I bought a 05 nissan 4.0l v6 installed engine running good but won't cool down bleeding it 4 times now still running a little bit warmer than I expected swollen hoses (symptoms of head gasket or head issues) don't know started taking it back out. Call lacys was told if I take engine out I void the warranty ??? Now I need the vehicle back in service! Now what?.Update got a call from Christan in Tech development, ask questions about my issues with engine then he got upset when I asked whom was going to foot the bill with all these extra tests to run on engine before they decide to honor warranty? Later on that afternoon Greg from Lacy's office (Charles city ) called (wasn't very helpful) but at lease he didn't get upset and hung up on me? At this point all I want now is a refund and I'll take my money elsewhere.

I wouldn t buy anything from them. We bought an engine and they originally sent the wrong one. They also didn t charge us correctly. It took them almost two months to get the correct engine to the mechanic. After paying over $7,000 for the engine and the labor, that engine broke in less than two months. They refused to do anything about it.

I bought a used engine from them to replace my worn out one and 10,000 miles later the engine they sold me is still running good. They even held onto it while I was out of town. Easy buy online process and pickup. Great prices, honest business. You check in to the front and they ll bring it out to you. Friendly folks. I recommend doing business.

i bought a transmission from them for a 2014 ford escape i called them to make sure they had it before i drove 80 miles to go get it and they said they still had 2k with 116k miles so i went there and they told me i pay half of it and the rest the next day when i come to pick it up, later in the day i get a call from them saying they sold it so i ask for my money back and they hang up, next day i call them and they say they still have it, and they say that the transmission has 190k miles so i say what ever just send the money back in a check, and they do so but spell the name completely wrong. so i call them the day i received it and i m getting the run around and they keep connecting the call to some one else and i have to explain everything all over again (they did this for at least 4 times) so one of them says that they sent a new check and it s been about 10 days and i still haven t got nothing

Bought and engine for $2800 just for my mechanic to tell me engine was bad now I have to pay labor 2x even though I have premium warranty has been over 3 months I've been dealing with claim and I still don't have the car running and all I was told by staff is that's the risk to take when buying used parts. would not recommend please take your money elsewhere

I usually don't leave bad reviews but was Referred by a company of theirs. Called for a part and had no effort in helping or anything. Wouldn't look the part number up or anything to see if they had it. The truck is still on their website but says truck has been gone for months. Treats you like a complete idiot. Wouldn't recommend.

I ordered a specific radio for a 2014 Ford Explorer. I tried other yards in Va. I talked to Jessica at Lacy and she put in the work and found a very hard to locate Sony touchscreen radio for me. I ordered a unit from Action and they sent a four inch screen after I sent a picture. But Jessica and Lacy came through thanks again!

Picked up a transmission for my son...had no issues in the pickup.... only after several minutes they were very prompt in loading up.

Purchased my 09 Honda Accord v6 engine here, 62k thousand miles for $850 + $100 core + $200 shipping to CT. I almost thought it was too good to be true seeing how other engines online were $1000+ for a 100k miles.Lacy customer support technician Antonio was amazing and even helped me get the price down to $910 total without a core charge (I recently had my engine replaced by my dealership who messed up).

The parts were exactly what they stated they was when I got there to pick them up. They had everything ready to go when I got there and they offer excellent warranties on their parts.

Called and paid for a part to pickup. Waited a week for it to be pulled. Drive an hour to pick up and it's not the part that was listed. Left with nothing. Received phone call shortly after to inform that they actually didn't have the part and I'd receive my money back sometime in the next week. Only give them 3 stars instead of 1 because the front desk lady was nice and helpful.

The process was fast and easy. They notified me when the engine was ready for pickup. The lady at the front desk was very nice as well was the employees that loaded my engine on my trailer. It was great doing business with lacy auto parts

Call for a part, paid for part, drove 1 hour to pick up part, they dont have the part in fact the engine isnt even in the car. And now you want me to wait 5-7 days to get my money back.

They had the door for my Ram 2500 that was an exact match and what I was looking for. I went in and spoke to TayTay (I forgot her name) and in less than 10 minutes my part was pulled. I was allowed to take measurements and look at the door before I purchased it to make sure it would fit on my truck. A second lady helped me load it in my truck. Super friendly staff, everyone was so helpful, and the new door on my truck looks amazing! A+ for this place. I will definitely be back for all my auto part needs!

