Super satisfied with the service. Stanley was awesome to work with on finding some tires for me and had me in and out on schedule for a fair price. Didn't get any calls for additional work they felt needed to be done or upsells. Will definitely use them again.

About halfway into an 8 hour drive, my car started acting in a way that made me question whether my wheel bearings were starting to go. Knowing this was a huge safety concern, we figured we'd stop at a mechanic to get a professional opinion. We pulled into Perkins Tire and Service Center, explained the situation, and they immediately jumped to help us.It was determined that not one, but two wheel bearings were beyond ready for replacement. Knowing our situation (that we were in route to an event that we hoped to make on time), Perkins got right to work and squeezed us in, despite being very busy that day. They even let us borrow one of their cars so we could drive into town to grab lunch while we waited.Further, the mechanic went so far as to bring the wheel bearings out for us to see, and even drove around town with us after there repair to ensure we were satisfied with their work.Their professionalism, kindness, and compassion made what could have been an incredibly stressful situation feel like no big deal at all. We are entirely grateful for everyone at Perkins (and, we made it to our race in time!)10/10 recommend Perkins Tire and Service Center. Thank you again for your help!Heather & Geoff Hart

Becareful with this place there mechanic's can't tell the difference between a bad battery and bad starter. They just figured I'd bring it back for the starter all about the money not the customer. Then I was an idiot and used them again cause of convenience they screwed my 92 year old grandmother on fixed income.

Perkin s is the only Mechanic shop that I trust all my vehicles with. Stanley and his team take great care of my vehicles and the only ones I trust. They do not try to take advantage of any of their customers.

Driving through VA, got a flat, took care of right away, I was on the road in 15 minutes. Very nice people with excellent service.

Just stopped by due to the dreaded tire light and they took care of us right away! Couldn t have been nicer and wouldn t let us pay for their time. Just a sense of relief for two older folks on a road trip wish these guys were in my hometown!!

While we haven't been customers of Perkins too many times (so far), I continue to be impressed each time we go.Our last visit was the day before Thanksgiving because family illnesses had prevented us from getting our state inspection so we were going to see if we could get it done before the holiday--expecting either to be told no or even laughed at but instead the friendly staff dropped what they were doing to tackle the small task while we waited.This is a small community which sometimes can make you feel like an outsider if you were not born here but honestly, I felt welcomed like family at Perkins. My wife previously visited without me and was treated just as warmly as we were this visit.I gladly recommend Perkins Tire and Service Center if you are in the area.

Technicians and office staff are extremely professional and courteous! Had a repair quoted from a local dealership in Danville, and Perkins did it for ~$200 less! The team here has earned my trust and I'll be giving them my business in the future - they deserve it!

If you re interested in a good place to take your vehicle and a friendly atmosphere then this is your place. I ve done multiple business with Perkins and have never had a problem or complaint of any kind. They re very professional and down to earth with quality u can trust, I don t see why anyone wouldn t trust these guys with any repair or vehicle.take my word for it, Go by today and see what u don t get at big box stores, good customer service!!! I bet u anything they will treat you like family and not just a number ... give them a shot u will not be disappointed.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!! I generally don't leave reviews, good or bad. But the service I received from Stanley and Stephanie was outstanding. Very very helpful. Its hard to find a company that will go above and beyond to make you feel like you mean something to them these days. To say the least... I am extremely pleased!! About two weeks ago my husband and I went there and purchased two new tires for the front of our Buick. We have no complaints about that , however we had to take it back today to have them change out one of the new tires and the man pretty much told us that he wasn't replacing the tire. He was extremely rude. If I didn't have to put any stars, I wouldn't. Lesson learned. We will never set foot in that place of business. So much for customer service. We have found a great new place in Lynchburg.Service: Tires

Beware.. my nephew brought his truck to this place 3 months ago and it's still sitting there. They don't answer questions about when it's going to be ready. Say they are going to call you back and don't. Nephew had to tell them what was wrong with it. They said they have to order parts, and they still aren't in yet! Parts must be coming on a slow boat from China. This is the worst shop I have seen in a long time. I would not recommend this business.

This place is amazing! My husband and I were traveling from New York and had been having nothing but trouble with new tires put on by Goodyear. Perkins took us in without an appointment, took the time to assess the problem, and fixed it for us with excellent customer service and care. The world needs more people and places like this!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I research tires at Consumers and Tire Rack then call Perkins. They can get any brand/model/size in days and always offer best price without dickering. No need to pay until tires are installed. Price quoted is complete with tires, mounting, balancing, disposal and tax. No surprises.

Great service! Such a pleasant experience - which isn't always the case for women going in for any kind of car repair or issue. I highly recommend Perkins. Fast, friendly, and efficient!

Awesome! Dropped in feeling a little desperate because the undercarriage covering at my front bumper was dragging (very loudly!) on the ground as I drove. It so happens it was lunch time and they still squeezed in that job and took care of me without any problems. Thanks so much!!

Caring and considerate. Business was acted upon in a timely manner. Was recommended by a family member. I could not be happier. I was given another business to have the work done, and it was cheaper. But I felt comfortable with Perkins.

My 23 year old daughter is traveling home today with her dog from Hickory. Her tire pressure light came on and the service station air pump was not working. She drove down the street to Perkins Tire and they pulled her car in, checked all her tires, filled them with air and sent her on her way... NO CHARGE. She offered to pay and they said NO CHARGE! That is worth writing this review. It is the least I could do!!!

Took my car there for inspection and wheel bearing It was returned to me with the same noise. No fix. They then said it was shocks. So I paid for that. Returned to me making same noise. Which they claimed they didn't hear. Not sure how they could miss the noise that sounded like the wheels were going to fall off.I finally took it to another mechanic they fixed the wheel bearing and guess what no noise. Took the other shop only a few minutes to diagnose it. Was told by Perkins if they fixed everything the customer said was wrong that they would be doing unnecessary work and basically they would do what they wanted. Well not on my car.My thoughts are sometimes the customer might be right.

Our company Davenport Communications has been using them every since came to town about 7 years ago and I've had nothing but good experiences they always do good work. And stand behind what they do with the warranty. Just ask for Stanley he's the man there

I have to thank Stanley for helping this Single lady out. What a great person no matter how many times I called him. He never complained about it. He understood my situation and I had no one else to turn to. Thank you Stanley for helping me out trust me I will make sure you will get lots more work even though I know you are already busy. Always a friendly and honest place to take my car for state inspections. They do what they can to get you fixed and back on your way with no hassel or worries. Highly recommend for any of your car needs.
