This shop are trying to rip me off. They don t wanna fix my tire but instead trying to upsell me to new tires. Good job, try harder next time. You think all customers are stupid and will just say YES to whatever you wanna upsell. Also. Please clean your bathrooms they smells.

Let me start by saying this, do not take your car to this place, If you care about your car.As you can see in the picture they chiped the rims while they were repairing a puncture in the tire. After discussing it with the assistance manager they offered to have the company wheelsonsite to fix it. When they showed up their method of fixing was just to spray pain the chip on a power coated rims.Keep in mind this was a brand new car.

I have been to several locations of Virginia Tire & Auto and all have provided a great experience. They provide the services in a timely fashion, are very informative, have exceptional customer service, and make their prices known prior to getting serviced. The Chantilly location went out of their way after hours to offer to charge my battery for me and make an appointment to get me in the next day. Sebastian was so helpful and kind during the whole process.

Went for state inspection and tire rotation. Decent customer service and quick turn around. Might be little disappointed because asked them to show me tire rotation inspection report, but they completed the work without showing the report which was not really required at that point. It s all depends what you need to get done.

very disappoint on the vehicle inspection result, tech indicated that there was a nail in the tire, i took the car back to Costco where I purchased the tire for warranty repair, result, was no air leak and the nail was not even punch inside the tire but caught in the tire track. Tire repair quote from Virginia tire was $1281.23 which was unnecessary.

I recently had a concerning experience with Chantilly Tire and Auto. They insisted I had a nail in my tires, urging me to replace them at a hefty cost. Skeptical, I sought a second opinion from another mechanic who found no nail or any other issues that Virginia Tire and Auto had claimed. It's disconcerting that they never attempted to show me the alleged nail, raising questions about their transparency and honesty in their service. This discrepancy in diagnoses highlights the importance of seeking multiple opinions before committing to costly repairs.

On my way to the airport, my car was pulling sharply to the left, and the steering wheel was shaking. I called Virginia Tire & Auto and asked to leave the car there overnight while we took our trip. They will find the problem, fix it, and we'll pick the car up tomorrow. They even provided a free LYFT to the airport!

Orlando (manager) and Mohammed (technician) went above and beyond to make sure my experience with the service here was excellent. ( Service: oil change, air filter change and bulb replacement). He and his team deserves the 5 stars.

Zero stars was unfortunately not possible. I bought a low mileage used Chevrolet Cruze from a dealer that had done a complete inspection before I purchased it. I took it here for an emissions inspection for the tags. It was running perfectly when I took it in; the check engine light was not on. Virginia Tire said it failed because a P1101 code was thrown and the check engine light was on. I asked what the P1101 code meant? They said they did not know as it was a manufacturer specific code and they would need to do a $175 diagnostics check, plus the cost to repair. I told them the P1101 code was the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor was not resetting at start-up (it's a common code used throughout the auto industry). They were surprised I knew.I drove it home, lifted the hood and found they had removed the screws from the air cleaner housing. It's a sealed system, but now it was leaking and throwing the MAF code. It's an old scam. They would have charged me hundreds of dollars to "fix" the problem and all they would have done is put the three screws back in. I screwed the housing back together, cleared the code with my OBDII scanner and drove it for a week. It was fine and never threw another code. Took it to a legitimate shop who checked it out and passed it during a second inspection. Cost me another $28 for the second inspection instead of hundreds Virginia Tire would have charged me.Shops don't make money doing the $28 state inspections and only make money if they fix something. Legitimate shops don't care as they do quality work that brings customers back in. Rip off shops sabotage your car during an inspection and make money by charging you to fix things that are not broken. Buyer beware!Update: Owner has replied saying a loose air filter wouldn't cause the code. They need to go back to school, or at least try to fool someone else. A loose air filter housing changes the air flow through the intake. The Mass Air Flow sensor detects the deviation, triggering the code and the check engine light. A very dirty air filter will do it too (not a problem here). This is basic emissions 101. It's also a common scam. Besides, I replaced the screws, drove it for a week, and no codes. A real repair shop checked it out and said nothing was wrong. Still driving great and no codes two weeks later.

I had a nail in my tire Friday after work and the shop stayed open just for me to fix my tire. These men are amazing and so friendly! Very professional and kind. I will come here for my car needs from now on. Great work!

I went to Chantilly Tire and Auto for an oil change and inspection in March. I had called prior and had an appointment but they did not tell me that the appointment was only for the oil change and it was first come first serve for the inspection. I waited over an hour and half nearby while they were doing the oil change when I received a call saying if I could wait a little longer they would also be able to squeeze me in for the inspection. I thanked them and agreed. After over two hours I got my car and paid for service in full. Later I realized they had not changed the oil change sticker reminder on my window. I chalked it up to them forgetting and being busy. Less then two months later my oil light is now going off. I checked my oil and it is dirty. They did not do the oil change which I paid for and now I also have concerns about my inspection being done properly.I spoke with Orlando who contacted the GM. He told me the GM refused to refund me. My only option was to trust them with my car again or take a voucher to another location. This company touts themselves as being a "woman owned business" and in a profession that has a history of taking advantage of women I'm very disappointed that they have not made things right. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

If you bring your car here be ready to double-check any claims of service needed or work performed, it's either a dishonest or incompetent shop (or some combination) now.Took my wife's car here about a year ago, and they recommended a new engine air filter which was curious seeing that I had just replaced it myself a few weeks prior. We brushed this off as maybe a newbie mistake (we had been here a few times before without issues), and brought it back for an oil change and inspection. The oil change was either not performed or performed incorrectly, as a vehicle warning came on a month later saying an oil change was required. The interior mileage sticker was not updated, and I pulled the dipstick and found that the oil looked visibly more dirty than it should be after only a month of routine use.Took the car to another reputable shop nearby and they did it right. Called the GM who refused to issue a refund and offered only to let his guys try again after botching a simple oil change. This was the final straw, we won't be back. There are other reputable shops in the same area to trust with your vehicle.

