I needed a windshield replacement and I am very happy I made the best choice to call Glass Doctor. I was able to speak to a real person unlike the other place I tried, the young lady that took my call was for helpful, friendly, explained everything throughly, and my appointment was set up very quickly. The techs actually arrived early which was awesome, they were pleasant, polite, courteous, and friendly. They did a great job and it took no time at all. I'm pleased with the work and would recommend them again and again. Thank you Glass Doctor!!!!

Competitive prices and great customer service. Called my insurance agent for me to ensure that I could have this done with minimal charge to me. Came and replaced my windshield at my own house without having to drive anywhere.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. Tracey stayed after to help me with my windshield claim. She took care of everything for me! She made this process so painless. The technician Dwayne was very knowledgeable and friendly and did an excellent job replacing my windshield. I will definitely be using this company for any of my future needs. They stand behind their work and you can always talk with a live person when you call!

They did fantastic job. Came on time to my house and replaced windshield in 90 minutes. Nice cleanup job. All electronics were recalibrated perfectly. In past I have used SafeLite, will never use them again. Glass Doctor is best!

I worked with Kristen and another woman (I believe her name was Tracey. I hope that's correct). Everything was super easy. They have multiple to communicate for anyone who prefers technology or talking on the phone. The day before they called to confirm my appointment, but the window of time wasn't going to work for me. They must have adjusted the whole days route to find a better time slot for me.

In August of this year, I needed my windshield replaced on my car. The company was very responsive and easy to deal with. However, upon completion of the windshield replacement, they told me the windshield "couldn't be calibrated and would need to be taken to the BMW service center." Fine. I accept that. However, I should've gone immediately thereafter. I didn't, as I didn't see this as an urgent issue. I suppose it isn't "urgent," but I just received a quote from the BMW service center for my yearly inspection. One of the cameras was broken during the replacement process (which explains why it had a persistent alarm after the windshield replacement, which I was told was "because it needs to be calibrated). Some of the weather guards (I'm sure there are more specific names for that) were broken or moved in a, to use the service person's word, "odd" way. And now the bill for my standard yearly check-up is climbing substantially.Great communication. Fast work. But sloppy at best.

They replaced a broken window 8 off the ground and was 44 x 65 and made it look easy. The only glass company I ll be calling.

They did and excellent job coordinating with the dealership to replace my windshield, the customer service was excellent and the job itself is really good. I would definitely recommend them over other well known national brands

I had a chip repair the size of a nickel fixed. The lady in the office was very helpful and professional. The technician was on time and completed the job in 10 minutes. However, debris was left on my hood from the work performed. Glass Dr is $50-60 dollars cheaper than Safelite. Overall thus far, I'm satisfied.

Only one day wait for appt and work was done quickly and expertly by the GM, Shannon. I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that I had to trace the office for the bill 2 weeks later, which included an estimate to repair the upper sash of double pane window for moisture issues. I felt the $300+ estimate was too expensive to repair one half of a sash window, even allowing for supply chain issues and an unknown long delay for the needed parts to come in. I decided not to have the latter done. It was grateful for the other repairs Shannon took care of while here.

The staff was very polite and professional everytime I spoke to them on the phone. They told me about a coupon that was online that I would have never known about and would not have been necessary for me to hire them to change my windshield. They were very good about keeping me updated regarding my appointment since the weather caused it to be postponed. Their technician was professional and performed the work quickly without leaving any mess or signs of rushing the work. I had to split my payment between two different cards which they had no issues accommodating for me. I would definitely recommend this company to others since they use high quality OE equivalent glass rather than the cheap Chinese glass that other companies in the same price range use. The price was right, the quality was right and the service was great! A+ all around from me!

What an amazing non frustrating experience with the people at glass doctor. Their competitors wanted me to wait 2 weeks before I could get a windshield replaced. glass doctor was at my home the next day. And was way cheaper. I hope I don't break another window but if I do I know who to call.

