The Manager and mechanics you can trust and are very professional and fair. For more than 20 years Is the only place I take all my cars and never had any problems.

Rude owner take your business somewhere else. I was aggressively approached and told to leave when trying to get gas. Happily taking my business elsewhere

$2.75 for 89 midgrade gasoline? I went to a Shell gas station a few miles away on Route 50 West and the cost there was $2.39 for 89 midgrade gasoline. They had people waiting in and out of their cars to get service by the mechanics who worked there.

If you want to save the life of your cars, do not service your cars in this ugly workshop. I will never service my cars with them again. Trusting them naively, I changed their oil each time, until it became clear in the BMW service that the oil filter had practically not changed for a long time. Noticing a leaking from the neck of the oil filter cup, I immediately went first to Shell. To which the persian guy (Suleiman -mechanic) allegedly examined my car, referred to a malfunction of the heat exchanger. I was of the opinion that the gasket on the oil filter cover was not replaced (it changes every time the filter and oil are replaced) and did not even deign to fix its own mistake. Next, I went to the BMW dealership where my assumptions came true. So ... Serve your cars with smart craftsmen and not crooks.

I often used this gas station as a convenient restroom location with no trouble. However, things changed on 11/20/2022 at about 7:00 in the morning. I had just entered the restroom and I was minding my own business when I heard extremely loud pounding on the bathroom door. I opened it and the person who works at the gas station started screaming at me because I had moved the trash can that had propped open the door. The man was blocking my only exit and was hurling abusive insults at me. I managed to calm him down and put the trashcan in the restroom as he demanded. However, had I decided to argue with him, I worry that I would have been assaulted. Needless to say, I will never return to this location. I would strongly advise anyone reading my review to avoid this gas station because the current employee cornered me in an enclosed space and screamed at me because I moved a trash can to the wrong place. I would strongly encourage management to fire the individual who was working this shift. My hope is that this review helps members of the public avoid the gas station worker who engages in intimidation and bullying tactics.

My Go to shop for vehicle inspection and emissions. While there are mixed reviews, my experience is mostly positive. No upsell or unnecessary pressure tactics. Inspector Sasan SattarzadehFailed inspection for "cat removed" and broken light bulbs. Inspector also told me that my cotter pins were missing, but didn't include it on the inspection sheet since he figured I wouldn't go back to this location for a follow up inspection. Car wasn't throwing any codes so idk why he even checked for my cat in the first place, never had that happen.I immediately pointed out my catalytic converter to him, and he claimed that it was not a cat, and said if it was there would be two o2 sensors on the car and he could only locate one. I'm not familiar enough with my car to know the locations of all the o2 sensors yet, so no point in arguing it further.I get home and lift the car to check out all the things he said needed fixing. First off, I found the other o2 sensor after about a minute of searching. Secondly, I see my cotter pins exactly where they should be. The only thing he legitimately rejected my car for were the lightbulbs. Cheap and easy fix right there, I've been places that will pass you, and then replace the bulb for you since it's so simple, or at least offer the service.I have no idea what the dudes beef with me or my car is, but I've never been more frustrated with a rejection sticker in my life. Usually it's as easy as just getting the fixes done, but what am I to do if the things that need "fixing" have literally nothing wrong?Only gave it two stars because the location is real convenient, friendly staff in the convenience store, otherwise totally negative experience, won't come here againEdit: I should have read the reviews before coming here

My husband and I have been having our yearly State Inspections and car repairs performed at Chantilly Shell in Fairfax for over 10 years. We have always found the prices fair and the work performed on our cars to be very professional and complete.Brian Young is the new service manager and is doing a wonderful job and works to keep the prices as low as possible and is always improving customer service.I was rather surprised to see negative reviews given when I know they can't be true.I rather think they were customers that were given estimate of charges for work needing to be performed and they had unrealistic understanding of costs to maintain and repair vehicles.It is important to have and maintain relationships with the same business that you know you can trust to take care you and your family.

