I would highly recommend B&W Auto Body. Someone backed into my vehicle, crushed the left fender and broke the headlight. B&W made it look like better than before I got hit! Their prices are excellent, the turn around was fast, and Charlie and the rest of the team were very professional and friendly. They are great at what they do, don't worry about looking anywhere else!

Was referred here by an auto mechanic who recommend B & W for their excellent work and also Honda certified. My CRV looks as good as the day I bought it! B&W is an amazing shop. I have had to get body work done on the same vehicle twice in the past two years and they have done an amazing job both times. They are super friendly and easy to work with! They are very communicative, giving frequent updates on the status of your vehicle so you know exactly what you re dealing with. I mThis is a fantastic and very trustworthy business. Had an amazing experience with B&W. Had a minor scrape on my vehicle. Sent pics and stopped by the shop to have it looked at. Very professional and kind--efficient work and had me in and out within 30 minutes. Grateful for the experience and would recommend this shop for anyone needing repair. My hats off to Charlie and his team at B&W Auto Body. For the first time ever in my life I had a truly fantastic experience with a auto body shop. Charlie was awesome from the beginning to the end. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and kept us up to date through the entire process. He also made us feel more like family then customers. From this point forward my family will never use anybody else for repairs. We will be lifelong customers. I would recommend Charlie and his team to anyone needing work done. Such a pleasure to work with the guys here! Finding a place to get car repairs after an accident is so stressful, especially when working with insurance. I recently had the pleasure of getting my car repaired at B&W. What an incredible experience! I can't say enough wonderful things about the service from owner Charlie and all the staff there, especially Randy in the front office. They were the absolute best to deal with, worked so meticulously to make sure the repairs I needed were absolutely perfect - my car looks better than when it went into the shop! I cannot recommend them highly enough, this should be your only choice if you need a body shop in the Charlottesville area!!!

Charlie and everyone at B&W are fantastic! The work is always top notch. They also go up and beyond to make my vehicle look great, car washed and touch of paint or buffing on other scratches I may have.What I appreciate the most is the customer service. There have been server all times my car have been in an accident (no judgment please!) and B&W helped me understand how insurance policies work and how to advocate for myself during an active claim.I highly recommend B&W for anyone who needed work on their car.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had a fantastic experience! As a young woman I am often wary of being taken advantage of when it comes to getting work done on my car. But I never once felt that way at B&W. Charlie was friendly and helpful and the customer service I received from everyone there was phenomenal. They fit me in as soon as I called, started working on my car as soon as I got there, and were finished in less than the estimated time. I was getting my bumper repaired but in addition they fixed my damaged side mirror and a turn signal that wasn't working correctly- for no additional charge! Truly a trustworthy family owned and operated business. I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this shop. Professional and courteous owner and staff. Customer service is tops. They inspected and prepared an insurance supplement for my fire claim that facilitated a more fair payout when my vehicle was totaled. They even went above and beyond ensuring all was taken care of while I was out of town. In the end, they did not perform any repairs, but they helped make a bad situation as good as it could have been. Again, I highly recommend this shop.Service: Body & Trim

B&W is the best and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. I had a terrible week and to top it all off, I damaged the passenger side of my car. I needed my car fixed asap to get to work and I was frustrated after calling (no exaggeration) six places to try to get them to fix my car in a reasonable time frame. Charlie was the only one in Charlottesville that was able to commit to fixing it within the week. Not only was he professional, kind, and caring, but he was trustworthy and I felt like I could unload the stress of my damaged car because I knew I was in good hands. B&W worked efficiently AND they did a great job; my car looks PHENOMENAL...I can't even tell that it was damaged. In a nutshell, great service, efficient workers, extremely honest, and just pure, good people. If you need your car fixed, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't go to Charlie!

I drive a 1990 VW Westfalia that is my baby, and I'm skeptical about who I let work on the body of my car. A good friend recommended that I go to B&W for some cosmetic work I wanted done. I seriously could not be more satisfied with the work they did. The entire experience from start to finish went well. Charlie and his team are cool, kind, fair, knowledgeable, and skilled. I've actually sent my own mother to have some work done on her car at this place too. Highly recommend B&W. Sincere thanks, guys. See you again soon.

