I went in to get an oil change and rotation. There was a 5 minute wait and then Logan got my oil changed and tire rotated quickly. This was my first time at any Valvoline. Definitely prefer it to going to a shop or the dealership for an oil change. This was quick, easy and I'll definitely do it again.

Ever since this location opened, I had great service. Stopped by for an oil change today and arrived at 3:15 PM. There were two cars already in the garage and nobody in line. An employee approached and said, "We currently have a 45-minute wait, so we won't be able to get to you before we close [at 4 PM]." Surprised by the suspiciously convenient wait time, I headed down the road to grab a coffee. When I drove back by the location at 3:28 PM, one of the cars in the garage was gone. So much for that 45-minute wait. They don't want my business? Easy enough! I kept driving to one of the other new oil change services in town and enjoyed a great experience! No desire or need to return to Valvoline now!

The technicians were friendly, had a good attitude, and fast. I certainly did not feel ripped off or taken advantage of when I got my oil changed, plus its easy to find coupons online. Would recommend.

WOW! If we could we would give this place a ten. We don't just throw the star rating up like that! We even called to let the managers know how GREAT the service was. Anthony was JUST AWESOME!!! The staff were nice, but he was EXCELLENT! He smiled and asked how our day was going. He gave service with a smile, and didn't get bothered when he was asked a question. We HIGHLY recommend this place!! They make you want to come back! We were glad we had a coupon. They check your headlights, tires, air filter, battery, high beams, turning signals etc. Glad we came today!Services: Battery, Oil change

Incredibly happy with my experience getting an oil change and tire rotation here! The staff was very friendly and efficient. They explained everything well and did a quick maintenance check with my oil change. Be sure to look online for coupons before coming in as they can help reduce the price! I looked around for coupons a few days before coming in and screenshotted it because the deals on their website seem to change frequently. (Side note: I went to a Honda dealership before coming here and they charged twice the price for the service )

I was so frustrated with my experience here. I called the day ahead to make sure they had my oil filter in stock as it is not too common and was assured they had it. When I went in after waiting 15 minutes, I was informed that they did not and have not had the oil I use for almost 2 weeks.Employee didn't apologize of offer any options.Was worth it to pay more at the dealership.

First time visiting this store for an oil change after moving to Cville. The team was understaffed but let me know ahead of time that it might take a little longer.Isaac greeted me, followed by Dean and then Andrew. They were thorough, didn t try to sell me anything and just were overall friendly and positive while going through the overall safety checks on my car.

They were super fast and easy. Very helpful when it came to recommending what needed to be done to my car and explaining it. Does a quick maintanece check with your oil change which is very nice.

This is the best quick oil change venue in the area. The guys that work here all have great attitudes, it s fast and the prices are good. I highly recommend it.

A really nice place to do a quick oil change. No appointments, just wait for your turn and it will be in 30 minutes. Kind and professional. Best part is also, you sit in your car & relax. Thank you

I went here to get an oil change. The service was somewhat fast and the price did seem a little steep. A few days later, though, while I was driving down the interstate, something came loose and started making a flapping sound, and the screws for the splash guard were gone. Either the technician failed to reinsert them or they were loosely/sloppily screwed on, but I thought no big deal and fixed it myself. However, I took it to another shop not long afterwards and they told me that the oil drain plug gasket was missing, and the car was leaking oil. Great. In summary the technician did an incomplete job, and while I'm glad it wasn't worse, it was still bad and incomplete workmanship by Valvoline. I won't be going here again.

Amazing customer service. Went in for an oil change and was greeted with a smile and was left smiling at the end of the oil change. The team was amazing got the oil change done in 15 minutes. The price was not bad, I use their coupons which helps. After the oil change the team make sure not to leave any oil stains in my car. I was advised of services during current milage but wasn't forced/pushed into getting anything i didn't need. Thank you i will recommend and bring in my friends for their needs. Keep up the good work guys!Update 3/28/2024 still doing a great job guys!!!

