A+++ service! I'm very impressed with the quality and price for an exhaust system repair done today on my Toyota. Mike was able to identify a couple of leaks in my exhaust system and get them repaired quickly and for a very fair price (lower than a quote I got from another shop). Full-time river car starting acting up called in the morning dropped the car off they diagnosed the problem. COil went bad they called did not try and upscale me agreed on it. Done the next morning at 9:00. Great job it was our only car. Chantilly Midas is top notch in repairs and customer service! We entrust all three of our cars (two Subaru Outbacks and one Chrysler PT Cruiser .. two have manual transmissions) to the crew at Chantilly Midas .. and they've been consistent in keeping them road-worthy and safe! Today's repairs included replacing a shifter linkage bushing, replacing front end brake pads, and resurfacing all brake rotors. Communication was straightforward, price was fair, and turnaround time was quick! From oil changes, new tires, to brake pad replacements and even a complete transmission replacement. . their crew is knowledgable, thorough, and professional. Just bought new tires and I have to say it was a great experience. I was assisted quickly, given explanations about my service and treated like a valued consumer! I had the pleasure of doing business with Mike today. He was absolutely wonderful. Drove from Richmond to look at a car for my son and wanted to get it checked out prior to deciding to purchase or not. This shop was highly recommended and I understand why. He was kind enough to squeeze me in at the end of their work day. Thoroughly checked the vehicle. Took time to explain the findings, was professional, personable and seemed very trustworthy. Several customers came in while I was there to pick up their vehicles. All appeared to be regulars as they chatted with Mike and each left with a smile on their face. Not typical when getting work done on your car. I would highly recommend this Midas shop! Gave me great peace of mind to know that quality trustworthy mechanics checked out the vehicle!

Update: I had to go to the dealership for an issue (tow truck wasn't able to take me very far) and it reassured me this Midas is the ONLY place worth taking my car to. Midas Chantilly has honest and fair work ethics and practices. I recommend them to everyone.I have gone to this Midas for 3 years now and I refuse to go anywhere else (even having moved over an hour away.) They truly care and give great honest work, I have never once felt taken advantage of or over charged. They kept my last car running way longer than a car should have been able to, always worked with me on what I could afford at the time, and are always making sure I am doing what I need to to drive safely. I recommend this Midas to everyone I know. Midas Chantilly was recommended to me by a mechanic that used to work on my car (he is no longer in the area so I needed to find another mechanic I felt I could trust). I have used this shop several times over the last few years, and have found them to be professional, knowledgeable, good at what they do, and honest! Both Mike and Brian have been great! They do quality work and I never feel like they are trying to sell me on services I don't need. I highly recommend Midas Chantilly!.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mike, Brian, and their team are knowledgeable, honest, efficient, and give me peace of mind. I've been going for 5+ years since I was sick of having to battle with a local ford dealership. Got my husband hooked too, when they figured out an issue that stumped a dealership and were able to get it fixed for half the cost! Highly recommend them, and I very much appreciate their service!

$200 for them to just look at my car. And after they just looked at it, they told me the car needed $3,000.00 worth of work. After a break down of what they suggested, it was all unnecessary, overpriced guess work.I took my car somewhere else and they said it was fine, and passed my inspection. This place is a far cry from the reputable and trust worth auto repair shop they started as. They should be ashamed.**update**I sold that car recently, and it never, for the rest of the time I had it, needed ANY of the work they so adamantly said was necessary. Im not even joking no problem they assured me was going happen, happened.Such a shame.

Been taking my car here for a few years now (finally got sick of the gouging from car dealerships). I have mostly dealt with Brian and Mike who are both great. They give honest assessments and a good price. Highly recommend for anyone needing any type of service.

Outstanding team. Got a quote at the dealer to replace exhaust manifold that broke. $9,000.00. Also got a quote at a local mom and pop store in Chantilly $12,900. Last ditch effort took it to Midas exhaust and they were able to repair the manifold for under $800.00. So happy I decided to take it here for them to look at it. Will not go anywhere else now.PS Audi wanted to buy it back for $6,000.00. KBB is $12,000.00.

