Star Taxi is the BEST way to get around the Charlottesville area! Max was communicative, prompt, flexible and his rides were always reasonably priced. After riding with Star Taxi to / from our friend s engagement party, we re already booking them for the wedding next year! Could not recommend this taxi service more.

My flight at CHO was cancelled last Friday. The agent from United Airlines and I spent 30 min but could not find a single hotel room in town for the night s stay. Star Taxi was called to transport me, but I could not tell the driver where to go. Max was extremely patient and even called a number of hotels nearby. Apparently some big events were happening and all hotels booked. I was visiting from out of state for a short business trip, thus knew little about Charlottesville. After perhaps another 30 minutes, Max found me a hotel in Waynesboro, a town almost 40 miles away. He helped me to secure a room on the way there and chatted pleasantly. I booked him to pick me up next morning before 5 am to return to the airport. When arrived, I was bit shocked by the taxi fare for the ride since the airlines voucher was way not enough. Next morning, Max arrived at 4:50 am as promised, although it was cold and raining. He was all polite and smiling, then I suddenly remembered that I forgot to tip him yesterday! He told me that he even went back to UA and requested another voucher for me, thus I don t have to pay for the second ride. I can t say how moved I was by his kindness, generosity and professionalism. If allowed, I d have given 7 stars to Max and his company.

Stellar service! I have used Star Taxi for about 3 to 4 years now. I am a flight attendant so I have a lot of last-minute schedule and transportation changes. Always available, always on time, always answers the phone. Additionally, just an all around nice guy! I would highly recommend.

THE BEST! Personable, clean car, fast pickup and I was able to preschedule a next-day pickup for the airport. Reasonable rates. I had called a different service and after an hour they still hadn t arrived so I called this service. I don t do lyft or other unlicensed providers. I prefer the professionalism of a certified taxi and this place delivered with fast friendly service! Will use again!!

Max, you are the best! Thank you so much for the pleasant ride. Not only did Max promptly respond and quote me a fair price, he also showed up at the airport on time and drove me a long distance home. Your car is lovely but even more so, your warm and kind disposition made me feel comfortable and we had a lovely chat. I am so glad I found your taxi service. Thank you again and I highly recommend to those needing any type of transportation! Max is the go to!

Max was absolutely wonderful! We were in town for my bachelorette weekend, and he took the best care of us. He was on time, the car was so clean it shined, he had charging cables, gave us the rights to DJ. He was a great driver, I felt extremely safe, and was really just a joy to converse with. He even took pictures of us at every stop! If you need a driver for the Charlottesville area, Max is your guy! :)Service: Limousines

I've used Star Taxi a few times now and have had a great experience every time. Always on time and easy communication from the very start. There was a delay at baggage claim, and Max was really understanding and waited for me until I was able to pick up my luggage. Max is also a great conversationalist and made me feel at ease during the ride. I had a couple of heavy suitcases, which he helped me carry all the way up to my apartment. I know I can always count on Max and his team for reliable airport transportation and will definitely be using his services again. I highly recommend!Service: Limousines

Truly a lovely experience! I called last minute at 5:00 am after a previously arranged ride fell through and the driver/owner immediately answered and arrived in 15 minutes, with updates as he was on his way. The vehicle was well maintained and he was kind and knowledgeable about the area. Can t say enough good things, highly recommend!

We used Star Taxi for our one year anniversary trip, and from the first communication to the end of our day it was a great experience. As we planned our trip he stayed in constant communication with us. He picked us up promptly and made sure we arrived safely at all locations and that we had the best experience visiting Charlottesville. His knowledge of the area and friendliness added to the outstanding experience. Max provided absolutely exceptional service (and exceeded our expectations) in every way. We were in Charlottesville for a brief visit, arriving at the airport at midnight and scheduled to leave the following evening. We booked him the day before. From that first point of contact on, Max was friendly, prompt, and responsive. He remained in constant contact with us every step of the way, ensuring a seamless pick up and drop off despite the late hour. He was also conversational and engaging. We were so impressed we immediately booked him for the return trip to the airport. Again, he followed through, with attention to detail, and he skillfully helped us avoid any traffic issues on the return. Max delivers exemplary customer service. We highly recommend Star Taxi.

