Had front end work done on husbands truck it took longer then expected but they found all the parts needed and did good work. The reason for 3 stars is the phone doesn t always get answered and they did not tighten the crossmember completely.Service: Steering & suspension repairService: Steering & suspension repair

They fixed my father in laws the fan resister! And he is in love with it! He says it blows out hot air and the AC works so much better! They were very fair with their prices and very professional!!! Amazing job!!!! 10/10

I just moved to the area and had to get my car inspected. My friend referred me to Bells Mill Auto Care. They were so nice to deal with and so efficient. Not only that, my car was loaded with moving items and they patiently worked with my situation to ensure my car met all the requirements for inspection. I really appreciated their kind service. What a great neighborhood place to take your care. I'll definitely go back there and you should too.

I had a failed state inpection from a another crooked shop, took my car into Bells mill Auto care for a second inspection. my car pass inspection in flying colors with no questions ask. much thank to the staff and technicians you will be my new mechanic going farward.

Always use them for my state inspection and they do a great job in a timely manner; however, their technician left a note in my cup holder stating that owner should get eyes checked due to all the lights. Gentlemen probably thought it was a funny joke and I d appreciate it but it was fairly insulting.

I've used this shop for years for my inspections. I drove all the way from north carolina for a virginia inspection because the owner/manager told me he had a spot for me and to come up. I got to the shop and he told me he couldn't do it and that " I should have gotten there earlier ". This is after I told him that he told me to come. Complete waste of a 3 1/2 hour drive.

I had my car inspected here with very short notice and they finished inspecting my car within a few hours after dropping it off. My car failed inspection, but for good reason because my brakes needed replaced. It was the end of the business day, so they offered to replace them the next day, but my husband was able to replace them for me instead. I came in a week later to get my car reinspected and they had it done within about ten to fifteen minutes and I hadn't even called to let them know I was coming. They are super efficient and I plan to take my car here whenever I need work done!Service: Vehicle safety inspection

They've been taking care of my vehicles for 20+ years. After 60 years in the area I couldn't take it anymore so I relocated to the mountains. Last week the alternator went out. I called Bells Mill because they had replaced it last year. Ken, who took over for Russ who had passed away very suddenly a few years ago, told me the part should be in warranty and he would be happy to refund me price of the part. Why would he bother to do that? I don't live in the area anymore, he's not going to get any business from me. He's a stand up guy who does the right thing. Not many like him left in this world anymore. Thanks Ken, you are to be respected.

I've taken my daughters car here two times for two different issues and won't take it anywhere else. Both times they got my kiddo back on the road in a safe and timely manner. The staff here goes out if their way to be helpful and doesn't charge for unnecessary repair. They actually care about and stand by their work and reputation. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed!!

I recently brought my 2003 Expedition there after taking it to another shop. The vehicle wasn't running right and I was told that I could bring it in that morning. They diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem that afternoon, with what I thought was a more fair price.I was thinking it was the fuel pump, which was much more than the coil pack and spark plug replacement that they found to be the trouble. The entire bill was itemized and the charges for both parts and labor were excellent. I wish I started with this shop to begin with, but they will have my business from now on. Good job!

I have never had a problem here at Bells Mill Auto Care. They service my 02 Mustang all the time. New Hoses / Brakes / Fuel Pump / Oil Changes / Inspections and a lot more have been serviced here without complaint. Professional, Affordable, Honest and I highly recommend their service.Edit: Sorry to hear that Russ Gibson, Owner and Founder of Bells Mill Auto Care passed away June 24, 2019. Condolences to his family. RIP Russ, you will be missed.

The Owner, and his mechanics are great people. Several of my friends and I have been using these guys for years. I have 6 vehicles and this business has done allot of work for me. Over the years I only had one small issue that was immediately corrected by them. I would highly recommend them and I do to my family and friends.

I've been taking cars (domestic & imports) to Bell's Mill Auto since 2003. They've been great to me and I trust them and rely on them. They even rebuilt a USMC humvee rescued out of DRMO for a friend of mine. They are especially good with used-car inspections. You'll get the real condition before you buy. Better peace of mind than a used car warranty!

Have taken several cars to Bells Mill always been satisfied with their service even though we've moved 20 miles away I'll continue using them when you find a great spot you just gotta do whatcha gotta do........ My review of Bells has Changed, over the past 3 years since the owner passed away who ever took over is not running the business the same, Call for a oil and fuel filter change was kinda laughed at said they would have to call me with a price never got that call in my world a dollar is a dollar and they don't Deserve my Business or my Money... Welcome to another slack pandemic Built Business all about Them Screw the Customer

Amazing! So glad I have a honest mechanic shop. We drive all the way from Hampton. Im able to send my daughter in with her VW and have no worries about being ripped off. ( If you own a foreign car you know the struggle)

I went in for an oil change and also asked to have a noise near my belt checked out. I was told it was the pulley tensioner and that the compressor was overworking it. He said my car was in excellent physical condition, not one thing wrong, and that they got rid of the noise. I noticed the next day when it got hot that my blower was not working close to what it had been doing in these temperatures and that my Freon was not coming out as cold. I figured they let Freon out or did something to the compressor to get rid of the noise. I went back today to ask what they had done because my ac was significantly worse after they looked at the noise. At first the service manager said they only did an oil change, then admitted they did look at my compressor and tensioner. He said they didn t do anything for the noise, which I know isn t true because it did go away and had been ongoing for awhile. He said that once you leave you can t prove how something was working and it can change suddenly. It sounded fishy to me since my dad owns a shop back in Ohio and I can tell when someone s lying. He said they would look at my ac for a $105 diagnostic fee. So they told me nothing was wrong with my car and now under questionable circumstances, they won t even look at it for free as a courtesy. They want to profit more off me because I guess an oil change wasn t enough.I came here because of the high reviews but these guys are worse than Merchant tire by a long shot! Now I have to diagnose what s wrong, get someone else to fix whatever they did and take them to small claims court for the bill, contact the BBB, state attorney generals office and consumer protection agency. Horrible customer service. Avoid!!!

Was able to get in for a state inspection quickly as I was lucky enough that the gentleman was not busy at that time. Make sure you have cash to pay for the inspection as check or credit card will not be accepted. Happy with the service I received.

We use this auto repair shop for our repairs and state inspections. They are reasonably price, repairs our vehicles as needed and work is completed as promised. They are great to do business with and considerate of their customers needs.

As a woman, it is nice to have a place to take my vehicle where I feel welcomed and safe knowing that they won't try to take advantage of me or anyone else with minimal vehicular knowledge. Great customer service and family run.

My local repair shop. Literally right around the corner from me. They know me and my vehicles. That stand by their work. I've had some repairs that I probably could have performed, but had the techs here do it instead. I've been a customer here pretty much since they've opened.

I drive 30 miles to go to this shop. Ken who runs the front is always helpful! I'm glad I have a honest shop to go to. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know..
