For the time that y'all kept the vehicle considering the job that complete the job. I'm not very satisfied with your work The water pump was the issue to create the problem. Not the driver who? We call on water pumps. Y'all should have found it out at first, and went from there. The water pump cost the overheating of the engine and the. And then that cooler down in time. Which. And all blue engine, and I. And I can't understand why y'all didn't find it to be the problem. Thank you.Service: Auto A/C replacement

I tried to kill my truck (F450) by putting 15 gals. of gas in the tank which uses diesel. Well after four strokes and two heart attacks I got up with Steve at AA immediately he calmed me down. Well, to make a long and I do mean long story short he did his magic fixed my blunder and my truck runs as good as new.

Thank you Steve you did an amazing job on my 2018 Hyundai Sonata. The dealer told me I need to go to a body shop to to repair my trunk springs. The telephone operator was very professional, polite and helpful. The service was speedy and swift. I was expecting repairs to be a week or so considering they had to order my fuel pump. But my truck was ready in just a few days. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

AA has inspected and serviced my cars for over ten years. They have been courteous and performed good work, therefore I have recommended them to several people.This past encounter was nice however the cost of the brake replacement was astronomical, nearly $950, on a 2014 MDX (inflation strikes again).There was a nail in one tire which they plugged that at no additional cost. So overall it was a good experience.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto brake replacement

Went to the one in downtown Suffolk, off Main Street I just needed to purchase new brake pads but the staff was very personable. Made the transaction smooth and enjoyable.

Excellent service. Was done on time. They made a couple suggestions for future service needs but applied zero pressure to get done at that time. It's hard find an honest automotive service, but this seems to definitely be one. It is 35 min from where I live but was referred by a friend and now I'm happy to make the drive in the future!

I am about to use car authority. I was an ASE Master Tech for 35 years until I got a severe infection 2 years ago which left me unable to walk or use my left arm so i am unable to do carrepairs now and looking for a good shop, so I look at reviews. First, with AA,I am immediately impressed with their positive response to every review, good or bad and especially apologetic and willing to resolve the bad reviews. That is just good business! You cant please everyone because some people just wont listen to reasoning or, for lack of a better fraise, too ignorant to understand. Mechanics have to know a wealth of information these days and more and more as time goes on and need to be paid for there knowledge and time. For example, the customers car that was rejected by AA but was passed by another shop. The customer assumed AA was wrong and the other shop was right in my opinion only because they passed it. I believe from the information I read that the customer had a bad ball joint, if the vehicle is not jacked properly a ball joint or control arm will check good when really it could be dangerously loose. People get offended when there rejected because they think they are being ripped off, I mean why did they go somewhere else to have it reinspected in the first place. Give the shop a chance to prove they were being honest and concerned for your safety. State inspectors are usually not seasoned auto techs if thats all they do, use a shop with a tech that inspects and makes repairs, Anyway, Im going to use Automotive Authority, any shop that can keep a 4 1/2-star rating these days is definitely doing something right!

I had my car towed to the establishment to run a diagnostic on what is wrong with it. They called my wife back, not me- knowing full and well which number was mine because they confirmed over the phone the first time. They told her the engine needs to be replaced and it was going to be expensive (they gave the price range). When my wife said we couldn t afford that, she was presented with two options: 1)take $200 in hand for the purchase of my vehicle OR 2) pay $100 to take my car home.I called them to challenge and ask for a better deal- I mean we ve only been going to them for years now. I got stiff armed, of course. So now I m headed up there to pay the ransom on my property so I can have it back.Don t take your vehicle here. The business is crooked. It s not even accredited by the Better Business Bureau, come to find out. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headaches from this place.

I've been using them for a couple years now for my inspections, oil changes and repairs. They are always fast, courteous and reasonably priced. I recommend them all the time.I get the added bonus of working within walking distance of their location, which is great! I drop my car and walk to work and they call me when it is ready.

Have used Automotive Authority for all 6 of my vehicles for the last 3-4 years.Recently- quality of service is diminished greatly.The last job I had them do, I had to take it back because it was not done correctly/failed again.Instead of fixing their mistake- they tried to call out the next higher subassembly- in this case a failing clutch. Quoted me $2600 to fix it.Every other mechanic I ve talked to has disagreed with their diagnosis.Automotive Authority used to be a go to place for me who I trusted and recommended to others. I needed a few services, including alignment, oil change, and diagnostics on why my Nissan intermittently wouldn t start. They allowed me to drop off the car in the evening and looked at it the next morning. Ultimately needed a new starter which was around $400. The team at automotive authority used one of their coupons to get $200 off the part. I was very pleasantly surprised to learn this when I picked up the vehicle and was charged $200 less than I expected. Outstanding service, friendly, and went out of their way to help me. Definitely will go back.

If I could give negative stars I would. I took my vehicle here for a state inspection and it was rejected. I took it to another shop and they informed me there was nothing wrong and it should have passed. I called Automotive Authority to inform them and the owner's response (Steve) was, "well the mechanic must not know how to jack up a truck" and he was aggressive with his tone. I then proceeded to take it to another inspection station and it passed inspection. They informed me that my truck was very safe and should've never been rejected. I feel as if Automotive Authority is willing to lie to customers to make an extra buck. Please do not take your vehicle here. I wouldn't want you to have the same experience I did.

I can t say enough good things about this garage. From the moment i called them I was treated like a lifelong family friend. Advice, repairs, and options are offered to you in a manner that assures you that your best interests are the priority, and not their bottom line. Fair prices, excellent work, and outstanding customer service from start to finish.

Steve and his crew have done good by me. They fix my problems and always keep me informed and up to date about on going repairs. After an accident I needed a new rear end and alignment. Was recommended this shop to get the job done right. New rear end was put in but the track bar bolt was not tight so it fell out, threw the alignment that was done off, and the rear end that was put in was making grinding and whining in the dif and wheels. Took it back, because it was found that rear end was faulty, so a different one was put in. The next day, the rear driver wheel was making a grinding noise while driving that continued to get worse. Come to find out one of the bolts that hold the caliper bracket was completely missing and the other one was loose enough that I only had to turn it 2 times with my hand to remove it. Not to mention the lugs not being near tight enough on the wheel. Almost no effort was needed to loosen the weel. Suspension and handling have not been tight like it used to be before the initial drop off. Dangerous simple mistakes could have caused serious injury.Check all your bolts after if you take your vehicle here.Service: Steering & suspension repair

In my search for a car repair facility, I found Automotive Authority. While we ended up not needing the service anymore, I must still share my experience. I talked to Steve. He was professional, prompt, knowledgeable and friendly! Totally put me at ease. I really appreciated the customer service. In the future, I will not be shopping around. I going straight to this shop.

Had problems with coil, replaced it but p0304 came back, and owner replaced all 4 coils. Had problem again and called and they had me in the next day and fixed problem with no charge. I always receive outstanding service at Automotive Authority. I recently went in for an oil change to which I initially called, and was informed that they would be able to get me in and out expeditiously. As always true to their word, I was in and out, and able to complete the rest of my chores for the day. Been with Automotive Authority for over 12 years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
