They efficiently replaced the VVA part in my vehicle at a cost that was only a half of the market price. The team's reliability and quality service are truly commendable. Shawn (co-owner and mechanic) is super amazing and helpful. This place was recently bought out, and he revamped the place completely so it s really homey and welcoming compared to the last owner. 10/10 recommend for anyone to come here with their car problems, Shawn described my problem in a simple way for me to understand and gave me a very reasonable price, and a very short wait time. Great service!

Shawn and his team are great!!! I was referred by a friend because my vehicle needed an A/C blower resistor. Shawn went above and beyond diagnosing the issue with the one I had purchased and recommended I get one specific for my vehicle and not one that was just compatible. I appreciate the honesty and the fair pricing. I will definitely be a return customer for my future auto repair needs, and I will refer all my family and friends. Thanks J-Team Auto Repair!!! Best auto shop in Charlottesville. Shawn is dependable, customer service oriented and offers great prices for his work. If the service isn't done to his taste he will make it right. I have done business with Jteam auto a few times now and will remain a customer of theirs for as long as they can put up with me.I primarily visited Jteam for custom exhaust work that was completed rather quickly and it looks great. Other visits were for maintenance that I didn't have time to complete myself.Thanks again Shawn and Jteam.

Went to J Team after a bad experience at the Nissan dealership. The team was friendly and helpful and fixed my issue for almost half the price of the dealership. This is how you run a auto shop. Highly recommended.

I'm a senior lady that depends on hervehicle to work 24/7, have to have relable service. The J TEAM will make time in their extremely busy schedule to at least access the problem as soon as possible....Always give me what I need to know, so I can understand and gather my situation and truly can know my options. These folks totally put my mind at ease, I can rest in their expertise and know they will caringly go the extra mile to keep my auto operational ....and keep the expenses reasonabke...so thankful!

Charles and the other two mechanics are approachable and solution focussed. If you have an interest in the repair, go with these guys. The work is easily visible and they will take the time out to explain the work, step by step. Highly recommend an appointment. Extremely convenient is the Fisher parts store next door. They can walk to get your parts, whch come to Fisher twice a day, most days.

Just had a great experience here as a first time customer. They were able to diagnose a noise that two other shops couldn t and then they fixed it on the spot. Had J Team install a new suspension setup for my fun car and they did a solid job. The thing that really made me happy was the price. I expected to tear a limb off but was pleasantly surprised. Joe did a great job of explaining everything without being demeaning or trying to pull one on me. Excellent experience with Shawn and his team. My truck had failed an inspection for an exhaust leak and I called J Team Exhaust. Shawn was able to get me in within a couple days of the call and got me back on the road for just over $100 bucks. I had also been told I needed a complete front end brake job because of a sticking caliper. He tore everything apart and confirmed everything was actually in good shape, saving me over a grand in unneeded repairs. Honest, capable professional. Will definitely recommend.Service: Exhaust

I've been looking for a local mechanic for a few years. I saw the high rating for J Team on here and gave them a try.Outstanding in every way! Professional, quick, fair pricing, honest... I was visiting Charlottesville and J Team was recommended to me by a friend. I had received an expensive diagnosis and wanted it checked out immediately. They did a thorough review and found a similar issue, but explained that I had options that would not impact my safety nor the car's integrity. The team was very kind and professional, didn t make me feel stupid about my questions, and then didn t charge me! I wish I could take my car there all the time. Very good auto shop!! They let you know what options you can go with, you can even bring in your own parts for them to put on your vehicle. And honestly, the best part is you don't feel like you're being taken advantage of like most auto shops. At least six ppl i know have taken there vehicle to J teams & all of them have recommended them... I'm so glad i listened to them!!

The staff was very nice! I was traveling from Boston and broke my transmission seal. They don't do transmissions but he put in 3 quarts of transmission fluid for me and recommended me a place to go get the work done with no labor charged! Amazing people at this shop. The shop is beautiful too.

J Team always does a great job with my cars. They are my go-to place in town I trust to charge fairly and only recommend work that actually needs to be done. They are professional, friendly, and also have a waiting area I don't dread hanging out in.

I cannot stress enough how great these guys are. They diagnosed and repaired my car's transmission mount problem, as well as a couple of other issues caused by the Honda dealer in town, quickly and professionally. I have never been to a shop that is so focused on both customer service and repair service to the degree that they are. We will be back with J Team as our exclusive mechanic, without a doubt.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I like this location because it's close to my work. I used to go to Allied Auto and it was OK but now J Team is at this location. I also used to go to Airport Auto too but their prices have gone up a lot and almost the same as a dealer. I only went to J Team once and they were polite, prompt, and professional - called me when car was done. They stayed within their quote and it was done when they said it would be done. The work was done well. Most importantly they did not try to up sell me on unnecessary work. I am very happy that there is a good auto repair business at this location and I will definitely return.

I forgot the gentlemans man but he did my rear brakes for reasonable price, as well as my sway links too. And was able to get to it within a week. Definitely recommend

Word of Mouth Garage recommend J-Team for my exhaust replacement and I am so happy they did. Tucked in next to Fisher Auto Parts just past Brown Collision Center on Berkmar Drive right off Seminole Trail(Route 29) southbound you can find the hidden jewel of Charlottesville s exhaust experts. My Jeep has never sounded better and they are totally honest mechanics with the greatest set-up for exhaust work.Service: Exhaust

Honest...they told me that they couldn't fix my car, but referred me to another person..Ramos Welding on Seminole Trail behind Charlottesville Oriental, who did an excellent job...Mr. Ramos took care of me and gave me a fair price for the work he did. A lot of auto repair businesses aren't like that... they see money first.
