I had a great experience with these guys today! I got a huge nail in one of my tires and was sure I'd have to get it replaced, but Kaleb was able to patch it, and I ended up paying a fraction of what I thought I would. Not to mention they were nice enough to do it pretty much at closing time I was expecting to have to come back the next day but they got me in-and-out in like half an hour. All in all I'm very grateful for their expertise and help!

Thank you Chris for being a real life hero. I was so happy to see that the shop was open and you were able to provide service to me with no appointment. I also want to thank the young lady at the desk ( sorry I did not get her name ), when you first walk in, as I am certain my anxiety was enough to have you all questioning my sanity. Your shop was welcoming and you all addressed my concern with attentiveness and in a very timely manner. I was made to feel at ease thanks to the knowledgeable and skilled Chris who was then able to remedy the issue leaving me a very satisfied customer. I highly recommend your shop as a first stop for those looking to have their car serviced.Update - the nice, courteous and helpful young lady is Tiana. I just wanted to mention her as she was so inviting and made a rough day a whole lot better, handled my panic attack with grace , which helped me when I was vulnerable.

One of my tires sprung a quickly-geowing leak on my way to the hospital for my aunt's transplant surgery. Went to NTB once she was taken back and they were incredibly helpful. I didn't have an appointment and it turned out I needed a whole new tire, which meant 4 new tires due to my particular car and the wear on the other tires. They got it all fixed and aligned and gave me a good deal which made the pain of the unexpected expense less painful during an already stressful time. I appreciate all of there help and I was back in the waiting room before she came out of surgery. Their help alleviated the added stress of a flat tire during a tight situation and I am incredibly grateful, thanks!

All I can say is that this was a blessed, amazing auto service! I originally came in for what I thought was a shard of metal lodged in one of my rear tires, but it turned out to be a tiny screw wedged in between the tread. Chris did the initial tire diagnosis noting that I d soon need a replacement, and then later his colleagues (like Caleb and Tyler) went to work on plugging up an actual leak I wasn t entirely aware of, and raising the car to briefly inspect/check. I came in expecting to pay up big time, but ended up getting a free checkup, a mini crash course on wheels, and a wonderful life story filled with faith and family in the waiting period throughout Again, final total: $0. For that, I m forever thankful, and ready for Mavis Tires to takeover NTB with the light of the world in mind! :)10/10 would recommend,- They make you feel like you re at home, and they re respectful

I have been going to many NTBs since I got my first car in 2017, I trust their expertise and appreciate that I can go there (as a woman) and know they re not trying to upcharge me or lie to be about what needs to be repaired. Currently, I took my car there because of a rattling noise, and not only did they find the cause within two hours, they let me know right away the replacement of the part was not a service they provided, but quickly recommended another trusted mechanic who could do the job. I ll continue to recommend this place to friends and family!!

I went to NTB on Long Street and they were amazing. I went due to my tire sensor light and wanting a quote for tires. Not only did they fix the tire sensor issue but replaced the sensor I had purchased a couple of weeks prior that had not been installed correctly by another mechanic. I am truly thankful for their honesty and the time they spent checking everything on my car. I would recommend them for sure.

Stopped in here while traveling because I thought I had ran over a nail and my car was telling me my air was low. No charge at all. They put my car on the racks and checked the pressure. Sent me on my way within 30 minutes. 10/10 recommend.

Shoutout to the awesome folks at NTB on Long for saving the day during a whirlwind trip visiting colleges with my daughter! We hit a snag on the very first night when the tire pressure sensor lit up on our rental car. Knowing we had a lot of driving ahead and a pretty tight schedule, I thought it was best to get it checked out.NTB got me in right away and found not one, but two nail punctures. They got things patched up and we were back on the road without missing a beat.Their friendly and efficient service made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. I can't thank them enough for keeping us safe and ensuring our trip went smoothly. Thank you.

I dropped my car off mid-afternoon at NTB/Mavis on a Tuesday, to be state inspected by the end of the day on Wednesday.The staff at the counter, especially Chris, the manager were all very friendly and helpful in making it a simple, yet positive, experience. By late morning on Wednesday, the inspection was completed and I was called promptly.The only negative aspect of the entire service visit was learning from Chris, the manager, that Mavis doesn't participate in the CarShield Rewards Program. As much as I enjoyed using NTB over the past year to purchase 8 tires, I'll likely find another local auto service and tire center that will participate in the CarShield programs.Please feel free to contact me about this review.Thank you,Mike TCharlottesville Virginia

I showed up not long before they were going to close with a nail in my tire. Everyone was friendly and they patched my tire quickly so I could get home with my kids. I would recommend going here and I'll be back.

