I just began renting a unit recently and it was an easy process! I loved the online portal and how quickly I could gain access without having to visit in person or anything. (I have 2 littles so in person errands can get hectic!) They have a great promo running and with the close proximity to my neighborhood I couldn t pass it up. Facility is clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend!!

Easy to reserve a unit, and if you want to get it early, before the reservation that is no problem! I went there and was greeted by a super friendly lady at the front desk, told her I had a reservation, but wanted to get it earlier, and then I had reserved for. And it was such a breeze! The whole process took maybe all of 12 minutes signing a couple things and going over the Storage policies! Nice clean building! Indoors and right beside a Wawa! Couldn t ask for a better location!!!

My family's experience at Storage Sense Pantops in Charlottesville has been nothing short of spectacular. Brian Williams is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He listens carefully to descriptions of clients' needs, and responds with great options for storage solutions. The facility is up-to-date and clean. We will be recommending Storage Sense Pantops without hesitation to all our friends.

UPDATE: My name is actually Liam Fitzgerald, I can't figure out how to change my google name. But post-move out I can still say that this has still been a fantastic experience at Storage Sense! The manager, Brian, went above and beyond for me. I was driving down at 5:30pm (they close at 6pm) from Washington DC. I forgot my key and called panicked since I would have to drive back to get it which would throw off my whole moving plan. Brian was able to get a district manager to come after hours with him to cut my lock for me and make sure I kept my moving plans without having to reschedule my UHaul or anything else. He was polite, professional, and responded quickly to my concerns. I don't know what I would have done if he hadn't stuck his neck out to make sure my move went as planned. THANK YOU!It was super easy moving my apartment into storage! The staff were very friendly and provided all the tools I needed to store my items.

I had two storage units here for about 2 years. It s always clean and temperature controlled inside. There s no funky smells or anything like that. The staff is very responsive to emails and is attentive if anything is up with your unit.

I rented a unit here for 14 months and that was simple enough. It's too bad that ending things is so much harder. Back in August, we picked up our stuff and told the lady at the front desk that we were moving. She said no problem.Every month since then I have gotten an email telling me that rent is due. I figured that was just a glitch in their system, until couple of days ago when a collections company got in contact with me. Turns out they want the money for all those months since we moved out.Be careful. Just because you're done with Storage Server doesn't mean they are done with you.

From the moment I walked into the Storage Sense main office to the completion of my rental agreement I was provided by the staff with full explanation of the rental process and a tour of the exceptional storage facility so I could determine what exactly would meet my storage requirements. After the rental was completed and I began "moving in", found that the management staff had a walk-trhough the facility to make sure all was well.I was struck too my the cleanliness of the complex and the rest rooms.In fact,, my newness caused me to neglect to slide the door lockiing device to the correct closure position before I inserted my key lock. My negligence resulted in my unit not being fully locked.However, when staff made their tour through the floor on which my unit was located, they noticed my error and called me immediately so I could return and properly close and fully lock tthe unit door.I am grarteful for their diligence.

Everything was smooth and easy, no hidden fees or surprises and the facility is one if the nicest I've ever seen. Also, moving our stuff in was very easy with the use of the large flatbed carts that were provided

I was an invited guest by one of your renters to help him count comic books he recently inherited from his son, who tragically passed away recently.I charged NOTHING for this service, nor was ANY of this persons property EVER offered to me for sale, etc. I was doing this as a favor to his son, who has been a long-time client of mine.In the middle of helping your client (a registered minister, who is a senior citizen, and his wife), I was approached by your employee who told me I had to leave.I asked WHY, and he said "you can't conduct business here." I assured him I was only helping him count his comic books, and refused to accept compensation for my time. I do NOT take advantage of people out of grief. Your client ALSO confirmed this, and said he was not interested in selling ANYTHING out of the storage unit, he merely wanted to know what he had.The next step was for your employee to tell me he was going to call the police and have me forcibly removed from the premises. Keep in mind, I was entirely inside the storage unit, I was invited, and it was after-hours. There was zero indication of ANY business being conducted, nor was there any reason to suspect that business was conducted. PERIOD.Regardless, I was escorted off of your property without reason, recourse or explanation.I insist on a FORMAL apology from your senior management. I wasA) invited by someone who has an active lease with youB) did not leave the designated space of that individualC) Did NOT engage in ANY of the activities I was accused of (video of the incident will support this)D) did NOT perform ANY behaviour which would incur the threat of involving the authorities.In fact, when asked to leave, I did so without hesitation.NOBODY should be threatened with a call from the police without cause. PERIOD.

The facility is always clean, safe and comfortable. Manager is responsive when you have questions. It's everything you would want from a storage center.

Needed a storage space for our business closure. The rental was efficient, all is clean and well lit. After seeing the space I rented it was too large and I was able to switch to a smaller unit with no trouble and one phone call, very helpful when having so many things up in the air. Staff was very helpful and friendly and I feel that my things will be safe until ready to move!

My experience with storage sense was great! I only needed summer storage, and they were extremely helpful and responsive to all of my questions. Setting my unit up was extremely easy, and it was even easier cancelling my unit after I no longer needed storage. I will without a doubt continue to use storage sense in the future!!

Everything was fine, except they entered my credit card number incorrectly, didn't contact me to tell me my payments weren't going through, then prepared to sell off my stuff. Very very bad, but I'm assuming that's a one-time human error. The rest of the experience was fine: the units are easily accessible. The parking lot is a little small when there are big moving trucks there. The staff is pretty decent, although they are kinda overzealous about keeping drinks out of the facility. Their choice. But definitely I am confident my belongings were safe, secure, and in a climate-stabilized area, and they made it through unscathed.

The manager was super helpful and professional. As a former self-storage manager myself, I appreciate the attention to detail and his thoroughness, from explaining the differences in the different levels of temperature control vs climate control, showing me the available unit, and explaining process for entry, parking, and he was thorough with the details of the contract's terms. The facility is super nice and clean, and he is committed to keeping it that way.

The staff, clean environment, and location all compliment themselves! Best indoor climate controlled facility that Charlottesville has to offer. The only downfall is complications moving items in and out due to extremely bad design of parking lot area for bigger trucks or trucks with trailers, loading and unloading, and doorway entry inclined for proper rain runoff but without door awning providing cover. Thank you all for being #1!!

Very clean and well managed facility. The staff is top notch. William is professional, thorough and helpful. I was especially impressed and grateful when he called to alert me that I had failed to slide the door bolt on my unit and it wasn t actually locked. Apparently the staff routinely check units to make sure they re secure. Im a long-term renter and I really appreciate the extra level of care and service.

Brian & William are very nice & professional. They will help you move something if you ask. The place is really clean & the AC is the best. There's carts you can use as well to haul your stuff. Ive never had any issues & I've had my unit for about a year now. I'm glad I found this place for my storage. I'll try to remember to take some pictures of the inside.

Place is really awesome. We needed two very large units and management was very helpful in securing them for us. Place is very clean, well managed and easy to deal with. We've never once worried about our stuff. Payment is super easy with auto-draft. Parking lot can get a bit crowded at popular times, but if you call in advance, they can also tell you when to come (and how to get 18-wheelers in/out). Highly recommend!
