I could not be happier with the service we get here. My family right now has a fleet of older vehicles for our personal use, including more than one car from 2003. Things happen with them, and Thomas Wheel has been so helpful and generous in understanding the maintenance and repair needs while never feeling like they were up-selling us at all. Very fair prices, very kind people, great communication. They have my loyalty for as long as I have vehicles running in Central Virginia.

I've been to so many car repair shops over the years and this is the one I'm staying at. They are honest and competitive with pricing. I never worry about them trying to do any repairs I don't need. Several times they have surprised me with how low the cost of repairs were. And the staff are always a pleasure to work with. You can't go wrong at Thomas Wheel.

The auto techs do excellent work at a reasonable price. The office staff are knowledgeable and give helpful advice. Thomas Wheel was recommended to us 7 years ago, and we wouldn't go anywhere else!!

I have a 1985 Chevy truck with custom exhaust and I needed some work done. I called around town and most people didn t even want to help me. Thomas s was happy to help and they did a great job for a great price. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family

A coworker recommended them. We had an issue with a turning signal and other general maintenance needs. They were lightening fast even with the bad weather. The pricing was reasonable. They were upfront about my options and didn't try to push unnecessary services. I would definitely go back.

This company claims to have been around a long time. Yet when they looked at my car and told me the repairs needed. They acted as if they were born yesterday. They did all these expensive repairs, but when they completed the repairs. They told me that a different expensive repair was actually needed. I'm sure they will continue to be in business for many years to come, but they will never have my business again. Of course no customer knows if a mechanic is replacing everything that they bill a customer for, unless the customer is standing there in the garage through the entire repair. Customers leave their cars with mechanic with the hope that they are truly honest and will charge a fair price. I made the mistake of using Thomas Wheel Alignment, because my regular mechanic was severely backed up with faithful customers. Next time I will patiently wait to use my regular mechanic, because my car would have be properly diagnosed and cheaper to repair.

Already loved these guys but had not written a review. I was moved to do so after I had to use a different shop north of town as that was where my car dealer had negotiated a special rate and the car was not drivable. Wow! 4 days later I am still waiting for my car and a follow up call - this is after I walked in on day 2 to see what the heck was going on and was told they should be working on it that afternoon! Thomas Wheel are always polite, communicative and the best prices in town. I was already a pretty loyal customer but after trying another shop I am completely dedicated!

What a great experience. I called them just before closing Monday afternoon explaining that I was buying a car the next day and really needed help getting it inspected. I was driving into Charlottesville from 1 1/2 hours away and had a limited period of time to get my inspection performed. Heidi was very patient and helpful. Though she noted that they were completely booked up for the next day, she made space and time to get me in to help me out. Everyone there was extremely nice- her sister, her sons, her husband as well as Jerome. What a great family operated business that is customer focused and goes out of their way to try to help you. Their inspection was solid and thorough and their price was very fair. I strongly recommend Wheel Alignment and Auto.

Very pleased with my experience here for a little custom exhaust job. The turn around time was very quick for my appointment. I'm a car enthusiast and very particular on how I want things done; the staff here were very accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond!

It's amazing what politeness, fair pricing, and quality service will do for a business. Ask anyone who knows Thomas Wheel Alignment, and they will rave about it. I tried them out for the first time about a month ago and could not have been happier. One of the ladies in the office looked up several pages of print outs of tires that fit my car. I asked her to make a recommendation based on how many tires they sell of each brand. She went down the list giving me pros and cons of each tires within my prices range. Instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need, she pointed out some quality tires I could afford and let me make the decision. To top it off, the price was extremely fair and I was surprised when they called me a day earlier than I had expected to inform me my car was ready. I couldn't pick it up that day and the lady on phone told me it was totally fine to leave it there until I could come by.Any competitors of Thomas Wheel that ever read this...remember, customers can tell whether or not you respect them and care when you help them. At Thomas Wheel, the service and respect are as real as it gets.

These folks are the absolute BEST!! Not only did they take very good care of my classic car while it was in their possession, they did an OUTSTANDING job on my exhaust & alignment. I have used them for exhaust on many cars and they always impress me. Whether you have a daily driver, or a show car you need some work done on call these folks!!

VERY good service with an unbelievable turn-around time. They came in $2,500 less than another local shop on a big repair bill and was able to FINISH before the other guys were even talking about starting. With work like this, your competition isn't really competition at all. Keep up the great work and you will most certainly be my go-to for any future work like this. I'll also be sure to recommend to friends.

Service may be decent, I am in no way a car expert to verify that. But the lady I dealt with is one of the rudest individuals I have ever had to deal with in the service industry. Constantly interrupting me and refusing to answer my questions. I tried to give them my business but my time is too valuable to deal with that. Will be going else where from now on, even if it is more expensive. Maybe the other people at this place of business are better because there are tons of reviews about "the friendly people" but she singlehanded talked me into giving anywhere else my business.

Took my truck here for inspection. Treated me great. Went to pay the bill, ran over a traffic cone and killed it. Sorry about that. Thanks you for a great job. Found a new mechanic.

I've taken my cars to different places in the 3 years I've lived in Charlottesville, this is the best experience that I've had. I took my car in for an alignment, oil change and to look into what is going on electrically with my dashboard lights. They called and gave me an update on my car and let me know other problems that was going on with my car. I authorized the additional repairs and when I got my car back it was in excellent condition, they even put caps on my tire valves. That may seem little but it's the care, and attention to detail that makes the difference. My car will never go anywhere else.

Always great service from Heidi and the team at Thomas Wheel. They go above and beyond for their customers! In the past 6 years, my vehicle has always been ready same day at a very reasonable price.

They have been great to work with and are always watching out for my budget and work with me to develop a plan of attack! I have had oil changes, state inspection, brakes, power window work, engine codes on two of my cars. Very friendly, family owned business.

I have always used Thomas Wheel alignment for regular maintenance on my car, and I recommend them to everyone. Last week I was heading out of town on vacation when my engine light came on. I called Heidi; she told me there were no openings that day. She asked me what the problem was and I explained the situation to her. They took a look at it, replaced the oxygen sensor, and I was on the road one hour later. They are the definition of a hometown mechanic you can rely on people who will go out of their way to help you out of a jam.

It s hard to find good automotive service these days. These folks are awesome. I ve been taking my vehicles there the past few years for service and repair. Their mechanics are top notch and the lady s that work the front office are courteous and helpful. And you can t beat their prices. I definitely recommend Thomas Wheel Alignment.

I moved here a few years back. It's one of my priorities to find a mechanic when I move to a new town. I'm glad that I found an honest mechanic after a few bad recommendations.Thomas wheel alignment has always quoted lower prices and fixes the problem promptly. They give a best case scenario and a worst case scenario on a problem. I find they frequently discover it to be the best case(less expensive) scenario and that only further credits their integrity.

An honest mechanic with integrity- no surprises, other than pleasant ones! Quality of repairs are top-notched .. Helpful staff makes it easy to do business with them. I would highly recommend Thomas Wheel Alignment & Auto!
