I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Shull and he was so kind, humble, and professional. My car had accidentally been hit and we brought it to him quick. He was able to give an estimate right away and also get started on it. My car was handed back to me so fast, I was very impressed. Shulls did an incredibly job working on my car. I wasn t even sure before I found them if I was going to be able to get it fixed. What was going to be a way too expensive repair on an older car, turned out to be an incredibly generous repair for much lower. They came and picked up my car and dropped it off for free. They fit me in and were able to get it done in less than a week from when I initially called them. Absolutely incredible service!! I would 100% come back here. I felt respected and that they were putting my safety first. Best place to go!! Thank you so much Shulls Auto!

He was so nice and helped me understand my car better. He replaced my valve cover gasket efficiently. I completely trust him with my car and his prices are very reasonable. I will be coming here for now on for my repairs and routine oil changes. Thank you again!!

Glenn is a phenomenal mechanic to have in Charlottesville. Within a day of calling him, he had my car picked up, worked on, and delivered back to me. You can t find better door to door service, especially in this economy. His price was fair and his work was top notch.

I needed to get a hitch installed before a family trip, most other shops had a 2-3 week wait. Glen got me in the week I needed it and installed the hitch for a fair price. He even picked the car up and dropped it off on time!

I assisted one of my friends who had car issues over to shulls and was skeptical at first but this guy absolutely blew me away. He did work on Sunday when I believe he normally doesn't and had it done within 2 hours, replacing and installing multiple parts. 10/10 recommend

If I could give shulls six stars, I would. Glenn was so truly kind, down to earth, flexible, quick and does the job right! I would truly recommend him to anyone. Glen did my transmission oil and replaced my alternator belt! He realized my brakes needed to realigned and topped my engine fluids off. Free of charge he sanded my headlights and polished them. Did a fantastic job. I really appreciate his communication, timeliness, honesty and the fact that he only works on three cars at a time for quality of work. I'd go back again!

Mr. Glen was an absolute pleasure to work with. I am so grateful for him! He was able to repair a scratch on my car from someone hitting it with their door and even drove me back to my apartment at UVA. He is absolutely incredible and one of the kindest people. He also completed an oil change on my vehicle. Extremely knowledgeable about Jeep Wranglers, Mr. Glen is amazing. If you need anything done, please work with him! You won t regret it. Wow, what a fantastic experience! It's really hard to find this kind of service any more. . We heard some break pad interactions with the rotors. We had to have the brakes inspected and or replaced by Sunday We called the automotive services early on Saturday morning. Glenn answered the phone and graciously open his shop on Sunday morning. My daughter was going out of town And State to do a job. He took an extra few minutes to assure her that my daughter had a passageway in her vehicle safely. I will give this service 10 gold stars. I thank you Glen! You are a good man!Service: Brakes

Somebody backed into my wife's highlander leaving damage to the back bumper. We took it to Glen and had a great experience!! He was super responsive text or calling, he was very upfront with price, and ETA of getting it done. We were able to drop off the car during non-work hours and pick it up whenever we were free. It looked absolutely incredible! When I picked it up Glen was so nice and walked me through what happened, what he fixed, etc. The best part was he was very apologetic because I picked it up a bit earlier than expected and he kept saying he didn't have time to wash it. That goes to show you the level of quality he puts into his work. Awesome experience!! Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend Shull s! My car was fixed in about two days, and Glen fixed a whole lot while being communicative the whole time! He made my front bumper look brand new, changed the radiator and fixed one of the door handles. My car drives great, thank you so much Glen.

Glen is the guy to go to for a straightforward, no frills, and efficient experience to fix your car. He was easy to communicate with because he personally communicates with customers via phone and text, and I found that so much easier than calling and leaving messages through different people at a larger shop. I was rear-ended and needed the bumper replaced and last time this happened at a different shop, it took weeks to fix. Glen was very prepared and ordered the parts ahead of time, so that he was able to fix my car in less than 48 hours. We got to chat a bit when I picked my car up and had a nice conversation.Wayfinding tip for new customers: if you are coming from the direction of The Local, it s difficult to see the sign for the shop. It s the first driveway on the left just past Mas Tapas, then drive down the hill and the shop is past the metal gates and wood pile. If you are coming from Carlton Rd, then you ll see the sign more easily.

Shull's did a very nice job repairing our car from deer impact damage. They got our car into the shop within a week, which was three months before anyone else was able to work on the car. Our insurance company had frustrating hold-ups that made the repair take longer than hoped, but Glen went out of his way to do the work in spite of that and get the car to us.Service: Body & Trim

Shull's just completed a fender bender job for us and we were exceptionally surprised and pleased at the unexpected level of service Glen and his team provided . Not only did he offer to come to US (in Cville) to give an estimate, but he picked up and returned the car to us 3 days later-- Detailed and cleaned of tree sap! Never had a body shop do that before. Lead time on job was less than a week to start. Glen was in close contact with us every step of the way, from the point of Estimate on, sharing pics, etc. He even cleaned the engine.Very pleased with the job and the excellent Customer Service and highly recommend!

