I am so thankful and grateful to have called Reggie for my trailer that had 2 bad bearings While I was traveling from Pennsylvania, he was able to quickly fix it and get me back on the road.. thanks Reggie.I have also recommended my son to use your shop for his car. Took my truck in for an emergency repair. Reggie was initially very responsive and communicative. First problem : requested no carquest parts to be used. Went to pick the truck up, got the bill, and it was over double what I was expecting, and low quality carquest parts were used. After driving the vehicle for a couple days, noticed that the steering was still very loose, when according to Reggie the entire front end has been redone. Took the truck to another mechanic and over half the parts were installed incorrectly and they trashed the steering box when they installed the new pitman arm. Truck wasn't even safe to drive, even though I had been. Called Reggie and he of course denied it and asked for photo evidence. I sent him pictures and never heard back. Took it for a learning lesson, had the other mechanics correct all the other issues, and just won't use Reggie again.

I recently took my car to Raggie's Auto Service for a state inspection, which took three days. After receiving a call about a needed $10 bulb and a $35 ball joint, I picked up my car today. However, I was surprised by a $600 charge for installation. This unexpected cost was not communicated beforehand, and it significantly impacted my overall experience. Communication about additional charges would greatly improve customer satisfaction.

Very Reasonable Prices! I ve been going to Reggie s Auto for the last 3yrs he does an incredible job, I won t ever go anywhere else. Very Honest, and reliable Mechanic, and the work is done very fast.

Today was my third time at Reggie s with multiple vehicles that he s worked on. He s very fair very honest he takes care of me. I would highly recommend this auto shop he doesn t do extreme big jobs, but what he does, he s very good at.

Reggie was great and helped us understand the problem. It took some time to find the correct replacement parts but Reggie tried his best to fix the car and keep us on the loop. Would highly recommend.

I went to reggie s to diagnose what I suspected was the battery. They confirmed that I needed a new battery but then quoted me $500. That is an absolute ridiculous price for a standard Ford car. I called around and the dealership even said it would only be $200. They tried to price gouge me and then got mad when I said I was going somewhere else. When I went to pick my car up they charged me a $100 diagnostic fee, which was absurd for what took all of 10 minutes. These prices were out of control and they abused the fact that I am a female in a college town. Unreliable and unprofessional!! Do not go here.

This place is honestly the BEST in town. The service and prices are literally the greatest I have ever experience. Reggie and the team are great. They will go out of their way to do everything they can to make sure your car is safe and good to go. Was passing through Virginia and my car broke down I called Reggie s auto service and they were able to tow my car at a very good price and get me back on the road the same day!!!! Very reasonable prices!

I was on my way back home to WV and a rear heater hose blew and I was broke down beside the road a few miles from his shop. I called a tow truck and he told me that he had a friend that could possibly fix my car for me. Mr Reggie made sure that my car was safe for me and my girls to travel on. Mr Reggie and the guy working with him today was amazing!!! Angels in disguise!!!!!

I've been to Reggie's several times now with two different cars. It's always been a great experience and I can highly recommend taking your car here if you want an honest, straightforward diagnosis. My car had a persistent problem that existed for a couple of years and nobody in Charlottesville was able to fix it. I took my car to Reggie's a couple of days ago and it was fixed in one day. My 2005 ride now drives like fresh from Detroit factory. EXCELLENT WORK! Efficiently diagnosed problem in the transmission, timely service, very trustworthy, and great communicator. Plus on top of that, the cost was super reasonable. This is the second time my college student son has had privilege to use "Reggie's Auto Service" in Charlottesville. Thanks Reggie and staff!!!

Reggie and his business are top notch!! Honest, clear communicators with integrity in their name. He helped me get out of a bind while setting me up with honesty but then doing all he could to do better for me but never leaving me to be let down. Pricing was more then fair for it all too! Take all your work to him as honesty and care is hard to find these days.

Reggie is the go to man for your vehicle! Not only once but twice with two separate vehicles got them up and running same day!! He doesn t beat around the bush and tells you it how it is and what s wrong with your vehicle. This was my first time using Reggie Auto Service since me and my wife just recently moved to Charlottesville, VA. I took my Toyota RAV4 for service and inspection. Reggie kept me posted on the progress, and did an amazing job working on my brakes and rotors. Price was reasonable, drive is flawless, and I could not be happier! Awesome customer service! We came from out of town and where 1.5 hours away from home when our alternator gave out on the weekend. Reggie s place was the only location that helped fix my car so we could go home. He went out of his way to get the piece from a different vendor, stayed after hours to help, and fixed my car! Great place!

We were in town for Thanksgiving from out of state and experienced an issue with our vehicle. We took our vehicle to Reggie and were amazed at the prompt and professional turnaround. They made a possible nightmare into as pleasant an experience as possible. We live far away but would highly recommend this establishment.

He is transparent about the costs involved, but it's worth noting that the parts will have a much higher markup (he charges at least triple the market price, in my case 5 times more expensive than Auto Parts) and a simple 20-minute job could be priced at over $150 there.

I had an excellent experience with this shop. Reggie was polite, thorough, and plainly interested in providing value rather than upselling maintenance services. He took time to explain the problems and potential solutions and ballparked prices for each of the options. He was also highly knowledgeable, quick, and fit my job in on just a half hour's notice. I was driving by and my car lost power, I was barely able to pull in. The stopped what they were doing and fixed my car immediately. They changed out my thermostat for 2/3 the price my friend got hers replaced 10 years ago. They were so kind and got me on the road in no time. My usual shop takes a week to just see your car. I was traveling through town and my Jeep started to misfire. I pulled into Reggie's Auto Service and explained my problems.Within a few minutes he diagnosed the problem. He had me fixed and back on the road in about an hour.He knew I was an out of towner and could have said, and charged anything. I had to get back on the road.He didn't. I was charged a fair price for exactly what was wrong, nothing extra.Everyone who lives in the Charlottesville area should be going to Reggie's for their car maintenance.