Awesome job, Logan was great with customer service while everything got done and I feel bad for not remembering his name but the guy that had a G name (Gene possibly) was super courteous and wonderful

The service was not as fast as I thought it would be, the workers were friendly and enlightening. I don't know why, but my car had an oil change, and it has been sounding/feeling rough in the motor?? First time I have had this experience with an oil change.

Ever since I had a new engine installed in my truck I've been coming to this location for 3000 mile oil changes. No one else has change the oil or worked on this engine, so now I have a hose leaking that is in the area of my oil filter, which I assume where the clamp is. So your techs claim that they did cause the hose to come loose which is bogus in my opinion! The manage said that there was nothing they could do because it was lose when I arrived. They are the only ones that have changed my oil. Everyone is happy until something happened and then it not my fault!I will not be back to this location or use this company again and I will pass on my experience to anyone on where not to get an oil change! Good luck to these who keep coming to this location!

My boyfriend and I went here for an oil change and it was one of the best services we ve ever received! We went on a Sunday afternoon so luckily did not have to wait. It was our first time here and everyone was so nice and professional. They even changed the headlights / tail lights that were out and added more air in the tires. The manager (I forgot her name), Glenn, and the rest of the staff had exceptional customer service. No wonder this place has good reviews. Highly recommend and will be back for the next time we need another oil change!Service: Oil change

Update 12/22I returned for another oil change today and I got the same amazing, kind, fast and accurate service again. I don't plan on going anywhere else from now on.I really liked that you wait in your car while it's serviced. Sharod was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. All of the guys who had done the service were all great. They did a great job in a timely manner and were very friendly. I highly recommend.

I got wipers from here that started streaking after 3 weeks, and when I came for my next oil change, I told the tech when he asked how they were - Valvoline didn't care. Highly recommend going somewhere with warranty included (Take5) and shorter wait times, friendlier service and better prices.

I think it's high price BUT I have been to a place like this in a long time. So give that time and today prices it's not bad. The employees are very nice and to me they go over everything 100% and they didn't try and sell me everything, but they will let you know what your car recommends for your mileage. So if you need an oil change and you don't have a lot of time run by here they are very good.

This staff is totally service oriented. We had our BMW serviced and are very pleased. Pricing value beats other locations.-You don't have to exit your vehicle.-They explain each step they are going to perform BEFORE they start.-There are no high-pressure sales.-Coupons are easily found onlineWe will be regular customers.

I just had the best experience at the valvoline instant oil change on Gander in Charlottesville. The nicest tech helped me by filling up the coolant without me having to wait for the customers that were getting full oil changes. Great job!!! Thank you!!

Avoid - at all costs! I took my X3 there last Friday figuring I would try a new place. After an hour sitting in the car, watching the guys running around and trying to figure stuff out of the hood. I got 3 explanations about what was going on. Bottom line - my drain plugs went missing. I had to Uber to work while the new parts came in. Got a ride after work to pick it up. They would not credit me anything - as the ticket was already closed (They charged me 15 minutes into the service). I paid more for this oil change then I have at the BMW Dealer. Drove home. Took the car out again and the coolant low light came on. Quicky drove back home and the car was gushing with coolant. I called them and lost it! They sent someone that works there (Drew) with the Manager (Sheila). Drew looked at the car while Sheila sat in her car on the phone the whole time. Did not utter two words to me. Drew politely informed me the coolant hose was broken and told me they would cover repairs and rental car. Monday I got a call from Drew that they would tow the car and get it repaired. Got the car back Friday (A week later), paid $30 for an uber. Submitted all the paperwork as instructed to the corporate office for reimbursement of rental, uber, and a refund for the oil change. I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN A REFUND! I was told by another employee there that it would be 2 to 3 days and the refund would come to my email as a Bank of America Quick pay (I am owed close to about $600). I did receive a text from a 1-800 # saying they paid the mechanic. When I texted back asking where my money was for reimbursement - NO REPLY. I spoke to 3 people at this place during the time the oil change initial mishap happened with the drain plugs - and THE MANAGER SHEILA NEVER SPOKE TO ME. However she had no problem telling me "we closed the ticket it can't be changed". When I asked for a refund. Thankful for Drew who assisted and gave me information!!!Service: Oil change
