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn t need, like a thousand other places. It didn t take forever to get my inspection and the waiting area is super cozy. Would definitely recommend.