Called Charlottesville Glass Doctor number for an estimate on replacing one sliding glass door glass. After they visited our home to estimate the job we received an email with quote from Glass Doctor with the Harrisonburg address. Nevertheless the quote was a whopping $1,115.57 which is an absolute ripoff. Also we had to pay $30.00 up front which is nonrefundable to have Glass Doctor perform the estimate. Sorry folks but that $30 dollars is the last cent you will ever get out of me. We had the job completed by a different Charlottesville glass service that charged under $500 total. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and take your business elsewhere!

Great service, easy to work with, fair prices. Had a single-hung window's top sash replaced (this is not easily removable). Sent pictures and measurements over email, and within 2 weeks, the technicians took it out and created/cut a new 30.5" x 27" wide double-pane on-site to the same size and re-installed the replacement within 1 hour for ~$370.

I called them Friday morning and they came Monday morning to my home and installed the new windshield. Amazingly fast turnaround time. Also, they've been very professional and courteous. I was amazed at how inexpensive the whole thing was.

What a great experience doing business with them. I had a unique application and with covid I had to work with them all via text and phone. They were awesome and I was delivered the glass to my house promptly and it fit perfectly. Total professionals at a very reasonable price.

Glass Doctor came in with an estimate that was an excellent value. What I like best is there were NO hidden fees. The quote included tax, disposal fee and new clips. Besides that they have a 1 year warranty against breakage or chips. So if you get damage they will repair it or replace the windshield if necessary. The work was very professional and the installer showed up on time.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Just called glass doctor, they quoted me $579 to replace my windshield. When I said , no thank you, you are $200 higher than another place. They amazingly were able to drop the price by $150. Rather shaddy. I will not have this place replace my windshield, since they play games with the price.This placed called me back 30 minutes after I left this review, from the "local office" to offer me a third price. This business is ripping off old people who don't price shop and trust that they are getting a fair price.

Worst service company I have ever dealt with. Sometimes you get company's that have good customer service. Sometimes you get company's that have good craftsmanship. A great company has both. This company has neither. From the installers to management, their service is poor at best. Everyone makes mistakes. It's what you do to correct those mistakes when they happen that counts. They could have taken care of this by simply doing the right thing, but every chance they had they to do so they chose not to. If they gave my money back and offered to replace every windshield in my fleet for free, I still wouldn't use or recommend them! They are not local. They aren't even located in Charlottesville, so before they even begin work for you they are telling you a lie.1. Botched the replacement of the windshield on a brand new truck.2. Acted like I was wrong for calling them to make a quality repair.3. Made me wait for a return visit even though water was pouring down the INSIDE of a truck i.e. dash board, back up camera and stereo.4. Tried to use a cheap patch job on their brand new window they replaced in my brand new truck.5. Set an appointment to replace their windshield AGAIN after their shoddy repair didn't work and Rescheduled that appointment twice.6. Promised to bring documentation stating they were fully responsible for any damage to any electrical components and two weeks later I have received NOTHING. Every time I call I get one lie after another about why I haven't received it.

It was great having my windshield replaced at my home. However, the technician did I not clean the windshield after completing the instillation. I still have a film on the inside of the windshield. I can also hear air coming through the windshield as I drive down the highway.Edit: I added a star because they replaced my windshield at no cost to make sure the windshield was sealed properly. I just wish they would clean the windshield before they install; it is so hard to clean once it is installed.

Pricing was good and Kristen and the installer were responsive, professional and did a good job. Highly recommend especially vs Safelite which was just the opposite - highly priced, impossible to get on the phone and generally unresponsive.

Kristen was an exceptional customer service rep, after safelite failed to order the right part I chose glassdoctor as the repair guys, the communication, price, and service was great! Much better than the other guys

The technician arrived early. Got straight to work and was done very quickly. The price was fair and the work was excellent. Will definitely use again in the future if the need arises.