I love NTB! Chris is always warm and welcoming, but more importantly honest! In the land of auto repairs, one can't help but feel that they are constantly being taken advantage of. I don't feel that way with NTB. They are straightforward, honest, get me in and out in a expected amount of time and are, by far, the best I have experienced in my over 40 years of different auto repair places. Thanks Jairos for the great work on my car today!

The afternoon before Thanksgiving I discovered a nail in my tire and NTB got me in and got the tire patched at the last minute despite it being almost time for them to close. I watched several other customers come in while I waited. The staff was super friendly to me and everyone else. Ill definitely come back for any tire related services. Thanks NTB for getting me back on the road so quickly.

Being from out of town during a National Holiday, as well as, having a town full of the wildest of football fans, my family and I were apprehensive when and in what condition our broken down car would be returned to us. After professionally discussing all the issues, including what had happened to the vehicle, what parts were damaged, how much time and money it would take to take to get it repaired and finally when would it be finished. Our somewhat older auto took a dive on Friday night at 8:00 PM. With the help of our Auto insurance, we were towed to NTB National Tire & Battery, service center. It isn't unusual for a large amount of the auto mechanical centers to be closed on any given Saturday for which we were prepared. NTB was opened but were not preforming any mechanical projects. Luckily their personnel were there and made what arrangements were possible. Bright and early on Monday morning my car's part was ordered. I was given an estimated time to come and drive my vehicle home. That afternoon at the appointed time while walking past the bay doors, I glanced inside and there, low and behold my older wounded Lexus was parked and I swear, rearing to go. My complete family and I couldn't have asked for any better promptness, professional politeness, and oh yes the most manageable price.Thank you NTB!

The staff at NTB are always so ready to help even when I call 10 minutes ahead of when I want an appointment! On top of that, they are friendly, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond. They do a great job of setting expectations about when your car will be done and almost always deliver ahead of schedule. I don t dread going to the mechanic anymore thinking who knows how long this will take, or how much money it will cost me, or are they trying to rip me off . :)

We had a great experience with Chris and the rest of the team at NTB. We needed a specific tire ordered and replaced in order to travel home safely after the holiday, and NTB delivered in a pinch! Thank you very much and would definitely recommend going there for any and all car repair or replacement needs.

My Lexus lost power while traveling through Charlottesville recently. NTB worked very quickly and professionally to replace my alternator in order to get my wife and me back on the road. Very impressed by store manager Chris and assistant store manager William!

I've had my vehicle in this store twice in the last couple months. Each time, it was an unexpected time-sensitive issue. In both cases, they fit me into the schedule on very short notice and got me back up and running quickly. Also very friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommend.

This is th best experience I have ever had NTB/Mavis. I was heading to church one evening after dinner and the tire pressure in one of my cars starting to go down rather rapidly! I was able to go to them and found out I had run over a screw. I believe the man's name was Jack that helped me. This was Dec 6th and they we about to close. He patched the hole for me and I was able to get home. Thank you so much for all your help! Leah

If I could give more than five stars, I would. I have been coming in practically weekly for the past year (the joys of a horrible car) and have never had anything but the best experience there. Adam, Chris, and the entire staff are so helpful and professional and just generally fantastic. They have helped me keep my car running for far longer than any of us thought possible and have taken such great care of me and my car that the only reason I'm sad I'm getting a new car is because I won't be in there as often.

William got me in on a Saturday to replace shocks and struts on a RAV. He was excellent to work with and provided a very reasonable quote to get the service done. Always had good luck with this particular location.

I m very grateful for NTB for giving the stem on my Mercedes! When I thought I was about to have to pay for something serious, they replaced my stem free of charge! Such a blessing, I really appreciate it.

Eight years ago my friend told me to take my car to this place, and now every time we go out, I buy her drinks. This is a great team of people who have taken tremendous care of my vehicles (with no judgement for the messy condition in which I often deliver them!) and I cannot sing their praises enough - thus my very first google review. They're professional and competent but also kind and really care about customer service. I love the Long Street NTB.

Very sweet! I worked with a Mr. Liam and he was fantastic. I went in for a simple oil change and some minor other questions about my vehicle and he and his staff were able to answer all of my questions and concerns. Definitely was a great first impression !! I will be doing business with them majorly now. Thank you guys !!

NTB - Charlottesville on Long St. has the best team. They are always so professional, helpful, and courteous. I purchased my tires from them and I also had a service completed recently that was very thorough and efficient. I had a bolt from an engine cover fall off so I came in expecting to drop of car for a couple of days but hoping it s a simple fix. They took care of it in 10min while I waited. Very grateful for quick service and honest assessment. This is why I ve been coming back here for years.

They wanted to charge me 400$ for new brakes and rotors, when I didn t need rotors replaced. Beware, they will charge you for work you probably don t need. Changed the brakes myself for 100$, rotors were still great. Beware this place