So, my car got hit by some teenager and his insurance made me take it to this place for repairs. The work was fine and got done in a reasonable amount of time, but that's not why I hate this place.I hate it, because this company sold my contact information to telemarketers without my consent.How do I know? The car I was driving was still owned and insured by my father at the time. So, Midas had his name and address on their records. But since I'm the one who drives the car, and we don't even live in the same city anymore, we gave Midas MY cell phone number to call.For context, I live in an apartment, and my dad owns a townhouse some thirty minutes away from me.Almost to the day that I got my car back, I started getting flooded with spam calls from telemarketers asking if they could buy "my" townhouse. The one on the street where my father lives.This never happened to me before I took my car there, and it is still happening to me over a year later, despite the fact that I have been on the National Do Not Call list since 2010.So, yeah, I guess they know how to fix a car. They also know how to get someone harassed by spam callers on a nearly daily basis for over a year. Screw. This. Company.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I appreciate that they are very good at providing full service auto repair and play with principles in reference to being honest with customers and the techs are very good as well. I strongly suggest that if you have automotive issues that you strongly consider this location for your automotive concerns

Initially, went a few times for a state inspection while I ate lunch next door, was surprised at the friendliness of their staff for a $14 inspection, they happily did it and had my car to me at the end of lunch. So, I decided to try them out on an older car I wanted to fix up a bit - brakes, alternator, wheel bearing. Again, they were straightforward, met their quote, met their timeline, and quite frankly, are just very pleasant to deal with. I give them 5 stars. Car is back up and running very well.

I am a girl in my 20s. This is the only place I've gone that didn't try to over charge me and could explain everything clearly if something was wrong with my car. They run incredibly on time. My oil changes are always done quickly. Everyone speaks English! I love Matt the most but the rest of the team is great also! Everyone is super friendly and even though I only visit a few times per year with oil changes and inspections they know me by name. Definitely has a family feel. Awesome customer service.

I had a great experience here! Mike was very helpful and he worked with me to find a solution for my car within my budget. He explained the options for the repair over the phone and also sent me a picture of the issue so I could better understand. I would definitely recommend them and will be back!

Yesterday, I sent in my Volvo XC60 for a rear axel break&rotor replacement. The bill was $850 (750 for the replacement and 100 for the brake flush) and I found it is a total ripoff. They charged $400 dollar for the parts which can be found at the retail price of $40 for the pads and $90 for the rotors at advanced auto part. Moreover, they charged $400 for the labor which seems totally unreasonable, it is very hard to justify this job takes 5 hours ($80 per hour) to finish.But other than the ridiculous price, I am totally satisfied with the service. Both Mike and Brian are great person to talk to, and the job is done in a timely fashion.Service: Brakes

I knew going in that the problem my car was having was going to be very difficult to diagnose. These guys continued trying to find the problem way after most places would give up. Very professional and great customer service! Just took my car in today because of a very noticeable squeaking noise while driving at lower speeds. I dropped the car off right around lunch time and was called with an hour which they had diagnosed the problem. The problem was an bent backing plate and they clearly explained that it was a very minor fix. It was ready very quickly and was able to pick it up shortly after work. All in all I was very pleased with the service. Before this I had went to Mr. Tire in Fairfax which was very unprofessional and needless to say will not be back there. After the exceptional service that was given by Midas today though this will be the place for future repairs. Overall a quality shop and will be back for future repairs!

I have been using Midas Chantilly for the last few years to maintain my landscape company's fleet of trucks. Brian and his crew always take excellent care of everything. They are very honest and reliable. I am happy I found them after going through several other places.

I took my car for routine oil change, and the Midas Courtesy Check that they say they do, which is one of the reasons why I used to trust the Midas services. When I got there, they say the service was going to last 45 min, and it was done in 20 min. So I don t know if I should be happy or concerned about this service. I supposed that they didn t do The Midas Courtesy check because they didn t gave me any report as they used to on my previous services. Also, when I tried to make an appointment online, they say they didn t have the time and date I was asking for through email(this happened twice in two different weeks.) But when my sister called and asked for an appointment at the same time and date I was asking for, they said they did have the availability for her. I am very disappointed about my last experience in this location.

I am regular customer of Midas and I more often go and now I moved to chantilly here also it was good but here in Chantilly I found more far better than there or I can say here is more awesome.Serve with coffee and tea,polite words from worker and very flexible and it s very cleanToday is my first day here in Chantilly workshop and I am reviewing now with taking coffee.I will definitely come again and again.

This place is pure robberyI know a lot about cars but I do not weld.i needed a new 30$ flex pipe welded in to my cat converter.It should be an hour job at the most for an experienced welder. They gave me a estimate of 600$!! they said they had to remove the turbo flange which is 100% false!! I went down the road and paid 250!! if you are a average joe they will rip you off, much better places in Chantilly, stay away from these thief's!
