A great shop for any rotary-powered vehicle. Mike Vargas has an incredible amount of expertise on the rotary engine. He built the engine for my track car and it has performed beautifully. They have a dyno on site and the custom work that they do is very impressive. If you love rotary engines, you owe it to yourself to visit.

I've only needed to go to Angel Motorsports a few times but every time I go Mike, John, and Que are always looking out for me. Anytime I got a question about something with my FC they've always got an immediate answer. They're all very knowledgeable with any rotary application.

I haven't personally had any work done by Angel Motorsports yet, but I plan on building a car in the future and plan to utilize their services for it.I stumbled upon their shop at a dyno day at All Aspects Motorsports when I noticed a bunch of RX-7s parked in front of the Angel Motorsports building. They gladly gave us a tour of the building and showed off some of their current projects and were passionate about talking rotaries, and cars in general. Not to mention, they are the only rotary shop in the area, with very few other people willing to do rotary tuning, builds, and swaps.I'd gladly off them my business for any of my rotary or car building needs.

Found out my car blew an apex seal a few years ago. After taking my engine apart confirmed that it was, well, effed. After searching around online for replacement parts I started getting down thinking oh I ll find a good deal on 13bRew parts eventually .. we ll i didn t. Rx7 tax is a real thing especially if you own an Fd. I had never heard of angel Motorsports before I rode with a friend of mine up there to get his car tuned. That s when I met Mike and Vall and they were pretty awesome. After talking with him I found out he could rebuild my engine for the same price as I was finding some used parts for online. About 6 months later I had my money up and brought my crates of rotors housing irons you name it up there and dropped it off with him. True to his words the price was dead on and I even got a port and some other odds and ends. The whole process took about 3 months start to finish with the engine which includes getting the whole rotating assembly balanced. Mind you this was also while his wife was having a baby ON TOP of having 50 other cars there. After I picked up the engine I brought it home and tossed it in my car and returned it a few months later for tuning. Bam, everything went perfect. So here are a year later. Car is still running Perfect. I ve put more miles on it in the last year, than I did the first 3 years of owning it with 0 issues. I would and will recommend anyone with a rotary to Angel Motorsports if they have the means to get there. Wish I had done this review sooner but hey, now you get a review from a year later vs somebody that just had it done last week.

I don t know how these guys stay open? Multiple emails unanswered, they don t pick up their phone. Their website says you can t come to their shop without an appointment?! At this point I m going to go to Maryland instead since they don t want my business.