Needed a new engine for my Buick Regal 2011 because GM seemed to make an engine that enjoys rampant oil burning....Paid Lacy Auto and sent me an engine that gave my car new life. They also offer some pretty awesome warranties for not much more to future proof your purchase. I highly recommend them. In this area, reliable service and quality is priceless for peace of mind

Exceptional Customer service. Got my transmission from them for Toyota sienna. They dont make parts there but integrity and customer service is what matters.___________________Great customer service is peace of mind indeed!!Update.. Went there two years later for another transmission. Repeat! Again great customer service. I would go to you first even if I have to drive for an hour and half one way. Thanks guys.

I was shopping for a rare engine and I'm located down here in Texas. They were real honest about their inventory and what they had and the condition of it. And I say that because originally the engine listed with only 7000 miles and I went ahead and initiated purchasing process. However it was found out that the engine really had 145000 miles on it and Billy was real helpful and honest and went ahead and told me the truth. I feel that that is very respectable. Although I did not buy from them. I would recommend anyone to speak with Billy over there because he'll shoot you straight. I would never give a good review if it wasn't true. I just would hope that I can help somebody else get the parts they need without getting ripped off also the staff is very professional polite.

Usually I love Lacy's. Although you are going to spend a bit more than a pull it yourself place, parts are guaranteed/warrantied. However my most recent purchase (steering column), I needed the keys, which I had made sure were part of my order request. When I went to pick up the part there are no keys (now i have to pay a locksmith to program the part) and although the lady at the office tried to locate the keys, the warehouse just said there are no keys in the vehicle. If this were the first time i had ever used Lacy's, I would be giving one , and although I have had several five transactions, this one means that i have a ton of extra work and money to put out before I can drive my Jeep again, along with getting these things done with a vehicle I can't use to drive to the places i need to get to (I also live where there are rarely Ubers).And this purchase was also missing the transponder I very much need. Unfortunately, the other one that had been available when I ordered had sold already. On the plus side returning was simple and easy, i got refunded the full price back to my card. Unfortunately, back to trying to find what I need without spending dealership price (looking like I'm going to have to go that route).

It was the worst experience ever nobody cares about peoples time. I have to drive 1 hrs and still can't pick up my part because of a forklift is not available to bring my part.

Terrible customer service. I called for an auto part, they said they had it. I then drove over 100 miles to get it only to be told they didn t know where the part was. Don t waste your time and money , and gas with these people. Not worth the time.

Inventory not kept up to date. Website is built by a 3rd grader. Customer service was horrible. They kept accusing me of lying and ultimately ignored me completely. I will never do service with them again

excellent service and parts! I have been purchasing from them for years and not once have they been impolite in any way. Take other reviews with a grain of salt. Ask for Antonio he is fantastic and goes out of his way to help.

Not as customer friendly as one would expect. Except the woman who was pregnant was on a smoke break and opened the door for my friend and then blocked the entrance way, where he needed to brush up against her to get by. Then she offered to walk him over to the person who could help him, he turned down her assistance and she walked him over anyway. Her behavior was so obvious I was shocked how she blatantly handled herself around customers.The person my friend had to see basically told him they could not, nor would they try to work with him. Since all the men were in the field, there was no one else to assist my friend. I, personally will NOT return to this location.

Purchased a used Transmission for project car. Was shipped quickly from VA to NJ. Delivery was scheduled via text and phone call. Was pleasantly surprised to see all the sensors and brackets still installed. the axle plugs were covered with plastic inserts and it was wrapped in plastic to keep out any debris. Thank you, and you'll on the 1st to call/check list now.

I need an ABS Pump with module (complete unit). All parts stores didn't have it and the dealership wanted $2000 bucks for the crazy thing. Went to Ebay, they didn't have it. I was told to call Lacys and asked if they had it and she said yes they do. I paid 260 bucks for it with the 3 year warranty. I also might mention that the girl that answered the phone was very kind and courteous. Thank you Lacys!!

Can't beat the prices, and the employees are quite friendly. However, if you pay for a part over the phone, give them an exact time next day that you plan to pick it up so they'll have it ready.

They sold me a bad engine that they new was bad, and want me to repay to get the one they sold me taking out and pay for another engine from somebody else to get put in, not to mention 2 separate mechanics in 2 different states told me engine was bad, and had to pay extra money for hotel room plus shop for 2 day plus got it towed 3 times now they domt even want to pick engine up from shop they trying to get me to spend more money to tow engine back to my home! I would never recommend these type of people that care about themselves, I have 5 children, I do not get government assistance, and now don't know how I'm going to get my children there school supplies clothes and shoes once school start back because they already taken almost 4000.00 of my hard earned money and trying to take more! Only God and a judge can handle these type of people!