Did wheel balance due to a highway speed vibration. Technician found that there was a liquid inside of one the tires swooshing and throwing off balance which is caused by liquid tire leak sealer that I put in while ago. Not only they clean out the sealer but, also cleaned\sanded wheel lip rust that caused the air leak in the first place at no extra charge. They were courteous and professional and I would take my car back in future.

Plenty of parking and great staff. Explained the quote and options and wait times. Even mentioned for high end tires, they will price match. Trustworthy staff. For a Friday afternoon, i did not see except one person waiting for his car to be completed which is a good sign.

2023 UPDATE1) My brakes came off while driving on a highway... I'm so dumb for even going back to this place(I replaced my brakes/rotators/tires with them Jan 2022 and they came off a few months later because the tech HAND TIGHTENED THE SCREWS.....)2) Every time I go in for an oil change and tire rotation I have to come back and get them to reset the tire pressure thingy.3) Moving to Colorado I had them check my car to make sure things were okay because I felt like brakes were being weird... (I replaced it with them Jan 2022), I had my car shipped to Colorado and the traffic here sucks...so I really noticed how awful my brakes were...my boyfriend got them check out..and the rotators and brakes were awful and needed to be replaced... literally a month after I got it checked out by them...and they said they were good...4) The ONLY good thing about this place is Orlando. The man deserves a raise AND a promotion. He was the only reason why I kept coming back..I use to go to their Broadlands location(always a great experience there) since I worked next door to it. But Orlando was beyond nice and always looked for ways to help you save n give you an honest answer. He does everything he can to help you out and is honest with you! He doesn t disappear on you like some of the people who work there do... you literally see them disappear on you. It got to the point where I'd come in with an attitude and only wanna deal with Orlando cause everyone else is practically useless.

I bought tires and safety inspection from the chantilly store. Scheduled in advance, paid a 200 deposit, arrived on time yet they did half the work and asked me to bring the car back. I told them I will not be back. The whole point of selecting their shop was they could do both jobs. They offered no compensation for failing to perform the work. I will not return.

My wife was here last week. She had a nail in her tire. They were so kind and lifted the tire out of the trunk. They pulled out the nail and cleaned and inspected the spot. Then they put the tire back into the trunk and charged my wife nothing! They told her the damage was so minor that they refused to charge her. At least I would like to give you an excellent google rating because you also refused my wifes tip!

Came in for tire service this morning after calling-in and setting up an appointment just yesterday with the Chantilly location. The staff was very friendly and professional both over the phone and in person. I was a bit nervous having my '22 Model Y serviced for the first time, however both Hector and the manager were very reassuring in checking with the technician and having the special Tesla jack pucks (pads) required for lifting. Would definitely recommend Virginia Tire & Auto - very pleasant experience.

Went in for Inspections Test and Battery Replacement and received excellent service from the entire staff. Orlando and John were both extremely helpful and provided friendly customer service. I hadn't used my car in over 6 months and John was very considerate and spent a good amount of time cleaning all of the debris that had collected underneath the wiper blades of my car.I have been coming here for multiple years and have always left extremely satisfied. They are great at what they do and I highly recommend them for all of your car-related needs!

Will never come to this location again. The front desk person was rude and confrontational. He told me that they were short staffed and it would take about an hour and a half for an oil change, for which I made my appointment yesterday online and they called me this morning and asked me if I could come in earlier because of a scheduling mishap. I asked him for my keys back so I could go to another location and he basically told me that my car was already in the shop. I told him I wanted to go to another location, which I had called, and he proceeded to tell me that it would be done by the time that it would take me to drive to the other location because he lived by the location that I was going to go to. He then proceeded to tell me it was up to me in a not so nice tone. In the end, I ended up getting my car taken care of but will absolutely NEVER GO BACK to the Chantilly location.

Very good staff. They did a great job as usual. It took a very long time for my oil change and tire rotation despite my appointment. Fortunately, the area has lots of good cafes and restaurants. Even billiards.

I brought my car in for a tire repair, and they said it was unfixable. They tried to charge me $300 for a tire replacement, so I went to autozone and bought a kit for $10 and fixed it in 5 minutes

I definitely recommend VA Tire & Auto because of the manager, John Miller. John has been providing excellent customer services and taking great care of my car for years. John is very knowledgeable about resolving automotive issues and has resolved every car issue I had so far. He always goes above and beyond to make sure a challenging car issue is resolved. He takes pride of the work quality and sincerely cares about providing excellent customer services, which are the most valuable and hard to find traits in the service industry.I would also like to acknowledge that Orlando at the Chantilly location is also very friendly and helpful as well.

I typically go to South Riding, but they didn't have any appointments. Chantilly screwed up a simple oil change and I had to take my car back to South Riding twice.First, it turns out Chantilly installed my oil filter incorrectly and it caused the car to leak all over my driveway. Then, a month later, my check oil light came on because Chantilly didn't bother to reset it.If you have a choice, take your car to the South Riding location.

It was my first time having to come in for anything car related and they were incredibly nice to me. Orlando was the one to help me out and he was extremely nice; the reason I m giving 5 stars despite my small experience.
