Great service! Jack answered all of my questions over the phone and helped me in person the following day. I had an 8 year old battery that had corroded pretty severely. Jack cleaned everything up, removed the old battery and installed a new one in 30 minutes time. Really good price on the battery as well. Highly recommend these guys. Very professional, polite, straightforward and no nonsense.

Many thanks to Jack for testing the battery in my son s car, confirming that it needed a replacement, and quickly installing a new one. Such a great shop with friendly, knowledgeable service. Definitely recommend!

Excellent service. Guy helped me find exactly what I needed and even let me bring 2 batteries to make sure I got what fit. Employees knew everyone s name, clearly a lot of regulars. Would absolutely recommend them.

Not sure why these reviews are anything less than five stars plus. These guys are super nice. Very knowledgeable, very courteous, very friendly. Too bad everyone can't be this way. They are my battery buying place for now on.I thought I had a bad battery that another place checked and said it was bad. These guys charged it and checked it and it's as good as new. I could like working at a place like this.Awesome people, keep up the great job guys. And thanks for the work and service you provided for me on April 29.

I have used Central Battery for over 30 years. I maintain a fleet of very old (some over 60 years old) vehicles. No matter what weird battery I need or stupid question I ask they are there to help. They are the ONLY BATTERY shop to use in z central Virginia. I was just in there to buy a 6volt weird size 4Amp battery. They got it for me and that 60 year old motorcycle is back on the road. If there is ANY battery or any question about your vehicle electrical system they can answer it. Also, they are the nicest girly in the world!

I came In looking to have my battery looked at by one of the specialists, and right away I was greeted by one kind and helpful guy! In no more than 10 minutes he took a look at my truck battery and had a new one installed! One of the best customer service experiences I ve had in a long time! Outstanding! A++!!! Needed to jump my car yesterday, this place came highly recommended so I popped in after work to check my battery status. Jack was super friendly and tested the battery, shared unbiased info and didn t pressure me into getting a new one but I decided to based on the summer trips I have planned. He had a brand new battery installed in just a few minutes while we shot the breeze about Charlottesville, Idaho, fishing, and winter sports. Exceptional experience. Can t recommend highly enough.

This place has been my go to for great service. Today they had a loaner battery for me to borrow for a week since it is a 40 minute drive and I won't be back till next week. On top of that, they told me the battery was dead but chargeable and didn't try to sell me anything. I will continue to come here.21 Dec 2020 update - I have since been back at least three more times once for my dad's truck, my daughter's 95 Wrangler and now gain for that same battery that brought me in here a couple of years ago. (I may have bought a battery for my 93 Ranger)Today I bought a reconditioned battery and they gave me the choice of $60 of they put it in our $40 of I do it. I left without my tools, and they have me the ratchet to do it. And on you off that, they remembered my name. That is great service.

I've been buying batteries at Central Battery almost since they opened, and during this time sometimes for multiple vehicles of various types. Always great service, fair prices, and so far their batteries have always outlasted the original equipment batteries. They have expertise, perform meticulous installation, and care about getting it right.

Bottom line -- buy your batteries and battery related stuff (cables, jumpers, etc.) here! Super customer service! Prices more than fair. My car sits for extended periods and needed some type of easy cut off for the battery so it would not drain. These folks fixed me up and tested it all before I left. And, I just stopped in with no appointment. Also purchased a jumper, which they walked me thru how to use and explained why it was a reliable product relative to cheaper ones. Excellent all around! Service, speed, and price.

I had purchased a battery from Central after the recommendation from a co worker about 3 years ago. The battery had died a couple weeks ago and I just remembered this morning that it might have had a warranty on it. I called Central, they told me to bring it by so they could check, and I did. Sure enough, it had a 5 year warranty!!! Free replacement and swap! I will never buy a battery from anywhere else now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

What a great experience. Honest and Knowledgeable (and friendly to boot). I had shopped online and picked out a battery at one of the car parts stores and someone mentioned Central Battery. I stopped by just to see and wow. Not only was it a better price in the end (after installation and factoring in disposal, etc.) but they were helpful and they are problem solvers, they didn't just sell be a battery. In 5 minutes times they tested 2 or 3 things about my electrical system. Second time (different car) they quickly told me the battery was fine and the issue was elsewhere. Trust!

I have been a Central Battery customer since I had my first car in 1995 and always will be a loyal customer! I once bought a battery from John and later I cracked the top of the battery working on my car after just buying the battery. So I took it back thinking I was going to pay for another battery... they helped a poor teen out. I will always appreciate this business! From cars to my ATV, Lawnmowers... Central Battery stickers are under them all!

Great service so far. Brought in a used battery to switch out with another used one for a customer n they didnt have a used one like it... But the employee said he'd charge it up n test it. Good people.

Really great service. I appreciate that they do the right thing without even having to ask. There is no reason why you should buy batteries anywhere else.