I had a very late flight coming in to Charlottesville on a Wednesday night, so I was a little worried on getting from the airport to my home since I knew that Uber and Lyfts don t run late or really early in this town. But thankfully I found Star Taxi and sent them a message to schedule my pickup, and immediately they responded back letting me know that they would happy to help me! They were at the airport at the exact time I told them! And helped me with my luggage. The driver Saleh was very kind and got me home at a good time! Thank you Saleh and thank you Star Taxi! You guys are the best! I highly recommend! 10/10

My group used Star Taxi for transport between our wineries. Max was fantastic and so friendly! He showed up early to pick us up at our house and went above and beyond during our time using his service. He had bottled water for us, offered to take group photos, was waiting outside whenever we finished at one stop and were ready to go to the next. He even mailed my bag that I left under the seat. I would 100% book again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for transport in the area! 6/5 stars

Last minute booking for late night pick up at CHO on a rainy Super Bowl Sunday. Great communication, on time and waited for (and helped with) luggage. What can I say: a very professional, friendly and reliable taxi service - the best I have experienced in Charlottesville!

Max came to pick us up at the drop of a hat and was absolutely amazing! Our rental car had broken down and there was not a single rideshare service that was willing to pick us up. Despite this, Max made the trek to come grab us and even allowed us to bring our dog and luggage since we were on a road trip. He was personable and timely and even sent text updates on his ETA. Couldn t recommend more!

Service was amazing!! I just flew in after a big winter storm and was waiting for a taxi for almost two hours until they called back saying they weren't going to get me. So I called Star Taxi and they were there in 15 minutes! (Should of called him first). The ride was great and good conversation. I was riding with two others and was the last to be dropped off, but we ended up getting stuck from the roads being covered in ice. He was able to call another fellow Taxi driver to pick us up so we had to leave his car and my suitcase. He did what he could to make sure I got home and the next day he brought my suitcase to my house, no problems. He didn't even charge me even when I begged him to. It was an interesting experience but the whole time he was nice and did whatever he could to make sure I got home safe! Excellent Service and such a nice and friendly guy!

I visited Charlottesville, VA with 5 girlfriends & we booked their services for an entire day to drive us between vinery s in the area. Our driver Max was extremely friendly & a very safe driver. He even provided us with water bottles after every stop. We had an outstanding experience with him & I would highly recommend it. Thank you so much for making our trip so easy and comfortable!

Star Taxi went above and beyond during our wine trip in Charlottesville. Our driver, Max, was extremely helpful, friendly, and a safe driver that took great care of us during our trip. From thoughtful touches of bringing a pack of water, to offering to take a group picture for us. We would absolutely recommend Star Taxi. Ask for Max if you want an 11/10 experience!!

These guys picked us up when our field trip bus broke down on the side of the highway, and drove 11 of us the three hours back home. Both drivers were wonderful and gave us a great deal. Can t recommend these guys highly enough. They are the absolute best.

I had a great experience with Max at Star Taxi! After arriving at the Charlottesville airport, I wasn't able to get a Lyft (it seems the ride sharing services like to stick closer to downtown) and luckily found Max at the taxi waiting area. He dropped me off at my hotel and we shared a nice chat along the way. When I mentioned I was heading back to the airport on Sunday morning, he offered to pick me up and take me there, which I really appreciated. I've been burned a few times by Uber trying to get to the airport by a certain time, and it was really nice to be able to get reliable transportation. Sure enough, Max arrived right on time on Sunday morning! Really great service. Glad to be able to support a local business!

Max with Star Taxi provided transportation for me from the DC airport to Charlottesville Virginia. After a long day of travel I was thankful to have someone navigate the confusing directions and traffic. Max was a wonderful communicator, staying in touch with me the entire time, offered to stop whenever I needed him to, and got me there safely! I was slightly nervous about using a car service for such a long time but Max was professional and so delightful to talk with. I highly recommend Max with Star Taxi.

Max is amazing! Very prompt! Very knowledgeable about the area! He even put our wine glasses in a safe place while we were touring the vineyards. You will not be disappointed! Wish I could use his services all the time ! Will definitely call him when I m back in the are!

Max was a great driver! He fit me in last minute on a ride from the airport late one night and then picked me up on a scheduled ride several days later. He was easy to communicate with and very sociable. My ride to and from the airport (to and from uva grounds) averaged $35-40 on both trips. Thanks Max for driving me!

Star Taxi s services were great. We pre-arranged Max to pick me up from the airport, and he waited despite my flight being delayed and not being able to reach me by phone. On the way back to the airport, he arrived early and we had a great conversation about life in Charlottesville. He also had a mask ready to wear, should I request it. Highly recommend!!

Max was incredible! He is uber helpful and went above and beyond expectations. He was very upfront about the routes & costs, too. It wasnt a short ride i had and Max was a great conversationalist. Absolutely 5-star service!! Max and his team were incredibly accommodating after a last minute request to help drive 14 guests around Charlottesville for wedding festivities. Max was a fantastic communicator and was beyond helpful as we figured out logistics. Our day around the city was perfect, with no worries of not having enough Ubers, because Max and team were there to help ensure smooth sailing :) We can t wait to return to Charlottesville for a visit soon and will absolutely be using Max and the Star Taxi team again.