Incredibly grateful for our experience with Glen! Had some hiccups while moving and had to have a trailer hitch installed on the fly... not only was Glen compassionate enough to work me into his schedule, but he was thoughtful and honest enough that the expensive part I had purchased was not necessary, and advised me to take it back and get a refund. He suggested a more affordable alternative, and installed it, which assured me a safe thousand-mile haul.I highly recommend Glen and will definitely take my cars here when needed - as trust in this industry and feeling like someone's actually taking care of you is gold!

Glenn did a fantastic job prepping my work van for a full wrap. He replaced the hood, removed a ton of dings and dents and primed it. This is a business owner that holds to his word. He is a rare find. There is no need to search elsewhere. Thank you Glenn!

Great work, above & beyond. The rear end of my Prius was destroyed, and Glen made it look like new. Seems to really like his job. Hope I don't need body work again, but if I do, I know where I'll go.

In timely fashion, Glen had my Jeep repaired. He and his team are extremely friendly, I felt like I was trusting a friend to fix my car. I dropped it off the night before, and he had it fixed the very next morning. He also does work for a great price, as much as we (the customers) know how costly cars can be, Glen wants to save you as much as he can. I had to leave this review, because it wasn't for reading others reviews, who knows where I would have went.Service: Body & Trim

I wanted a local shop instead of a chain place and found Shull s. He is hands down THE BEST car guy I have ever worked with. He was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to fix the weird problem with my car. He went through a lot of trouble researching all the options I could take to save the most money instead of doing the quick fix.Besides that, he was incredibly kind and great to talk to (he s a Charlottesville native and knows a ton about town). I can t recommend shull s enough.

Glen was my 4th call after being told by other shops that I needed to schedule a time for an estimate just to look at my bumper, and also pay $75 just for the estimate. Glen came through with shining colors and not only had me bring my daughters car in the same day but within an hour had the dent pulled out and the car looked so much better. The Price was extremely reasonable and he provided low and higher cost options which was useful. If you want old fashion service with someone you can trust, then Glen is your man!Service: Body & Trim

Mr. Shull was very kind, professional, and thorough. He was able to give me a quote right away, and fixed my car for a very fair price compared to other garages. When I went to pick up my car, he took the time to explain, in detail, what had been broken in my car and patiently answered any question I had. Very friendly service and he seems to be a very hard worker. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their car.

My 2011 Toyota Camry broke down in Charlottesville; the alternator was bad. I towed it to a nearby mechanic, but they could not work on the car for another week, so we contacted Glen Shull. Glen was very helpful and accommodating. I called him at 8 am and explained the situation. By 2 pm, he transported the car to his shop and completed the repair. He also did a few extras that you would rarely experience at most shops. He topped off fluids, charged up the battery, and even picked me up from campus at 4:30 pm. Glen made a difficult situation very simple and easy.Glen Shull has a very simple way of doing business. I worked out the details (w/ estimate) over the phone, and he called when the work was done. I don t think Glen takes credit cards so I paid via Zelle.If I need a mechanic in Charlottesville again, I will call Glen Shull. He was awesome!Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I would recommend Shull's to anyone! He fixed the door on my car after I dented and scraped it up. He provided great service at a very fair price and sent updates throughout the entire process. He was very kind, attentive, and made sure I approved of the final job. He even went above and beyond, driving far out of his way to pick up a new door for the car. I really appreciate his help and would 100% recommend.

I called Glen at noon today after getting into a fender bender that resulted in my front bumper being knocked off. Other places were saying it would need to be replaced which would cost between $1000-$1500. Glen told me to bring it by and he would take a look at it. He looked at it and said he could put it back on for under $250! He finished the job in just under a few hours and it looks great. There is still a gap between the headlight and the driver side of my bumper because I knocked a part off in the collision that would be necessary to fill that gap. I so appreciated that Glen looked at it and said that if I wanted to fill that gap I could get the part and he could put it on. I appreciated even more, however, that he said that the part was really not at all necessary if I was not concerned with the aesthetics of my car (which I am not!). I was so impressed with how quickly he did the job and how nice he made the repair look even without the missing part. And on top of it all, he buffed my headlights for free so that my car would pass inspection. Will definitely be bringing my car to him again in the future and could not recommend him enough to anyone else.Service: Body & Trim