Wow! No fear everyone, there are still kind, trustworthy body shops out there! After my experience at B&W, I will not go anywhere else from now on. I dented my car door pretty bad by accident and wanted to get it fixed asap so my beloved car could look good again. Thankfully, I was referred to B&W. I went there for an estimate and Charlie explained to me all the ways my door could be fixed and gave me options. He also had before and after pictures of similar repairs so I could get a visual which was nice. I told him what I wanted and he gave me a more than reasonable price compared to what I was given by other body shops/mobile vendors in town. When I came to pick my car up, I was in awe. It looked perfect, like nothing happened... Also, I noticed my car was looking a bit more shiny and cleaner than before. When I got in it to home, what do you know, they vacuumed my car out and made it all fresh. They even cleaned the dog slobber off my windows! Thank you B&W! I know I am rambling but I'm so impressed. You can tell people trust them not only by the good reviews but the customers that came in while I was there who they knew by name and who had obviously been there before. These guys care about their work, are honest, and kind. Go there and support this family owned, local business. I am certain you will not be disappointed. Thanks again B&W.

I can t say enough good things about Charlie and his team. I had a slight imperfection from a job his team did over a year ago. Charlie realized the problem, diagnosed it, and repainted the entire bumper for free. I did not expect that! He has always been supremely professional, good hearted, and ethically minded. I offered to pay him something for the work done, and he would not accept it. Such integrity for these modern times! Take your car to B&W- you will not regret it! - Steve

This is by far the best auto body shop in Charlottesville, maybe even Virginia (or the world!)! We have been to B&W an embarrassing amount of times (don't ask) but every time one of our cars has been damaged, Charlie and the workers outdo themselves. Charlie refuses to let a car leave his shop in anything less then perfect condition of repair. He will go to bat for you with insurance companies and will keep the car until it is done right. If you trust him and his team, your car will come back looking better then before it got damaged. Love love LOVE Charlie and the team at B&W and will come back anytime and keep recommending them to everyone! It is so nice to work with such an amazing family owned and operated business. These are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and have the pleasure of doing business with. Thank you!!

Trustworthy place - Excellent customer service. Involved in a bad accident and needed help right away. Greeted when I walked in the door by the owner (Charlie) and his wife(Tammi). They patiently walked me through my estimate - not pushy, lots of information, lots of experience - I could tell they genuinely cared about me as a customer. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and were completely straight-forward. The car came out looking EXCEPTIONAL. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, and the workmanship was absolutely top-notch. My first visit turned me into a life-long customer. Thanks B&W!!!

B&W Auto Body has fixed several cars for me over the years. The owner Charlie is super knowledgeable about all aspects of collision repair. They are also on the leading edge of technology, for as we all know vehicles are more computer than machine these, and they have the tools and the skill to fix any car. (I even saw a Tesla sitting in the repair bay last time I visited).If you are in a need of getting a car repaired due to an accident, be it a small fender bender or a large multi-car collision, I would definitely recommend B&W Auto Body. Every time I have visited I have been treated like family and they go out of their way to make sure the customer is completely satisfied.I noticed after one time I had some work done, a very small repair getting a small dent and scratch touched up, they had even cleaned the car inside and out. I cannot stress enough how pleased I was with the service I received for every car I've had worked on here.Please, if you need a vehicle repaired you should take it to B&W Auto Body!

Charlie and his crew were wonderful. He replaced my front bumper for less than I was quoted elsewhere and was able to save me money by salvaging my headlight instead of replacing it. He also paid for me to rent a car, because my insurance didn't cover it and his loaner car (which he lets customers use free of charge) was already being used. Once they ordered the parts they needed, they got it all done quickly. He was respectful of the timeframe I said I needed him to abide by. The only aspect that was less than perfect is that the paint they used isn't an exact match for my car, but it was close enough. For the price, I didn't complain. Overall, it was a great experience.

I don't have enough good things to say about the whole crew over at B&W. I had minor damage on a 2018 camry that came out looking brand new. 2 months later someone totaled my 2003 4runner. The guys here not only kept me in the loop while the insurance company was impossible to deal with but they gave me endless advice on how to deal with and get more money from the insurance company. B&W's customer service exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone.

