We are so grateful to Bob and his amazing team!!! We were on a family vacation very far from home when we suffered a flat tire on our travel trailer. We called Bob's Wheel Alignment and they took us right in late in the afternoon on July 3rd! They discovered our leaf spring snapped. Bob drove 30 miles there and back to get the part we needed and back on our way! Amazing service and amazing kindness and a very fair price!!!

Our business has used Bob s Wheel Alignment for our vehicles for a long time and has always been thrilled with the service we receive. We rely heavily on our vehicles for our work and a break down can really throw a huge amount of stress to the season. Bob s is always quick to get us back on the road and we can always trust them not to gouge us on the price. Definitely customers for life.

So popular there's a long wait, it seems to be worth it. After the first alignment it pulled to the left, so I brought it back and they made it perfect. I couldn't get an inspection sticker because they didn't see why I had a light problem. I had to wait another month to bring it back, and then it took 2 days for them to replace one bulb and give me a sticker but it was only $21.So, super slow but quality work and affordable. Definitely recommend for an alignment, even though I had to go back.

Staff and service are great. Waiting room is good and my alignment was spot on. Would give 5 stars but the parking is tricky. I had to double park three vehicles due to a lack of available parking on property, but it is worth working through for the great service!

Despite their name they are a complete car service repair shop. Been using them for ten years. They have always been thorough, friendly and considerate. The quality of care and workmanship has been excellent!The only complaint is that they are so successful that you often need to make an appointment two weeks out, but the wait is worth it.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes

Scott really helped me out with a nail in my tire issue. They swapped out my winter tire for my summer tires and aligned. Great service done quickly and with professionalism. I highly recommend Bob s for any wheel/tire needs for your car or truck.

I have been using Bobs for awhile but today really sent it over the top. I was told by another service that it would take too long to run a diagnostic on my truck for the check engine light and they wouldn't be able to get me in for over 2 weeks!!! I explained my situation to Todd and he was more than willing to have me come in and do the test AND it was done in a very very timely manner. I appreciate it so much because I know they are always busy and are constantly rushed by people. It means a lot to us that given our situation, he was willing to work us in. Excellent service.

I walked into Bob s Wheel Alignment at 8am on a Monday morning and did not have an appointment. The lady at the front desk was nice but let me know that they were all booked for the week and probably couldn t fit me in. But at 10am, I received a call, they had seen my car and gave me an estimate. At 12pm, I received a second call saying that had finished and I could come pick it up right then.This is the best service I have ever received at a car repair shop. I will be making an appointment for the future and taking my car to Bob s Wheel Alignment for as long as I am in the Charlottesville area!I have nothing but positive thoughts about Bob s Wheel Alignment and staff there. Very professional, courteous and accommodating. I had to wait as I couldn't find anyone to pick me up and take me back. They got to my car in a very timely manner. Very good explanation of what they did and suggested things to help in the future.

I am from out of town and my alternator went bad. I had 2 days to have it fixed before I needed to leave on the next leg of my trip and it is almost Christmas! These folks got it fixed in 1 day and were not only very nice but reasonably priced. The cost of the job was less here than the price of the part at other repair shops! It runs beautifully.Thank you all and Merry Christmas!

Had to get my car towed there. Wasn't too excited because I knew nothing about them. They, however, have turned any suspicions I had of them being "sub-par" into the wind! Ricky has been on the ball keeping me informed of what I thought was wrong with my car versus what was actually wrong with it. He and Todd also went above and beyond to get me the best prices for what was needed to repair my car. Will go back 100% for all services they provide!Ps. The ladies at the front desk are phenomenal as well!

So touched that Scott was able to examine my tire this morning on virtually no notice reception was kind to put me in touch with him right away. He alleviated my fears that the tire was in need of immediate repair, explained the situation well and what to look for, and did all of this without expectation of payment. That s a way to guarantee a customer comes back for service! Thanks, Bob s staff. Much appreciate your help today.

