Firefly moto is the best motorcycle shop I've ever dealt with, and especially in the charlottesville area! Had my bike fully serviced and given a once over, the owner was super responsive and let me know everything before hand, his shop rate and parts prices are the best ive seen in the area. Quality of work is outstanding, and his pick up and delivery is an awesome option as well!I recommend firefly to all the riders I know in the area for their bikes and mine will be serviced there from now on.

Such incredible workers. Always accommodating, they fix it the same day, such incredible service and kindest people I have ever met. They truly are so helpful and totally recommend using if you live in Charlottesville area. They have fixed my moped a numerous amount of times and have such great prices, they have picked up my scooter when I needed a repair that same day, fix it, and return it day of. They are life savers & makes it such a fast and easy process!

I rarely write reviews, but Tom and the team at Firefly Moto deserve the utmost praise and appreciation for a flawless, seamless customer service experience:After an unfortunate low-side on my recently-purchased 1000rr, I was less concerned about the bike because I was trying to figure out how I'd afford multiple trips out to Waynesboro, and how much of my savings I'd have to blow for an overpriced, lengthy repair.To my absolute delight, I heard about Tom and Firefly in Charlottesville, and the end-to-end experience was THE BEST customer service experience, flawless repair, and top-notch communication that I have ever witnessed.Also worth mentioning - Tom and the crew are bringing a MUCH needed facility downtown with a team of techs, who, if they are anything like Tom, will be an absolute blessing for the Charlottesville riding community.Pros:* Ease of pickup/dropoff* Full transparency throughout the process* Incredibly-efficient & quick fix* Flexibility and communication* Cost of labor / parts* Face-to-face SME knowledge from start to finish* Advice for future upgrades and repairs* Cost (yes that's worth mentioning twice)Cons:* I wish I had known about Firefly's services before taking my bike elsewhere!Joking aside, there isn't a single complaint or negative point of feedback I have, which is really saying something. I've had Tom work on my bike since I've bought it. He's always provided great service, helped me out in multiple situations and has always treated my bike well. He's taken the time to help explain things to me for when I want to do future projects myself and his rates/ cost of parts have always been more than fair. I can't recommend Firefly Moto enough.

This place is aweosme they really know what they are doing and try and help whenever they can. The techs were super helpful ordering parts for me and charging cost for them, and the labor was also super reasonable. They have worked on my cruiser and my sports bike doing great work both times. I really cannot express how grateful I am to have a knowledgeable and reliable shop near me these days. I m sure I ll be back with my next bike. Really appricate you guys thanks again

Tom did a phenomenal job repairing my moped after it was stolen earlier this year. Everything that needed work was repaired quickly, correctly, and his team was very communicative throughout the whole process. I can t recommend their services enough! Best in the business!

Absolutely the best person to help service my bikes! Tom at Firefly took care of an immediate needed maintenance that I paid another service shop to conduct. He's incredibly generous in support and even more technical in service delivery. Now he just needs more space to match his passion for helping and serving customers! Thanks again!

Great mechanic. Transparent business practices. Good human.Tom at Firefly Moto has exceeded all of my expectations. Concierge service transporting my bike from house to shop and back. Kept in touch throughout the process and provided valuable advice about next steps. My Ducati is looking good and running smooth.Going forward - Tom is my mechanic. Firefly is my shop.

Unfortunately I have to say that I had a bad experience, I was so excited there was business 5 star great reviews that was near my house , but unfortunately it was a bad experience for me , he is a really nice guy , explained everything ,But he told me that he was 80$ a hour and parts upfront, but he took upon himself to buy the parts , never called me to tell the price of the parts , nothing , week and a half go by he called me , bike is ready 1200 bucks .I said ok no problem, went to get the bike brought it home , come to find out the gas thank had so much rust , that when it took it for a ride it got me stranded , they said they cleaned the best they could , but Iff I showed you the picture you would not believe the rust in it , there was no break fluidAnd checked the coolant an there was 0 coolant in it , they half fast itNow I m down 1200 bucks and might have to clean the gas thank myselfNever going back their again

I am a total motorcycle noob shopping around for my first bike, just googling shops in the area... I called the number at like 9:30pm, and the owner Tom just straight up answered the phone, and with enthusiasm. He spent like 15 minutes just giving free advice. I haven't used their services yet, but if that level of customer service is indicative of the rest of this operation, safe to assume they do good work. Friggin awesome.

Literally the best motorcycle mechanic out there. Period. Tom helped me so much. I only needed a few things things done, he helped and explained everything to me and taught me a lot about bikes. He got everything fixed within the hour and priced it at a very good price. Would ve been charged 10 times more if I had gone anywhere else. Cough* Cough* Wayne s Cycle Shop.

Excellent Experience... My daughter goes to college nearby and we are 7 hours away. Spoke with Tom, gave him the details and explained the situation. He was so flexible and made the entire process extremely easy. Picked up my daughter's moped, allowed me to communicate via phone/text and gave me all the info I needed to put my mind at ease. Once he picked up her moped, he took it to his shop and within a few days, parts were ordered, bike was repaired and delivered back to her. It could not have been an easier process. I would totally recommend them if you are in Charlottesville. Great Job!

I can t say enough good things about this shop. From first contact, through pickup and delivery, communication was excellent. Work was professional and high quality. In addition to routine maintenance, Tom provided guidance on, and installation of, replacement LED turn signal indicators that would work well for my motorcycle. Extremely happy with the final results. Overall 5 stars!

Absolute 5 star service! Firefly went as far as ordering all necessary parts for me.. and still had my bike back to me within 7 days. Tom is excellent.. provided me part suggestions at both the high and low end pricing. Bike looks amazing and is running like a charm. Myself and others plan to have some upgrades installed over the winter.. Very happy to be serviced by Firefly; I was driving to Fredericksburg and Woodbridge for motorcycle work.

Okay so the other night my motorcycle was acting up really bad(back firing/cutting out to the point of being unrideable) so I had to leave it at 7/11. The next day I m at 7/11 working on this thing and Tom comes up and helps me out, no joke alone this would have taken a quite while to do on my own. The fact that he offered to help me out while he was in the middle of a run to the store was absolutely amazing! He is very knowledgeable and was able to get this done in less than 30mins also offered to give my bike a run to his shop if my spark plug replacement didn t work. also it s kind of funny because I messaged Tom about 2-3 weeks ago and he has been helping me basically rebuild a 2002 hayabusa (about to hand it over to Tom) over the phone. I would highly recommend this shop because honestly this guy is great and he knows what he is doing, has the best hourly price, and offers pick up for your bike!

My son s Yamaha Scooter broke down in the middle of Rugby Road at UVA. It s not easy getting someone to immediately come out to help. Tom took the scooter and worked on it. It was a big job and we weren t sure it was salvageable/worth fixing. In the end, it most certainly was! The scooter is older as it belonged to my older son, and although we had a good relationship with another individual who had been our go to , he is no longer in the business of fixing scooters. We are very happy to have found Firefly Moto, and we will be using Tom to service the scooter from now on.

Tom is amazing. Helped get my son's dirt bike back into action with a new chain and adjustments. Also told my son Santa sent him to fix his bike and explained what he'd do to get it fixed. Great guy you won't be disappointed.

Tom was immediately responsive and so helpful! I had a flat he came out and towed me back to his shop and we had the wheel off for repair in no time flat!