After waiting 36 minutes in line for my vehicle state inspection, the guy told me the vehicle in front of me is the one they will do inspection as last one, I asked and requested him very nicely, but he ignored and said he is working since early morning no good customer service!!

I took my vehicle to this Chantilly Shell Station for state Inspection last week. The Inspector Mr. Sasan Sattarzadeh, was trying to find anything to fail my inspection, he said the CV-boots needs replacing, and cleaning my steering weal oil, etc. I take care of my vehicles and I have never had an inspector remove the under plastic cover of the engine just to find something to fail. I think this guy was hoping that I would give them the work at this Shell station. A week later I took my car back and he failed the inspection again. Reason being engine wasn't clean. They were also dirty, didn't use gloves and plastic seat covers, and poor customer service. Don't waste you're time at this location

Excellent customer service!!!!! I arrived very early for an emissions inspection, they took me right in without hesitation. Had a nice cup of coffee while waiting less than 10 minutes for the service. Friendly staff all around. I'll be a repeat customer.

The inspection is very unreasonable, the new inspector, Sattarzadeh fail car for reasons not critical to safety. All the repair shop I went for quote about fixing the item he failed, do not understand why he did that. Well, everyone has his own opinion, guess young man always think they are different. The same issue was with the car for 3-4 years, and went to this inspection every year, there has never been a problem. Maybe they need work for their shop? I will never go to this place again.

Discovered this place several years ago on accident actually. Haven't taken our cars to anyone else since. They only fix what needs fixed and service charges are more than reasonable. Ameen is one of the few "good guys" left in the business!Unfortunately Ameen is no longer there, and I haven't been back.

I ve gone to Shell for a number of visits, detailed work involving brake lines and rotor repair and so forth. Brian is very good, always arranges appointments quickly and calls when the service is done. Very happy with the service here.

This was my first time getting gas from this Shell gas station. I liked that it was not too busy and that it was clean upon close observation. It's a fairly medium sized business located off of route 50, close to quite a few shopping centers and eateries. The station store was opened for business and even the mechanic in site was wiring in a vehicle as I was filling up my car. I guess one of the things I noticed right away was the gas prices, which are much higher than most of the other gas stations in the vicinity, at least .40 cents higher the average for Plus and the other grades respectively. This price difference is probably why I don't frequently get gas here and ignore it. And it's kind of disappointing that the price is so high for a Shell station considering that a quarter of a mile on the opposite side of the road is another Shell with competitively lower prices. In any case, the reason I stopped here in the first place was GetUpside app suggested it for a .25 cent discount per gallon. Otherwise, I would've driven right past it like l normally would. Unfortunately, if this location's price remain high, I will not stop here again and I'm sure I'm not the only person who's price conscious these days. Overall, a very clean and well-maintained station with free gas pumps and a convenience store on the premises, but they lose points for noncompetitive prices. Just my opinion of course.

I've been going here for two of my vehicles for several years for inspections and minor repairs. They are honest and don't rip you off like other places.

I went in with a coworker yesterday morning to buy water and soda. The clerk went on and on about men respecting women, in his day men paid for women, etc. He wouldn't finish ringing up her order until I annoyed enough to just pay for everything. It's rude. I only have it 2 stars because the pricing isn't hiked up.

Good for state safety inspections. Never had any other work done there. Gas prices are competitive. Nothing really stands out to make it great.

Best car service ever! Rivals my parents favorite mechanic from small town 1970s! Honest, fast, reasonable price, loaner cars. If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, this is your answer!

I went here to fix my car and the shop manager spoke in a foreign language the whole time to what appear to be his friends while I had to wait to speak with him about the repairs. Then gave me a price much higher than what was previously quoted. I will not come back.

The inspector was very nasty with my father, he inspected his vehicle the first time and we fixed everything as he told him. In the re-inspection he found two more things that he tried to charge for. In the third trip he not even accepted the car.

Don't bring your car here for safety inspection or emission. They will fail you for stuffs like having HID lights and boost gauge. If your car is modded, stay away. They are unreasonable about the mods.
