I called JL at 5:30pm, by 5:50 they were working on my car, and at 6:30 they were handing my keys back. Polite, honest, helpful, and a fair price. Can t beat that. I also read on another review about smell, no where to sit and no sidewalk. The lobby area of the store was very comfy and I had a couch to sit on. If I didn t want to stay there, they offered me to use a loan vehicle and I wouldn t be surprised if they personally would have drove me somewhere. Place smell like roses.

I came to Virginia from New York for business. When I got on the highway back to New York, I found that there was something wrong with my car and I had to turn back. Fortunately, I found JL TIRE AND ATUO SERVICE. I explained the situation. I was coming from out of state and needed to return to New York immediately. They immediately arranged to inspect and start repairing my car. They also sent me back to the hotel and drove me back the next day. , I really appreciate this kind of service, the people here are very nice. Most importantly, my car was repaired and I made it back to New York in time to attend an event at my daughter's school. Although my car had problems out of state, I was very happy on the way back because they not only repaired my car but also provided me with other help. I feel very lucky that they are so kind. Happy New Year to them! Business is booming!

Highly Recommend! I needed an oil change, so I came here, a place I trust. Jonathan was fast and did a great job - he deserves lunch on the boss. The counter people are both super cool ensuring I'm comfortable while waiting! Thanks again JL! I'll be back

Got a flat with an out of state fleet car. My office called and JL came thru on commitment to quick service. They went and picked up replacement tire rather than than waiting for it to be delivered. Probably saved me hours.

I'm very satisfied with the work JL provided for my vehicle they have always treated me well and given me great service. They did my rear breaks and while they were doing that did the fluid for my differential which I knew had an issue and didn't change any labor on it. I have had two vehicles I've owned worked on with JL and have no complaints and Gloria the receptionist is always nice and professional.

Went there for an oil change, four new tires, alignment and balance, headlight restoration, and VA state inspection. I was very impressed with their service. Uliser and Raul very helpful and honest. One of the new tires had a bubble and they were thoughtful enough to provide a loaner car as well. Very satisfied and will certainly go back for my auto care needs! Keep up the great work!

The smell was difficult to be around and there is nowhere to sit outside and no sidewalk, so if you stay to wait for your vehicle it is a little uncomfortable.Otherwise overall good service and fast turnaround.

Had to stop while we were visiting from Pennsylvania after a tire tread damaged our car. Wanted to make sure we wouldn't have issues getting home to PA. They took it in immediately and made sure everything was okay. Service was friendly and we are so grateful for them getting us in last minute. Would highly recommend to anyone local after we had visited va tire and auto and they tried charging us 150 to even look at the vehicle.

I worked almos a decade as auto technician at a dealership, but not anymore. I used to do my own repairs but, recently moved to a townhouse in a residential neighborhood. My repairs are not welcome in the neighborhood that s why I took two of my vehicles to this shop, I pretended not to know about cars to see how honest they were; I was impressed by their honesty.I always knew what was going on with the vehicles and they didn t lie nor tried to sale me unnecessary repairs on top of that the price was very fair. I had two different techs and none of them lied on the needed repairs.Honesty goes a long way, I m definitely coming back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have used J L since they started. For the most recent work, my brother-in-law from Canada damaged two tires/rims and had to get them replaced asap to allow them to drive back to Canada. Uliser and his team replaced them expeditiously first thing in the morning. The staff was friendly as always and responsive. We service all our vehicles at J L. They are always honest, explain the needed repairs clearly and do not try to oversell repairs that are not necessary. Highly recommended.Services: Tires, Auto tire replacement

It is a good place with fair pricing.07/25/2023 - I took my Prius with a check engine light. The team performed the diagnoses and figured out that the issue can be fixed by the dealer for free as part of their extended warranty. This saved me a lot of time and money. On my way to work and all of a sudden, my serpentine belt snapped and I had to pull over. Was very lucky because my vehicle was towed to JL Tire & Auto Service and my vehicle was inspected and repaired the same day! Turns out, it was a bad alternator that caused my woes so both items were replaced with a 2-year warranty! Gloria and the mechanic staff did an excellent job and I will definitely recommend this business to anyone that needs auto service near this location!!

Very professional and responsive. I was surprised with a punctured tire on my way home from work on Friday at 5:00 pm. Nightmare...... Tried 4 other closer gas stations and repair shops and was told to come back on Monday. JL was able to fix my tire quickly. Awesome!

Great Service! We were going local shows in Culpeper area, but JL is the best service. We will be taking our vehicles there from now on! What s convenient is that there is an Enterprise rental car place across from them. If you live local, they can pick you up and drop you off.

I came here to get my tires replaced. The work started and ended in a reasonable time. The technicians were busy and professional. I was impressed by the knowledge/experience of the technicians. I was more impressed by the managers in the office. The technicians found things that needed attention but the managers explained it in a ZERO-PRESSURE way. JL is a one of a kind family business that treats you like one of their own. Honest, never over-priced, and free (yes free loaner cars) . Customer service from a bygone era and not to be missed. My tires seem to be a magnet to nails on roads with construction. JL Tires has always been there for me from replacing tires and/or patching as required. The service I received has always been top notc. The staff has always been honest, efficient, friendly and professional, not to mention quite reasonable. Amazing Service! Talked with the owner and he was very understanding and very honest .they helped me get work done during a very tight window prior to new years and I was pleased with their work. These guys are LIFESAVERS! I called them with an hour until closing with an emergency situation. They had parts on hand and were able to get me in on such short notice!! The level of professionalism is top-notch, I will be coming back!!

I had one of my tires replaced here after discovering a fast leak. It was an emergency situation as I had to drive back to NY for final exams the next day. Other shops in the area told me it would take 2-3 days (which is ridiculous). JL told me to bring it in, they took a look at it and about 45 minutes later I was on the road going back home. Front desk staff was very nice as well. So lucky to have found this place.Service: Tires

We had our timing belt replaced on our Acura TL by JL Tire and Auto Service. They were significantly cheaper than the dealership or other repair shops. We dropped the car off on a Thursday evening and it was completed by Friday evening. The products and service are warranted for 24 months. I worked with Uliser and he was extremely helpful and kind.

I called them around 9am to bring my car in later that day around 4pm. They got me on the schedule, same day, took my car back quickly at 4pm and repaired my tire all within 30 minutes. They found a screw in my tire and patched it up for a very affordable, competitive price. They were helpful, kind and very quick! Their office was nice, clean, welcoming and easy to find!My tire feels great and no issues the next day. I will be going back due to their great, quick service. Highly recommend!Update: I ve used their services a few more times since this repair and I m still so pleased with them as a company! Attentive, quick, reliable and it feels good to support them over a larger scale company as they really value you as a customer!

First of all was trying to give a chance to a shop I came in for the yearly safety inspection I wait 2 hours while my car was in the booth and they said your car failed inspection because of the led lights so I told them hey I have the lights in the car let me change them right now so we don t have to wait again so I changed them in 2 minutes came back in to the store told them it s ready so I waited then as a courtesy they charged me an extra $1.00 while car is still in the property to get that inspection sticker also they mentioned my front sun visor is down no where on the equipment safety check sheet does it say visor check I m truly disappointed in this place good luck to you guys here s the extra dollar from me enjoy