I needed to switch low-profile performance tires from stock wheels to new aluminum rims. Every shop I tried either could not handle the performance rims and tires, or wouldn't do it unless I bought tires from them - Ridic! I reached out to Bob's and received great service. I worked with Scott. He was easy to talk to, understood the job and got it done. I'm very happy with my experience and will be sure to prioritize consideration of Bob's for all future work. Brought our new RV here to get several things done-wanted a nicer ride so upgraded shocks and a sway bar. But also needed some out of the box work done on our battery compartment so we could upgrade our batteries. These people are great. All the work was done and done well. I was so confident in the outcome and rightly so. The work was outstanding. Thank you Bob, Ricky and the really nice young man who worked on our batteries.

This week was only the second time I've had my 2012 Ford at Bob's and the first time for something that could get pricey.I had my car towed there early after this past Monday after the front right brake caliber became disconnected causing my car not to go forward which must've happened as a result of something not being tightened enough when a family member did a brake job for me.Anyway, my father called Bob's to let them know my vehicle was being towed there. I did not have an appointment and I know they stay pretty booked so I was not expecting my car to be fixed and ready that day or even the next. Honestly I was expecting maybe Thursday at the soonest. I got a call on TUESDAY from Todd with an explanation of what happened (which the tow truck figured out but Todd went into more detail) and what was left to be done because I decided since it was already there to go ahead and get an alignment and inspection done. When I asked how much I was looking at Todd said about $300 but when one of the ladies called to tell me my car was done and my total it only came to $258 and change. Thank you to the mechanics who worked on my car and got it completed sooner than I expected!The previous time I had my car here was June 2018 for a front left wheel bearing that Univ. Tire and Auto told me I needed almost a year prior and could not do an alignment on the new tires back then. Ricky told me I did not need that repair but actually needed two tires for the back and he could try to match them. When I told him my plans for trying to match an extra tire that came with my vehicle when I purchased it he was totally fine with it and DID NOT try to do a hard sell on their tires like some places might. He accepted my decision and that was the end of that conversation. This is what first made me trust Bob's and realize how honest these guys are!

These people are amazing. My first ever review written on Yelp, but I just came from Bob's, and I was so impressed I want to let everyone know. I had a small issue, and took it to another shop for a quick fix. They said I'm at the back of a long line, and to go see the front office, they can get me in whenever they are less busy. I called Bob's, and they said they would take a look right away, since it was small. I checked in, and the service manager got one of his guys right away. While I was waiting a brief while, Bob himself came out to greet me; he didn't know me from Adam, but you can tell he's the kind of guy who takes care of his customers. The service tech fixed my issue in about 5 minutes, was very polite, kind and knowledgeable, and the manager told me no charge, Merry Christmas. Best mechanics on the planet.

My husband and I found Bob's Wheel and Alignment several months ago when we were having difficulty finding the proper tires and wheels for our 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder, which had recently been restored. My husband is a mechanical engineer and knows a LOT about cars. We'd had little success or satisfaction at two other tire and wheel dealers, so we didn't have very high hopes here either. Were we ever pleasantly surprised! Not only did they find the correct tires and wheels for us, but their mechanical knowledge and service were stellar. My husband now says he would not go anywhere else in Charlottesville for tires or anything related to wheels on a car. In addition, Bob's does Virginia State Inspections and will actually make an appointment to do that service, which is RARE. We just had that completed on our other car and we were in and out in about 20 minutes. Our experience here has been great and we highly recommend it to others in our area.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I was out of town and had a sudden noise when accelerated that was concerning having driven threw some rough ground and looking at a 4+ hour highway drive. They were recommended and, when I called, they said they would look. 2 hours and $60 to flatten a bent piece of metal and I was on my way. Accommodating, honest, saved the day!

Bob's is thorough and doesn't break the bank. I have had mostly good experiences from using them for my car repairs, and certainly have nothing bad to say about the mechanics. They are not often available for same day or next day drop off since they are very popular in the area, and I have been told "we can schedule you next week" multiple times on the phone. The front desk workers have been grumpy and unhelpful to my questions about 50% of the time, but all in all a mechanic shop I would recommend.

Not very professional. Especially the lady at the front desk. I would rather go to the dealership and pay the extra for better service. Had no problem paying $55 for no apparent rereason. Won't be using them for our company fleet anymore.

Service was fine, but I walked away thinking these guys were pretty shady. Had a "free" oil change I won in a charity auction that was capped at $45. Came to check out and had to pay another $12. $57 standard oil change? Got charged for extras like washer fluid without providing consent. Sketchy.