They are INCREDIBLE! I was in between them and another auto body repair shop, and I'm extremely happy that I chose B&W auto body repair shop! First of all, Charlie was amazing because he explained in detail how they were going to repair my car. This gave me a lot of confidence to leave my car with them. They were also very conscious and nice to repair my car on time. I had to drive home a week after I had time to drop off my car and they made sure that I would have my car, like new, before I had to drive home.In more detail, my car had a big dent in the right back side of my car (before the bumper), caused from someone backing up and crashing into my car. The damage was pretty awful but they made it look perfectly new. It looks as if nothing happened to my car. No small imperfections and the color matches!!I highly recommend them!

This is hands down the best auto shop I have ever been to! Everyone that works here is knowledgeable and helpful. My car was totaled in an accident that wasn't my fault and Charlie went above and beyond to help me get straightened out. He talked me through what I needed to do insurance wise, and answered all of my questions.You won't find anywhere else with the quality of service and friendliness that you do at B&W.

Charlie gave me a price that was over 30% less than the next closest shop (one shop said the work I wanted done was impossible). They completed the work in 3 days. Car looks like new. Even did a little additional work at no charge. I'd definitely go to B & W the next time I need body work.

Dealing with B&W Auto Body was a true joy...from the front desk speaking to Cody...down to the detailed & informative conversations with Charlie, the owner. Hands down a fantastic group of individuals that are extremely patient, honest & fair priced!!! Thank you so much for helping me with my son's accident & dealing with the insurance company!! Charlie at B & W was absolutely amazing to work with. He goes out of his way to assist his customers. Our daughter's vehicle was totaled in an accident. Finding a good auto body shop from out of town can be a challenge. Charlie offered to tow her vehicle; worked with the adjuster and appraiser on our behalf and even defended us from the other driver's unscrupulous carrier we had to deal with. He always had time to talk with us; gave suggestions for dealing with the carrier and managed the salvage process for us after the car was totaled. We are so thankful we found B&W. Would recommend Charlie and B&W to anyone.

Took my car here to have my windshield replaced. I'm very happy I found this place. They did an excellent job for a very reasonable price, and they even washed my car before returning it to me! They let you know they appreciate your business. This is a place you can trust, and they treat you like family. Highly recommended!

Charlie and his team are wonderful. I never want anything to happen to my car again, but if it does, I'll definitely be coming back here. Charlie treats you like family and he gives the best hugs AND the best mugs! They made a bad experience (wind damage from the storm) into a great one!

Perfection! Be prepared for friendly excellent customer service. Attention to detail makes this a must for luxury cars. Takes a while for repairs but expect quality work worth the wait. What an honest business, it's like having a friend that you can trust. I would never take my car anywhere else for body repairs.

I first encountered B&W auto repair when our daughter had a significant fender bender that required towing. Unsure of where to have it taken, I asked the driver for his recommendation. His instant reply was B&W Auto Body. Completely unaware of this business, I further questioned him on the reliability of his suggestion. He just looked at me and patiently, as if tolerating a hypoxic child, replied, They are the best . Still feeling as if I was blindly trusting the unknown, I consulted the power of Internet and was instantly mollified by over fifty rave reviews. The owner and proprietor, Charlie, was immediately accessible and took the time to work up several different repair scenarios. Still unsure of what to do, my wife and I actually went to see him about the fate of our almost valueless car and from our meeting, we both realized that here is a man who love his work, his family and really life itself.It is apparent in his every word. His life story alone is quite amazing and we marveled at the peace this man harbors and exudes. It was then clear that we would want him to repair our car, any car, for as long as we are vehicle owners. If I needed a total knee replacement, I would have him do that as well. Ok so jump ahead to our picking up said car. It looks better than when we first got it. This is truth. His repair tech clearly shares Charlie s concern for a job well done and we are thrilled. Then there is the matter of paying for it. His price was also indicative of a man who is concerned with quality work and not so much the bottom line. It was nothing short of miraculous to drive our greatly improved Camry off his lot without selling my dog and children at a flea Market.
