Dave is truly an honest and great mechanic. I don't trust many people with my vehicles but Dave in on a vary short list of people I do. Took my truck in for tire installation and front end alignment and Dave questioned me on why I thought it needed an alignment as it looked good on his machine. I feel like most mechanics would just do the alignment even if it didn't needed it and charge you, but NOT Dave. He called and asked the right questions and it turned out to be my lack of rotating tires. That's why I recommend Dave to all my friends and family.

I called Dave, having read the positive reviews, to see if he was open to installing aftermarket parts: "Usually not, what is it ?" a high quality timing gear and dual-chain timing kit for a very common and reliable 22RE Toyota engine from LC Engineering (In Arizona, USA) , his immediate response: "I'm not gonna do that". David never even gave any chance to understand the technical characteristics of the product or of bona fides of the manufacturer. If you like trucks, understand engineering, this is not good news.. Maybe I caught him on a bad day, but it is a warning for anyone who approaches him

Straight to business..tells u what's wrong with and has it fixed in amazing time. Work done is super impressive. I will take my vehicles there anytime there is an issue

I brought in and dropped off a knuckle to have the hub pressed out.Dave got it done quickly and sent a text as soon as it was ready.Everywhere else I called either wasn't willing to do it, or the sales counter/service writer had no idea what I was requesting.

Took my car and got the job done perfectly on a TPMS sensor recalibration in less than 15 minutes. No BS talk, straight to the point and fair priced for the job.

TL;DR - Hands down, the most trustworthy & reliable place I've ever been.I've been to a few places, never really had a bad experience, but Dave's Automotive has since set the bar so high that I don't want to go anywhere else! Pricing is very reasonable, they're honest and their expert level knowledge means you're getting trustworthy information and reliable craftsmanship.

Honest trustworthy and fair pricing. Dave knows his cars. I trust my car with Dave and his crew, exclusively. The prices are fair for all work, and everything is done quickly. If you're taking your car to a dealership nearby or to a chain mechanic: you are simply getting ripped off and taken for additional, unnecessary work.Do not judge by their brevity on the phone--these guys are busy as heck, so they are quick and to the point.

We've been fortunate to have our cars serviced by David Bruce, one of those rare mechanics who are gifted with the ability to diagnose and fix all things. He is honest to a fault. If he tells you to repair or replace something, yoy can count on it. Our cars run like new. Even if we buy a new car, we'll take it to Dave's.

I have taken my aged Honda to Dave's twice now. I will no longer go anywhere else. I was referred to him by a master mechanic. Dave is awesome, no BS, he is all about making your car run like it should. Driving home I did not even recognize my car as it ran so well. He is not a huge chain but a specialist, it's all about you. If you want your car running right without the up-sell, Dave is the man to see. Priced right and precision work, you will be doing yourself a disservice to go anywhere else. I can't say enough.I want to add one thing. Sometimes women are afraid of taking a car to a shop because they feel they will be taken advantage of... In this case I am speaking of my wife. With Dave, he tells it like it is. This indeed speaks to character. Dave will take care of you.This car is actually for my son. The greatest concern, like any parent, is the safety of my family My son can not drive a more safe car given Dave's care. This is huge to me. I feel my son is safe and you cannot put a price on that!!!DougAshburn, VA

I had weird issues with the car and the guys stuck with it until it was done. I guarantee my old mechanics would never have taken the time or effort to save my vehicle from just being a lemon. Daves is great and they communicate every step of the way.
